My last dentist, it took weeks just for them to then turn around and have to seek approval from the insurance a second time because designing the crown took so long. I cannot overstate how nice it was to just get it all done in one vist. Both doctor Lee and Haelee were friendly, included me in their conversation even when I could only respond with a thumbs up and they even went the extra mile of getting rid of calsification even though it wasn't originally in the plan. If you are looking for a Dentist, I highly recommend McKenzie Dental Center. I'm a new patient at Willamette Dental Group in Eugene, and my experience has been amazing so far…read more My first appointment included an exam, X-rays, a treatment plan, and a cleaning all in one visit. The staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient, and everything moved quickly without feeling rushed. I was then scheduled promptly for five fillings. At that appointment, Dr. Khunger and her staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and understanding of my dental anxiety. They offered different ways to help me feel more relaxed and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. They explained every step they were doing and checked on me often during the procedure. When I finished, I was so happy that scheduling was able to get me back in just two days later for more fillings. I absolutely love this dental office. This has been, by far, the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. Not only does my dental work look great, but the overall experience has been top-tier. I highly recommend Dr. Khunger and her team!

Think of him as an organic, vs. a conventional farmer. Instead of offering you the super cheap pesticide chemical-ridden tomato, he has gone out of his way to find the best quality organic tomato from an organic farm stand that tastes delicious and is actually good for you. There is a cost difference, but you are getting a different service. This one will support your health and immune system. And (as a recent transplant from Los Angeles), his pricing is really not that crazy at all. So, if you are sold in his method of practicing, you wait until you visit. The staff are incredibly friendly, you are made to feel super welcome. When you are in the chair, everything Is explained to you in words you can understand AND they go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. The facilities are super clean and spotless. (I have seen some awful dental practices in my time) and finally, when you are all done and ready to leave, I was offered the carnation in the picture. Now I cannot guarantee they'll give you a flower every time, but for a business to go above and beyond like that, they deserve a solid review explaining how much they care that you have a good experience. I am a paying customer with no affiliation to them. Go support them and your health of you and your family. You will not regret it.

My husband went to his appointment after me and they were completely different with him. Very pushy and aggressive about what he needed and he felt bullied. My husband is the sweetest and kindest human being and did not deserve to be like this. He came home upset and stressed out. And that's no way a person should ever feel after visiting the dentist. I called later to reschedule my cleaning as this was one of the reasons that I signed on with them in the first place. They were always able to get me in in reasonable time. They mentioned that they always have room for their clients. Instead, they told me that they didn't have another appointment for 6months, making it clear that they couldn't even put me on a cancellation list. My takeaways: Their prices are extremely high, double and triple the going rates. Insurance generally not accepted or rather insurance won't pay because of their exorbitant rates. They are very aggressive and pushy. They are not as accommodating as they claim to be. They use the terms holistic and wellness in their description, which is attractive to those of us looking for what would be a more natural approach, but they are inauthentic when it comes to what you really need. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this dentist office.

I have seen three RDH's here and my top favorite RDH'S were Anne and April. I really appreciated the cleanings I received from all three hygienists and they all did a great job. I appreciated Anne and April especially for their chair side manner, showing and explaining the consent forms, paying attention to details that were important to me, and not fluoride shaming me when I chose not to have the varnish put on my teeth. I also appreciated Anne and April giving me time to ask questions about how I could improve my home care. The dentist has been friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have said, Dr. Park has excellent dentistry skills and chair side manner. I was surprised at how painless even the initial shots of Novacaine were. Any and all questions I had were fully explained. Two additional features that make OFD a five star business are the facility design and the support staff. When you walk into the office, you walk into a very relaxing, homey, and light filled waiting area with an adjacent, easy to observe kiddie area. But the treatment area is where the thoughtful design really works. Unlike other dental offices with little rooms or cubicles, this treatment area has roomy cubicles with a very high ceiling and huge windows across the length of the building, letting in tons of light, but the outside landscaping provides privacy. The space naturally makes you feel very relaxed and non-stressed. Everyone seems to genuinely like each other and work together very well. No matter how good a doctor is, if his front office sucks, it will affect his business and piss me off, so I pay extra attention to the service I get in front office. I am happy to say that Dr. Park's front office is efficient, friendly, and well managed. His back office staff is equally professional! To me, oral health is critical to overall health and I consider my dentist as essential as a family physician. I am so happy to have lucked out and found OFD!

