After years of trying finally found the right day to drop in and discover why everyone loves this place. I know now cause they are so friendly and helpful. The place is full of gooey goodness and sweet heavenly cakes. They were out of the chocolate covered stawberries today so a return trip is immediately needed but opted for some candy and cupcakes and enjoyed them all. It's a top choice where you can stop by and Support local cause it does make a difference...

I figure it's about time that I updated my review. Anyone who sees my check-ins know that I'm a regular here and I absolutely love everything this woman creates....and it's not just chocolate! Without writing a novel, but still leaving you curious....here's my ultimate recommendations for when you go: Do get the thumbprint pecan shortbread butter cookies with buttercream on top. I get these by the half or full dozen if she's not sold out. They make the best gifts because they're so addicting and cute! Definitely pick-up the brownies with nuts (they are frosted, too) and (when available) the frosted red velvet brownie with nuts for your chocolate fix. If she has a piece of her iced lavender cake, this is a must-try. Sometimes she makes them in a cupcake form. The flavors are a masterpiece. Yum. Her Milk and White Chocolate Turtles are to-die for and all of her handmade chocolate treats especially the White Trash. Ask for it. For any special occasion or if you're PMSing (if you're female and even if you're not), both her French Silk Pie and her Coconut Cream Pie will cure ALL types of aches and blues. It's recommend to call ahead for those. She makes specialty cakes and goes all out for pretty much every major holiday throughout the year so this is a perfect place to grab some pre-packaged treats for friends and family as gifts for very reasonable prices. I heard from the grapevine that she may start offering cinnamon buns [her family's secret recipe] soon on a regular basis and that brings me total joy! All I know is every time I pop-in, I get to sample something delicious and new. This is a true hidden neighborhood gem in Murray Hill.

Oh goodness, I've been wanting to come here for a while now (thanks to fellow Yelper Leah's pictures lol) and finally made it in after having lunch next door at Kitchen Kettle. The main reason I came here was for pralines but sadly, the woman who made them had been out for a week and they did not have any in stock. I will definitely return to try them. So, instead I purchased 3 cupcakes (chocolate, Key Lime, and peanut butter) and 2 pecan sandies. I ate the pecan sandies all by myself when I got home. Thank goodness I only bought two. They were perfection. They had a little dollop of buttercream icing on top but they didn't need it at all. They were melt-in-your-mouth pecan perfections. I saved the cupcakes and my husband and I made them last by splitting them for a couple of nights. All were good, super moist and delicate, but the peanut butter one was freaking fabulous with a peanut fudgey buttercream icing that was out of this world. The shop is very cute and they have a lot of gift ideas. I'm looking forward to returning.

I was in the market for a good local bakery recently, as I wanted to get a head start on my Christmas shopping (I like to give gift bags of treats away to friends and co-workers...and of course to myself), since you pretty much can't go wrong with chocolate. I did a quick search, and Heavenly Chocolate Creations popped up. I was surprised at how closely located it was to my neighborhood. How did I not know about this place, especially with such glowing reviews??? I decided that either 1. I'm totally slacking or 2. This place was definitely off the beaten path, hidden from plain sight. Either way, i knew I had to get over there, STAT. Location, Location, Location: Nope, I haven't been slacking. If not for my trusty Yelp radar, I would've never known it existed. It's tucked away in a tiny strip of shops located way off the main road. In fact, if you drove past and didn't know it was there, you'd hardly give it a second look. However, upon entering, it's a whole different story. Treats and Eats: Looking around, it's as if I was transported into the compact version of Willy Wonka's factory. All this place needs is a few Oompa Loompa's running around and it's set. Any type of intricate chocolates that you would hope to find, they've got it covered. Nuts, fruits, bon bons, clusters, popcorn, BACON... it's neverending. There's gift assortments and treat bags playfully embellished throughout the shop, and the wonderful aroma of holiday spices emanates from the open kitchen. There are two glass display cases to marvel at. The one off to the right houses the days selection of chocolates (I'm told it varies according to season), and the one by the counter shows off the baked goods which includes mouth watering cupcakes, cookies, and a variety of cake slices. I immediately scooped up the Pumpkin with Cream Cheese cake to take home and devour later, and a 9- pack box of mixed chocolates to eat....I mean....for a friend. And So: You need to get here ASAP. I can't say enough good things about Heavenly Chocolate Creations. It's a treasure hunt, but well worth it. The lady (who I'm presuming to be an owner) that I talked to was awesome enough to print me up a list of their seasonal homemade pies (see pic), and with how busy I am during the holidays, this will definitely come in handy for gatherings...or just for myself. That Granny Smith Apple Praline Pie sounds absolutely divine, after all. I might not want to share. Update: Speaking of not sharing....The Pumpkin cake was out of this world, and the cream cheese swirl really put it over the top. And without admitting anything, my favorite chocolates were, the Butter Pecan, the Tiramisu, and the Mint Chocolate. Absolutely delightful in both flavor and texture. Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT your local businesses and as always....SYOY!

