But, Sal exceeded my expectations. My Grandma loves roses, so roses were incorporated into her arrangement yet it still has a holiday feel to it. Now, I rely on them every year to make a beautiful arrangement. Also, its super convenient that you can do all your ordering online (including a description etc.) and they will handle everything for you (and provide a receipt once the arrangement has been made/delivered). They put orange, yellow, red, pinks, purples, all together and gave me flowers I could have gotten down the street at the grocery store. I called right away but they were closed. I called the next morning 5/19 during their open hours and no one answered. I called 30+ times. I called building security to have them check and they were closed, with a sign saying closed until 5/28 or 5/31. I called again today, 6/4 and got a hold of the owner. I told her I called and left a vm and never heard back. She said she did not get my calls or vm and that she is there every day. Then why did you not answer and why was the shop closed with a sign saying you won't open til 5/28 or 5/31?? She ended the call by saying "I'll refund your money. Don't ever call me again." Just wow. She could have said I'm sorry I did not receive your vm and calls, I will refund your money. What a shame as a business in a corporate building who has such high praise for her business, claiming she strives to please her customers. She should know better than to fight back with customers after 32 years. I was not yelling at her, just said I tried many times to reach her and was not able to. I have never had a business owner speak to me this way. She was highly unprofessional and needs to apologize and make this right. I do not like posting less than 3 star reviews but this cannot go unnoticed.

I could have stopped payment, but I felt, as a family business, with supposed integrity, they would acknowledge the errors. When I contacted them about the many differences between what was ordered versus what was delivered, they said basically I had ordered too late in the week to get the arrangement I had ordered. Their site only warns: "If placing an order for same day delivery, please know the order will be filled as close as possible based on flower availability that day." (I did not order same day delivery. ) Giving me no choice in the matter, they had failed to substitute comparable flowers and plants and never could explain the alternate container. Their response was quite dismissive - and I see from the reviews this is a regular event for them. When I came back saying I expected to share my experience online, they gave me a $15 refund on a $108 bill. Just...find a reliable florist. Friends, who called the arrangement a scam, a shabby match, and a sad sack set of flowers, recommended La Vassar Florist and Ballard Blossom. I myself have used Stadium for deliveries and never experienced this. So there are better options.

Alicia and I have been friends for over 30 years, since we were kids in the same class at school. Alicia had messaged me that her Father had passed away, so I wanted to send her flowers and bring her a home-cooked meal. I had hesitated at the space on Maxine's website where it asked me to put in my friend's phone number, because Alicia and I always communicate via Facebook Messenger and I don't actually have Alicia's phone number. So I put in my phone number instead. Maxine called me and I explained the situation to Maxine. Maxine was very professional and helpful when I spoke with her on the phone. In addition to the phone number issue, I was also a bit worried because the flower delivery was initially scheduled for a Monday and no one was home to receive the delivery at the time that it was delivered, and Maxine's website said that Maxine's floral is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. So I was concerned that if the delivery had to be postponed to Thursday or Friday, the flowers might end up being a bit droopy by then. When I explained my concern to Maxine, Maxine reassured me and told me that they can sometimes schedule re-deliveries for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. At Maxine's suggestion, I messaged my friend Alicia on Facebook Messenger and I asked Alicia to call Maxine to arrange a re-delivery time for her flowers. When I delivered the home-cooked meal to Alicia tonight, Alicia gave me a beautiful Thank You card that she had made using a photo of a few of the blooms in Maxine's flower arrangement. Alicia is so creative! Alicia loved the flowers, and she received them on Tuesday, even though Maxine's Floral is closed that day. I felt very taken care of while I was speaking with Maxine. Her customer service was superb, and Alicia loved Maxine's floral arrangement. I have attached photos of Alicia's Thank You card to me, since it included a photo of a few of the blooms in her arrangement and it also included some of her thoughts about the flowers. I'm very happy with both the customer service from Maxine and the floral arrangement. If the customer service was not as good as it was I could have imagined that these issues may have added stress to the situation, but there was no stress added, only stress taken away. I would most definitely order flowers from Maxine again. Thank you, Maxine, for helping me to bring comfort to a wonderful friend in her time of grief.

There were multiple instances of people looking out for us and trying to help during the wedding day due to the coordinator's oversights. My wife's bridesmaid and MOH tried to open the veil for my wife, however they both were reprimanded by the coordinator to get in line and the coordinator stated that she would do it. She claims that she opened it up and the fan blew it closed when I turned the corner, but that is a blatant lie as the veil was already closed when my wife walked down the aisle as the coordinator never opened up her veil. Additionally, the fan was not strong at all, as evidenced on video footage. Another incidence, the seats were positioned improperly and not as a circular manner around the arbor. Katrina did not even remember that this was what was previously agreed on. The seats were also very lopsided on one side and were 2x the amount as the other side. When my brother-in-law notified Katrina, she did not even want to try to see if there was a way to improve it. She just said it's fine, and that the couple would not care and not to tell his sister. Katrina was very dismissive of our concerns. So my brother-in-law had to rely on the wedding venue person to help do her job. Unfortunately I did not know any of this was happening in the background because our wedding guests did not want to bother us so did not complain about the coordinator until we started to hear more complaints in the days after. Multiple individuals informed us of the coordinator Katrina's rude and curt demeanor when they asked her any questions or cared more than she did. Additionally, she was late for our initial meeting and was very disorganized. She also asked to take a bunch of our desserts home, which we let her, even though she didn't deserve it. We reached out to Katrina and tried to resolve these issues with her, but she was unwilling to, hence this lengthy review. Do not recommend working with her at all. Search elsewhere, unless you want someone unprofessional, disorganized, and untrustworthy. We truly regret having hired Katrina as our florist and coordinator.

I went in month before to give them my business license to be able to purchase the flowers and was told to place my order 2 weeks before the wedding. I placed the ordered exactly as they said and when I went to pick up the flowers the day before my wedding I was told the order was never placed and that about 95% of the flowers that I wanted they didn't have in stock. They never gave me an apology and I was told to pick from what they had in the warehouse which wasn't much because it was friday and they had been cleared out. And not to mention I had to completely change any original plans I had for flowers for my wedding which was the next day. Don't order your wedding flowers here.