****FRAUD ALERT****…read more DO NOT USE THEM, I've never experienced worse service then i did here. They ask you to provide insurance info 3 days before visit or they will cancel. I sent mine, my daughter went in they tried to tell me every filling and root cancel she has ever had has failed and they need to redo all of it, phase 1 would be $8k, i said ok send me the breakdown, they did and we scheduled a few appointments, I was told my daughter needed a cleaning first they said they cleared the insurance it was 100% covered since she had one 7 months ago. They emailed me a breakdown of all the treatments which showed the cleaning was $0. I dropped my daughter off and once she was there they called demanding $140, i was confused and said its covered she said it wasn't so i said i have the email saying it is, she said oh i do see that and put me on hold and came back and said well the insurance doesn't cover this because she had it done 7 months ago so i need you to pay NOW. TOTAL bait and switch! I was fine to pay the $8K but I'm not paying a penny to a company who claims its free over and over then when they get you in the seat its oh we were wrong you owe now, not even a sorry! When i said i wasn't paying they stopped her exam in the middle of it and told her to go. I've never been so offended in my life! I've reported them for fraud!

Writing this review makes me sad because I have been a patient at Gentle Dental for nearly 15…read moreyears. Last year I went in for an exam but it had been a few years since my previous cleaning and my teeth were in rough shape. The dentist wanted to remove 7 of my teeth! I was shocked and declined the removal. Instead I sought out other alternatives. I had each quadrant of my mouth "scaled" - a deep cleaning procedure that I've had done before. Then I got a water pic and started to up my daily maintenance. When I went back for my 6 month exam this year I received high praise on how good my teeth were and nobody said a thing about those 7 teeth still needing to be removed. Thanks to MYSELF I managed to save and retain all of my teeth! Then, just recently I started experiencing some pain in my gums. It felt like one of my wisdom teeth was trying to grow sideways out of my gums. After a week it hadn't really gotten better so I scheduled a short appointment just to have it checked out. The hygienist took an x-ray and then the dentist came in. He took a quick look and told me that it's not infected, just a small cut in my gums most likely from eating something sharp. He said it's healing fine and I don't need antibiotics. He then shocked me when he said "I recommend removing the wisdom tooth." Then the next thing I knew he was numbing my gums and preparing a shot. That's when I freaked out!!! I was on my lunch break and told him I needed to get back to work. The hygienist said "oh that's fine, you can go back to work." These people clearly do not get to know their patients. First of all, I immediately started to sweat and shake and panic and felt light-headed. I had so many questions, and even if I did decide to have my tooth removed I would need anxiety medication beforehand, someone to accompany me AND to drive me home afterwards, pre-purchased foods at home to eat while my gums healed, and definitely time off from work! I'm also a smoker, so knowing that I wouldn't be able to smoke after having a tooth removed I would need to mentally prepare and plan ahead for that. These people are so quick to jump to "we need to remove your teeth!" Beware! They didn't give me any time to think, just react, and my reaction was to leave. Perhaps if they had sat down calmly and gave me some information to help me understand WHY they thought the tooth should come out then I could at least understand my options, but I was aghast when they didn't even give me any post-surgery instructions beforehand, what to expect, etc. They didn't even give me any time to register what was about to happen. If you have dental anxiety like I do I DO NOT recommend this place. I DO however recommend taking their advice with a grain of salt, stand up for yourself and don't let them pressure you into unnecessary tooth extractions!
