We were just in the market for the gelato that day and were pleased to find about 8 selections in the front cooler. After sampling the violet I chose it- slightly sweet, floral but fruitier than I imagined. It was remarkable. My friend got chocolate and we enjoyed a nice walk down to the river while eating our treats. The cafe did have a handful of tables in and outdoors in case you prefer to stay there. It was about half full at 2 pm with people studying or enjoying themselves. The person at the counter was perfect. Friendly without being pushy. We originally ordered a pumpkin spice latte and Vietnamese coffee with a cinnamon roll. When I was taking pics for Yelp I saw a blueberry lemon cookie and that was it for me. I sincerely hoped they weren't going to massacre this thing. It was huge and delicious. Perfect balance of everything. I will be ordering two more to-go before I leave this place.
