I regret going to to this dentist. I had a front tooth crown that didn't quite match from another…read moredentist. I went to Dr. Sullivan in hopes that after more than 5 years of hiding my teeth when I talked or smiled, I'd be able to get some confidence back. I'm uncomfortable all the time after a front tooth crown he placed back in June. I've made many, many visits back to get adjustments as none of my other crowns on this same tooth have been uncomfortable, so I knew it wasn't supposed to feel this way. At my last visit, as he was adjusting the back, he must have accidentally hit the bottom of the crown and sliced part of it off. This is one of my front two top teeth, and now one is shorter than the other. I noticed it immediately and asked him about it. He completely denied having done it, even though I pointed out that I walked into the office that day with both of my two front teeth being the same length. What followed is nothing short of shame tactics on his part. Telling me he can never make me happy (gaslighting), when all I've been striving for is to make my mouth comfortable again, the way it was before this crown. I never nit picked the aesthetics of his work. His crowns have all been beautiful and matched perfectly, which I've let him know each time. I went to a different dentist and upon examination he let me know that I am uncomfortable due to crowding on my bottom teeth (something Dr. Sullivan had recognized in December and was working on for me). Basically, my bottom tooth wants to be where my crown is, so of course I'm uncomfortable. I'm going to an orthodontist next and hope to finally feel better. What's heartbreaking is that I am hiding my smile again, as the bottom of the crown has been sliced off. And since I don't plan to get the crown replaced, I will be hiding my smile for a very, very long time. I don't expect perfection in dentists, as they are human, too! But owning up to and admitting mistakes instead of gaslighting and demeaning me would have been a better way to handle that situation. I probably wouldn't have gone back, but I also wouldn't be writing this review right now. To his credit, he did give me all my money back. He also does work with labs that create perfect looking crowns.

After years of having beautiful teeth, mine started breaking off which was related to a medication…read morethat I need to take and I had to have all of my teeth removed. Then I had surgery for the placements of the studs that would click into my new/ fake teeth. The cost is astronomical and I have a very low tolerance for dental pain. I was referred to this office by my surgeon and neither of us were aware that there had been a major change in the denturists. She is a very pleasant young woman who is dedicated to her craft but in my case, my new teeth never stayed in properly. After my fifth visit, I decided to look for someone else. The office told me that I could go to an office in Salem but they d know of anyone who could place my teeth properly. Also, the covering of my front tooth came off while I was eating. So, not only did they not fit, but were made with a lower quality substance. This process has been very trying, painful and very expensive and I would not want anyone else to go through this process and get the same results. Also, the front desk staff are lacking common sense as you don't tell a patient "GOOD LUCK " when they have left the practice.

I still don't have insurance, but I did have a broken and painful tooth, so I budgeted carefully to have it pulled. All I can say is if you are looking for a good dentist, this is the one you're looking for. The ladies were wonderful and so friendly. I got a timely appt, I did my paperwork online, they sent me appt reminders, and I did not wait a single second in the lobby past my appt start time. Dr. John Schilt was right on that tooth as soon as the xrays and initial exam by the assistant, whose name I may have forgotten, were completed. He deadened the area with no pain at all, and extracted that bad tooth in just minutes, NO PAIN!. I got a 5% discount for cash or check....who can argue? Dr. Schilt and every one of his lovely ladies were so friendly, but also professional at the same time. The office was clean and nice & cool. I have not one negative thing to say. I highly recommend giving this office a try if you are looking for a dentist. And the big plus for me is that it is only a few blocks from my house. Wherever you live though, it's worth the drive!

Next Dr. Ewert beautifully explained the procedure I'll need from my little accident over the summer.(oops) I was in and out in 15 minutes they are so fast and efficient! After I got a pack of gum and a tin of delicious Monty peppermint Altoids. Just to make this whole trip even better I used their handy kurig that they provide to make some incredible hot chocolate.
