Had the best experience with this office, the doctor is super knowledge, caring and made sure to explain everything to me as he was working on me which helped a lot with my anxiety. Everyone who works there is so nice as well, I would recommend them to anyone who needs exceptional care for their root canal. Thank you Dr Petersen! read more

The words "Root Canal" strike fear into just about everyone. But, if you wait until the tooth dies and THEN go in for a root canal, you feel literally nothing. In fact, ask for gas and you will feel less than nothing. I know, you're going to say that approach is not recommended. Hey, if you can make it thru the pain of the tooth dying, you can do anything. Including getting you ass in to Dr Petersen BEFORE it dies. A good way to save your tooth. He's fast and has done so many of these that you are in good hands. read more

I don't think anyone looks forward to a root canal. I had one done today, 12/19/2024. I've had several in the past 76 years, but this was by far the easiest, and I had zero pain. I even went to Happy Hour this evening. Dr. Petersen & staff were beyond GREAT. I felt he went over & above. He made sure I was comfortable during the complete procedure. Everything went terrific as I had expected due to his great reputation. If getting a root canal scares you, take it from me he's great at what he does. He even called me this evening to make sure I was feeling okay. I am, no pain just grateful he was as good as I've heard about him. read more

I was terrified to have another root canal due to my experience here. It was painful, i flinched multiple times because I could literally feel the drill it was awful. Well I got another root canal at a different office and I didn't feel a THING. I asked the Dr as to why that may be and he guesses that it's probably because he didn't check to make sure all nerves were numb. Pro tip for y'all read more

Always a safe, welcoming, and compassionate experience here. I wish I had better teeth but yall really took care of some problems I had.

Great team, incredibly skilled dr...they all made my root canal experience comfortable and smooth.

Yesterday was my first root canal and I was very nervous! Dr Petersen and his team were very professional and caring. Due to arthritis, my jaw is very limited and can barely open. Dr Petersen recommended that I do the procedure under sedation, which allowed him to do the work and allowed me to remain comfortable and pain free. I had many questions and concerns before the procedure and Dr Petersen's staff was very responsive and got back to me right away. I highly recommend Petersen Endodonics. read more

Lovely. Lovely. Lovely people and care!! Now, getting a root canal super sucks, HOWEVER, this team is AMAZING! From the first call (with Keri) to the actual appt, amazing from beginning to end!! Couldn't be more pleased with my care. AND they were very upfront about the cost, explained everything before and after the appt. Perfection. Dr P is so gentle and will explain everything along the way if you need / want that! 10 stars!!! read more

I love this place & I now look forward to going here. The staff are all lovely and easy to ask questions of. I've had 3 root canals in the past 2 weeks here & I appreciate how much Dr. Petersen and his assistants did to make sure I was comfortable. I have a lot of anxiety about dental work, but I was able to use NO2 for a very reasonable price (it barely changed in last 5 years!). They actually have bluetooth headphones that you can pair to your phone for music or noise-cancelling headphones. They put sunglasses on you so the overhead lights aren't a nuisance. They are very sweet and pro-active about your comfort. There was no pain for any of the steps & afterwards the course of free ibuprofen and Tylenol was all I needed. I loved this practice when Dr. Doyen was my doctor for a couple of root canals... now I love this practice with Dr. Petersen and his staff. Don't hesitate to go here : ) read more

Great work from the team here. 1. They called because they were ahead of schedule..which tells me they're efficient. 2. They quickly diagnosed my need for a root canal and fit me in that day. 3. Dr. Petersen and his staff were fantastic at training their new team member who helped during my procedure. Thanks! read more

A Root canal is a dreaded experience for anyone. I have had a few in my lifetime, but never as pain free, efficient and effective as this one. Their office was the best- kind, previewed and explained all the procedures as they happened and answered all questions. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. Dr Petersen was excellent, detailed, and skilled in his field! I highly recommend him for your serious dental needs. read more

If there were 6 stars Dr. Aric Petersen would deserve it! If you want excellence, professionalism and caring he's your man. The staff is also very expert and kind. Dr. Petersen knows what he is doing. He did my root canal and a follow up at 6 months for no charge, just to make sure there was no infection remaining. He explained what I needed to know about using my front tooth and that I didn't need a cap, which my regular dentist had recommended. Thank you to Christina for treating me with courtesy and kindness and also for sharing a laugh. I'm so glad I found Dr. Petersen! Wishing him and his staff continued good luck. read more

I waited a few weeks to review to see if pain would return and it has not. I am very happy with the attention I received. Dr. Petersen and his assistant worked as a team. It was impressive, like a fine oiled machine. I also felt amazing after my root canal. I had to sit in the car and stay relaxed after for a few minutes. I actually felt like I had a message. I highly recommend this practice and will definitely come back if I need another root canal. read more

Whoever they have answering the phones is not a nice lady...Gina is her name I believe. She lost my business I needed 2 emergency root canals and she showed little to no compassion or care about my situation and was quite proud of the fact they don't discount fees for cash patients. She also talked to me about the x-rays I have to bring in like I'm stupid or something. When I called to cancel she was very smug about it too so obviously the right decision. With people like this working in the front office can you really trust your care to the people that hire them? Not me. read more