Upon entering this appears to be a normal chocolate, cake, cookie kinda place but, there is a restaurant attached to it. I cannot speak for th food as of today, but I can rave about the oatmeal cookie with GOLDEN raisins! Not only was it the size of a saucer, it was possibly one of the best oatmeal cookies I've ever eaten. Also had the chocolate cookie with chocolate icing which was also very tasty, just thick. We had the peanut butter with peanut butter cups, very crumbly and dry...eat with a plate and tea. We had a box of chocolates as well, as far as I know they were all delicious because my family gobbled them up! We will definitely come back to try the food and to get more cookies. I guess I will need to get up much earlier if I want to try the donuts! Good treats get sold out early, the early bird gets the donuts!

I discovered this amazing place thanks to my wonderful friend and fellow Yelper, Leah A., who was sweet enough to get me a gift bag filled with an assortment of delicious goodies from here. She selected a great assortment for me.... in my goodie bag she included: Chocolate covered Oreos (both milk chocolate and white chocolate covered), peanut butter cups, a very large chocolate covered pretzel (dark and milk) with caramel and almonds, and a really huge chocolate chip cookie. I just didn't know where to start! The peanut butter cups... ahhhhh those peanut butter cups! That's stuff you dream of right there. They were homemade.... yes, homemade. I didn't even know such a thing existed. The only peanut butter cups I've ever had in my life were Reeses and these things were so good that Reeses should be hanging their head down in shame! For real! Nice, thick chocolate with the perfect amount of peanut butter in the middle. These things were so large and so rich that I could only eat a half of one at a time. So good!!! The chocolate covered pretzel is so large that I'm still working on finishing it. I never have been a fan of dark chocolate, but it's mixed so well with the milk chocolate that I love it. I am a huge fan of caramel and the little droplets mixed into the chocolate make for a perfect combo. Let's also not forget about the chopped almonds that can be found in every bite of the chocolate! I absolutely must talk about the over-sized chocolate chip cookie. I can tell it was baked fresh because it was very soft. What I'm about to say may shock some of you... I do not like chocolate chip cookies... never have, not even as a kid. I know... shocking, right? I will actually sit and pick chocolate chips out of the cookies.... or at least try to. LOL I say to my husband all the time, "Now why do they have to go and put chocolate chips in cookies when I just want the cookie?!" LOL Yea, he always gives me a weird look. But I digress... Let me tell you about this chocolate chip cookie from Heavenly! LOVE IT! The chocolate they use in the cookie is actually real chocolate.... it's not that semi-sweet stuff (which I imagine is the reason I've never liked chocolate chips). My husband was so disappointed because he fully thought the chocolate chip cookie was his. I had one bite of it and his dreams of having it went right down the drain! Hehe Ok, I was nice enough to give him a few bites. :D The next time I'm in this part of town, I'm going to be stopping by Heavenly Chocolate Creations and I advise you to do the same. I can't wait to get some more of my favourite and to try some of their other goodies! Thank you, Leah, for my goodies and for introducing me to this place. You're awesome, sweetie!! =)

My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday for a tour of the candy making facility, where we learned a lot about how the chocolates and other candies are made, and we were even able to design and enjoy our own custom chocolate bar.
