I'm only knocking this ride because the line is always one of the longest in Fantasyland. I really wish they found a way to get a higher rider rate, but I also understand that that's easier said than done. I highly recommend hitting this ride first thing in the morning if you want to go on it. That's your best bet for a 'short line.' The line only gets longer as the day goes on. To the point where it often affects the flow of traffic through the land. But once you're on the ride, this one is an absolute delight. I love the feeling of flying. It's a really unique one for rides like this. They start you off immediately with flying over a nighttime London which always sends shivers down my spine. It's just so breathtaking. You're then whisked away through a quick run through Neverland before returning back home. It's a quick ride, but an absolute joy of one that will have kids and adults alight delighted. It's really a ride everyone should experience at least once in their life. Honestly, if it wasn't for the horrendous line, I would hit this ride up on every trip to the park. read more

This is the most popular ride in all of Fantasyland. How you can tell is by the wait time which tends to always be half an hour or more. Whether you are an adult or a child, this ride is magical in the sense that you are "flying" through the movie. The illusion of flying over a London town and Neverland is quite magical. I try to ride Peter Pan every time I come to the park but sometimes the wait can get pretty long. In terms of the character rides this ranks in the top three for Anaheim, with the other two being Roger Rabbit and Monsters Inc (in DCA) are my favorite movie rides in the park. read more

Keep an eye out for an early morning jump on for this ride or late evening. The cue is almost a standard 30-40 mins. It is just how the ride rolls with the que. Surprised this had a long wait almost the entire time I was in the park, like 40 minutes wait time. It's a fun old-school ride and the visual aspect of flying over London and then through Neverland is so creative. The only downside is the ride is sooooo short. This ride is a cult favorite and I can see why! To start off with, if the line is under a 40 minute wait, go jump in. Most of the early entry people come here first so the line can get long quickly. You get on a pirate ship that can seat up to four people (if there are small children) and you sore over Neverland. This is a contrast to other rides where your view is from ground level. 5 stars If you like classic things, this is one classic ride you can't miss! Lines are always long, but if the wait time is less than 25 minutes, you got lucky. Before you get in this long line, grab a cup of coffee and/or snack and enjoy the chaos. The ride itself is cute and sweet. First time on this ride, despite having come here several times in the past. It's a lovely ride, but definitely old and not as smooth as it could be. One of the best classic rides in all of Disneyland but definitely needs a touch-up. The wait for this ride is insane. Either come here first thing when the park opens, but even on a private event night the wait is still about 45 minutes!! However, this ride is one of the most well themed dark rides and absolutely beautiful even if it's short-lasting (about 2.5 minutes long). On our last visit, the boat we sat in was not well-oiled. It was very jerky through the entire ride and nearly catapulted us off of it when it stopped at the very end. It was so abrupt that it caught us by surprise. Nonetheless, still one of the best rides in all of Disneyland. Absolutely worth a visit if you've never been on it! read more

My favorite ride! I love Peter Pan's Flight in Fantasyland in Disneyland! There is not a lightening lane pass unfortunately. Your best bet is to get there early enough so the wait isn't too long, we got lucky and only waited 30 minutes on a week day. You get to ride on a pirate ship while you enter the the dark attraction that gives you the sensation that you are flying over the city on some parts of the ride. This ride is the most popular one inside the castle because it always have a long line. When we first tried to get in line for this ride, I saw that the wait was 50 minutes so I decided to go on the other rides inside the castle first and then come back. When we came back the wait was about 35 minutes so it wasn't as bad as before. Once you're on the ride, you'll see why it's very popular. It make it seem like you're flying around London and Neverland. The ride only last at most 3 minutes but it will be a fun ride for the kids. read more

The wait time for Peter Pan's Flight is similar to the wait time at The Simpsons (Universal Studios). Be prepared to wait between 40 mins to an hour (or more) unless you beeline it straight to Fantasyland at rope drop. Also, make sure you have water, hat and/or sunglasses as well as a mini fan to keep you cool and hydrated while waiting in the first two outer rows on hot/warm days. It gets a little cooler as you near the lines inside and definitely AC inside once you ride your colorful "galleon" [ship] and start flying. Located in Fantasyland across from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Pinocchio' Daring Journey. It's a cute and short ride, zipping through the "nighttime sky of London," with the help of Tinkerbell's pixie dust. Then it's off to Never Neverland with Peter Pan, Wendy, John and Michael. You'll also see the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, Smee and Tiger Lily. It's definitely a cute childhood movie refresher while cooling down from the hot/warm weather, heheh! They've revamped this ride, it's darling, one of my favorites in fantasy land. Now worth the line wait.

I can see why this is one of the most popular rides at Disneyland, despite being one of the many dark rides in Fantasyland. The lines for this ride can easily span 40 minutes to over an hour. It's a popular ride! The "ships" can only carry one "row" of people , so I can see where the delay comes from. Definitely more unique than the other dark rides in a sense where there is no track underneath you and look over London and iconic scenes from the Peter Pan movie. It's really cool to zoom around and even though it feels like you're going down a slope quickly, the ride does brake and slow down . So there's a "slight" feeling of exhilaration there. Definitely worth it if it's not super, super crowded, if you love the movie, or during the last couple minutes the parks are open, so you can for sure be cycled through. read more

Too bad this 2 minute 20 second ride usually has the longest lines of any dark rides in Fantasyland because it always makes me happy. One of the park's original opening day attractions, people didn't get that *you* were supposed to be Peter Pan. They were confused because they could not find Peter Pan himself in the ride. Talk about being a lost boy. That original version only had Hook, Smee, Tick-Tock, and a captive Tiger Lily. In 1983, the ride copied elements of the 1971 Disney World version, adding an audio-animatronic Pan, Darling kids, Lost Boys, Native Americans, and mermaids plus the pirate ship duel. Guests now rode miniature ships, suspended by rail, like no other ride in the park (except Skyway). But it always had the best element: a forced perspective that allows aerial views 17 feet above Neverland and a moonlit London skyline. If you look closely, you can see St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, the Thames River, Benny Hill, and Uncle Ernie. Well, at least his ashes. Note: Disneyland will ban you from the park and turn you over to Anaheim PD for the misdemeanor violation of scattering human ashes on private property, so don't do it. Being in mourning won't get you, well, off the Hook. By the way, they also have Peter Pan rides in the Fantasyland areas of Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland. They all have unique ride experiences. Disney World has Omnimover-style ramps for faster traffic, an interactive, air-conditioned queue, and a larger scale. Disneyland Paris is 40 seconds longer with a larger scale (they considered having Peter Pan surrender). The Shanghai one (2016) is a little different in that you can stop and change your speed, there's a "splashdown" into Skull Rock, and Nana is noticeably more worried that she may be eaten. read more