My dentist referred me to Dr. Petersen for what would have been my first ever root canal. I hadn't had pain in the tooth, but my dentist was readying it for a crown and found some blood inside. He thought he had hit the pulp. When I went to Dr. P's, they took a 3-D scan of my tooth, an X-ray, and then tested a couple of teeth for cold sensitivity. Then he called my dentist. Dr. P discovered that what my dentist had thought was pulp was actually the remains of a bit of pulp that had receded because of aging. That area was actually calcified. My tooth was intact, and no root canal was needed. Only a crown. I am enormously grateful to Dr. Petersen for not rushing into a procedure that wasn't needed and instead taking the time to determine what actually happened. Everyone in the office was kind, and I was very impressed. read more

Dr Petersen and staff were absolutely first rate. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommend their serious

New patient of Dr Petersen and he made me feel reassured he will give me the best Endodontics care. Just moved from Chicago and wasn't expecting to get a root canal and the office got me right in with my new dentist referral to Dr P. Over the weekend I had a tooth abscess that steadily got worse. I needed a endodontist badly. I call Dr. Pedersen's office on Monday A.M. and they were as caring as can be. Carey had me set up with an after-hours appointment that same day. I have to say that not only is Petersen Endodontics office staff is superb, but I think Dr. Petersen is the best dentist I have ever had! He was painless and thorough and in about 1 hour I was on my way with the abscess drained and my options to consider on the future care of the tooth. I was referred to the office by my general dentist for a difficult root canal. While root canals are never fun, the office staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful. Dr Petersen did a great job, and was able to successfully complete the root canal. When the Novocain wore off, I had almost no pain. Great job! read more

I had a very pleasant experience today with Dr. Peterson and his staff. My dentist referred me for a root canal evaluation and his office got me in right away and even squeezed me in for the procedure the same day. I was in a lot of pain and their main concern was to releive me of that pain. Mid-procedure, Dr. Peteraon stopped and updated me on my options moving forward and took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different options that he saw were appropriate for the circumstances. There was no rush to make a decision and I felt he guided me in the right direction. I am almost pain free tonight and feel that he truly had my best interest at heart. I was apprehensive at first but am so happy about the outcome (especially now that I am pain free)! read more

Dr. Petersen did an excellent root canal. The process was extremely smooth. I was seen promptly and the follow up was perfect. It was my first root canal so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Doctor described what would happen and the office is stocked with the latest equipment. That is what impressed me the most, the modern tools made the whole operation go well. I highly recommend Dr. Petersen and his office. The staff is friendly, good follow through and the way the procedure was done made me confident that it was done right. Thank you for an 'enjoyable' root canal. read more

I went here to see Dr. Aric Peterson for 3 root canal "re-do's" about 2 weeks ago. Crazy, right? I know... I'm a glutton for punishment. Aric and his staff were very comforting and accommodating with me. It was very quiet in his office, which I loved because I was shaking with anxiety. I opted for the nitrous oxide (which I personally recommend) as it sorta knocks you out - I was literally cold asleep in his chair for 3 hours of surgery. Dr. Aric was very competent and completed the jobs without fail. I can't thank him enough for the fabulous job he did with my teeth. Recommend this place for any endodontics work that you need done. read more

I am fine with flesh wounds, but dental work pegs my anxiety... Dr Petersen and the staff were incredible in all facets: from front office, to prep, to the actual work, to post-work follow up. Great people. Great work. Great experience. I have found my forever-endodonist. :-D read more

I was so scared and anxious to have a root canal. I went for several consultations with other Endodontists and selected Dr. Peterson. Dr. Peterson and his assistant Trish were AMAZING!! They were kind, patient, compassionate and educated me thoroughly on the procedure....and even allayed my fears during the consultation and showed me how the mouth block would fit during the procedure. I was so impressed that he took the time to do this with me! I love that he uses a new technology, called the Gentle Wave to assure all the areas of the root are sufficiently cleaned. It's not a fun having a root canal, but Dr. Peterson and Trish made it as easy as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson!! read more

The first thing you'll notice when Dr. Petersen walks into the room will be his youthful looks. But don't let that fool you...Dr. Petersen has the skills and the experience of the most experienced, and the best of them. I'm thankful to my dentist for referring me to the right place. I had some kind of abscess or infection that required antibiotics, but before anything got out of control Dr. Petersen went to work. There was a moment when the situation seemed very difficult and I almost started to lose it, but he was calm, cool and collected and gave me my options. He had to pretty much put the whole bridge back on, which I didn't think was his field, but he handled it like a pro. He did such a great job. I'm able to chew and eat even better than before. I'm very thankful for that. A root canal is one of the scariest & stressful things for many of us, so that's why I think this kind of reviews are so important. If someone is asking, is this the right doctor, or place? Well, based on my experience, it is. If he fixed my issue with so much care and precision. I'm pretty sure he can handle yours. He has the technology, staff and skills. So this is an easy answer... Go! read more
