Food is pretty typical amusement park pricing, and there's also a Starbucks and ice cream. Parking is free, which is a big plus. They also have picnic tables outside the entrance, and I believe the hand stamp they give you allows for same-day re-entry if you want to step out and come back. It felt like you were truly in the Wild West. I loved buying souvenirs in the shops. They have a large Knott's Berry Farm official restaurant there as well. The rides are all very unique which was nice. A good variety: there are big roller coasters, fun car/buggy rides, tall drop rides, 3-D rides, etc. They also had tons of great candy stores too. As a sugar lover myself, I throughly enjoyed the candy bins & boysenberry snacks. Overall, a very fun place to spend the day. I stayed all day & can't wait to return again.

Reviewing for 2026 Knotts Scary Farm and the Boo-fet…read more First, the good: the scare actors were very much into their jobs. A ton of them were all over the park and each matched with their themed zone. The mazes were creative and the new Unearthed and Inked were visually stunning. Knotts always goes all out for Halloween with the decor and they nailed yet again. However, this is a 1-star review, so let's get to the bad. To start, their bag policy was very unclear. My bag was slightly larger than the allowed cell-phone size. Security sent me over to the lockers... and the lockers were unavailable. They open for use with the park, and I was there about 2 hours early for the Boo-fet. There were no exceptions for us, despite others entering the park with diaper bags. Back to the car it was. Next, the Boo-fet. The best part of the Boo-fet was the early entry. That made it all worth it, though you can buy early entry without doing the food. Speaking of the food, it was mostly not good. Probably nothing was cooked onsite or it was mainly Costco food heated up. Chatting with the scare actors was fun and entertaining, so that was one positive plus the early entry. Early access to the mazes was worth it. We got through four before the park opened and was totally mobbed. That's my next issue - the event was extremely oversold by several thousand people. Allegedly Knotts has a policy that teens must be accompanied by adults. I'm not sure what the required ratio is but if I had to guess by park demographics, there was maybe one 25+ adult for every 15 or so teenagers. The teens cut the lines and didn't pay attention when told they couldn't bring hats and bags on a rollercoaster. The ride lines were backed up largely due to dumb kids arguing with the attendants about riding an 80 mph coaster with their light up devil horns staying on. It was painful to watch/listen to. Teens also didn't seem able to handle the scare actors or mazes. Maybe everyone was pre-gaming with gummies or shrooms - I'm not here to judge - but many would scream bloody murder at every jump scare in a maze, or panic and bolt into other park goers. Getting your ankles kicked or heals stepped on by manic teens really took the fun out of the event. Next of course was the rides and attractions. I guess we not know why they're called Knotts. The lines will wrap up in the most creative knots of people management I've ever seen. Knotts will put up estimates wait times on signs outside of rides and then basically hide the actual line in a holding area or under the ride. Essentially it was false advertising. We got in line for the Hang Time rollercoaster with a 15 minute wait posted outside and stood in line for over 40 minutes. When we were finally on deck to ride, a pair of teens were allowed to take off their light up horns and bags, put them aside, and take our spot on the coaster. From the announcements, they should have been kicked off the ride and sent back to the lockers. The coaster ended up delayed by about 90 seconds, which a long time when the changeup should take no more than 30 seconds and the ride itself is about 25 seconds. We got our ride on Hang Time and it was great, one of the more fun rollercoasters I've been on. The vertical climb and hesitation at the top were incredible. So that's another positive. We went from Hang Time over to Xcelerator. Wait time was estimated to be 30 minutes. We stood in line for an hour and were so close to getting on the ride when... I guess it broke down. I have no idea, but later the lights were off and it was blocked off. Knotts staff didn't communicate at all. We were probably 3rd in line for the ride when it stopped and wouldn't move. People started leaving the line, us included, as sticking around for a broken coaster seemed crazy. But what a waste of time! We joined the line expecting no more than 30-40 minutes, stood there for an hour, and didn't get to ride at all. If you absolutely must experience Knotts, it seems the best/only way to do it now is the fast lane pass. It's extremely expensive and nearly doubles the admission price. So ultimately it's all about that cash. Knotts will oversell an event, not enforce their own rules, and create a frustrating night for everyone unwilling to shell out for extra perks. Not recommended at all.

Are the lines crazy? Also yes. Did we enjoy the food? Well this time around we went to eat at a spot we haven't really eaten at until now, Tiana's Palace. The gumbo with their assortment of hot sauces and cornbread was surprisingly good. The mobile ordering is so convenient too. Also back to the subject of the lines. Is cool that they have the lightning passes and all for an extra fee but boy they are getting greedy by adding a higher tier of lightning passes that is used for specific rides. That level of greed is getting to be a bit much. I'm actually a bit pressed to give them a 3/5 but my niece enjoyed it so 4/5 it is. With so many of the rides weren't closed and that they still did the fireworks though. No fireworks show and parade during the lead up to Halloween I guess.

Parking, entry gates, food lines, restrooms, souvenirs, rides and attractions, etc.- very long lines for everything regardless of the day and time you plan your visit. This park is always EXTREMELY crowded, and I get it; many people LOVE anything and everything Disney-related, including my own immediate family. #Respect Disneyland does its best to control crowd sizes, and I applaud their efforts. It is awesome that people are truly passionate about something they enjoy and love. In my case, I guess I love torture, as I have visited the park three times in the past two months, but I do it because my family loves the park and I enjoy family time. The park itself is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and a combination of old-school, as many of the original rides and displays function properly to this day, as well as the newest rides and attractions using modern technology. I have a strong feeling that we will be visiting the park at least one more time before the end of this year in time to experience the Christmas season at the, "Happiest Place on Earth"

The lighting is cool and the sounds and the displays are interesting. Overall it's good to see at least one time in my opinion but do plan accordingly.

Character meet-ups are also in different spots. Schedule is posted in the app. We got to meet Ironman, Spiderman, Black Panther, Captain America, and and Dr. Strange. Though a lot of the rides had long lines, the Lightning Lane pass really helped to cut down wait time to under 10 minutes for most rides. We also got all our photos for free with lightning lane purchase. Most of the park was clean and well-maintained. All cast members were friendly. Lots of dining and shopping were available around the entrance section. Parking is the same as Disneyland, and both parks' entrances face each other. Really easy for park hoppers.

My frustration was with the way management handled changes to party packages. I booked and prepaid for my son's birthday party in June (for a July party) during a promotion. Before the party, I even called the party hotline twice to go over the details of my reservation, and at no point was I told that the attraction tiers had changed or that there would be optional upgrades available. When we checked in with seven excited kids ready to play, I was told I would need to pay additional fees as their packages had changed. Mind you, I had already paid the $200 for the party in June. I had to pay $35 for an extra kid because the new package included 5, not 6 kids. In addition, I had to pay an additional $9 per child if I wanted everyone to have access to the attractions they wanted to use. That wasn't the time to be making an unexpected spending decision, and realistically I wasn't going to tell a group of kids that some of them couldn't participate. (I was prepared to pay for one extra kid and an extra pizza). We ended up paying $360 instead of the $260 I had budgeted. To add to the confusion, I also didn't receive the balloons that were included with my party package. After reaching out to management, they explained that the attraction tiers had changed after I booked and clarified how the pricing worked. While I still think the communication leading up to the event could have been much better, I do appreciate that they took the time to respond, acknowledged that the communication wasn't clear, and offered two complimentary Unlimited Play passes and a large pizza as a goodwill gesture. My suggestion to Urban Air would be simple: if party packages change after customers have already booked, proactively notify them before their event. It would avoid confusion, unexpected charges at check-in, and allow parents to make informed decisions before arriving with a group of excited kids. What would be even better is that when you book a package, you are locked into that price and details instead of it changing. I would be really hesitant to book another party here because I wouldn't know what price I would ultimately be paying day of. Overall, the kids had a blast, and we'd likely return to play. I just hope the communication around birthday parties improves, because that's what took away from an otherwise fun celebration.
