Vrooom vroooom! It's Autopia, where nostalgia runs on tiny gas engines and the scent of childhood is unleaded and unmistakable. Yeah, yeah, it's "just" miniature cars on a track, but don't knock it till you've rumbled (okay, bounced mercilessly and uncomfortably) through those scenic winding roads under that cute little bridge, surrounded by waving robots in scenes of the future and classic Disneyland charm. I rode this as a kid and now, even as a full-grown adult (who probably should've stretched before getting in and out of this lowrider), I still love it. Bottom line: it's worth the inevitable back pain, LOL. The cars are adorable. All brightly painted (unless you don't luck out and get the plain black one) with a retro-futuristic vibe that just screams Disney circa 1950s. Plus, there's a surprising amount to see along the track, especially compared to its Florida cousin. Disney World features a "race" theme while Disneyland has a futuristic "country" drive vibe. Sorry, Florida, but California wins this one. Is it a smooth ride? Absolutely not. Is it cramped? Oh yes. Tall people, you've been warned, this ride wasn't built with your knees in mind. Getting in and out feels like a flexibility test no one signed up for. I get all sorts of aches and pains when I ride this attraction but I still think it's worth it. One of my fave things about this ride is the gas smell. I know I'm a weirdo, but it's so strong but weirdly great. It brings me right back to my childhood. My least fave thing about the ride is the queue area. It's in full sun with zero shade, so you will bake on sunny, hot days. Make sure you wear sunscreen, or wait to ride it in the evenings (or when the line is shorter). The ride is silly, outdated, a little uncomfortable, yet I'll gladly ride it every time I'm here. Autopia forever!!!!!!!!

We walked over to Autopia while waiting for our booked time for FastPass ride to pass some time! It was a cute little ride! You get to drive these mini Honda cars on a track but it was a bit lackluster. Cannot accelerate and they basically set the speed for all the cars, no matter how hard you step on the pedal lol. I get it though since it is meant for all ages. I remember this kind of ride was one that I always needed to hit up, as a kid!

This ride is solid. I think I liked this ride more when I was a kid and went on it with my dad. Probably because I thought it was cool to drive. I'm not going to hate on the ride, because I can see why other people might love it and maybe I'm just not the target audience, but I think they probably need a refresh since it is in Tomorrowland. Maybe electric or any non-gas type of vehicle? You can definitely smell the gas/petrol in the air the entire time. On my last visit, I was behind two very young kids...my gut had a bad feeling, haha. I think usually any kid at that age (let alone two) is accompanied by an adult but they just went on anyway...sure enough, they were stopping a bunch of times while on the ride where I had to brake pretty hard not to hit them. I honestly didn't think it was a big deal but was worried the person behind me was going to slam into me sooner or later and jar my neck.

Knowing this is more of a kiddie ride, you can curb your expectations this is a F1 go kart racing track haha. Simple safe slow speed to leisurely cruise mini go karts over a set track to avoid potential disasters. Also spring loaded bumpers to minimize injury when some patrons decide to play bumper cars. Weird the pedal is in the middle at first but makes sense so parents can help kids drive it around the track! They have photobooth on the exit side for memories!

A vintage ride that still has that appeal. Line moves quickly the course is same as always. Cast members are super friendly. Super clean and fun.

This ride is a classic and will always have a place in my heart. Usually the line is not to bad for this one and if you purchased the lighting lane for the day this one is included so makes it even faster. Honestly though the line never seems long maybe 30 minutes if that for stand by. Not sure if kids just don't like coming on this one anymore or if the hype just isn't there anymore but for me I still try to ride every visit. Its pretty basic ride where you drive a go cart type Honda throughout different areas. You just push the gas and are on your way. Just be sure to keep it in line because it is rough if you hit the side. Also be sure not to hit the car in front of you. One thing I will say is it does smell like fumes or gasoline. I guess its not so bad during this short ride but I wonder if its bad for the workers. Overall its a classic and I'm sure not very long from now this will be gone and replaced with something newer and better but while its still here I will still be riding it.

This classic ride always warms my heart every time I'm on it. I loved it as a kid, and now my own children enjoy it just as much. It's more of a gentle cruise than a thrill ride, slow paced, relaxing, and full of charm. I had never experienced it at night before, and I have to say, I think I actually prefer it that way. The scenery feels even more magical after dark, and the whole experience is just more peaceful. It's one of those timeless rides I'll always love.

Autopia race cars sponsored by Honda. How do I know you can see the Honda emblem on the hood. Letting my nephew take the wheel and I'm just a passenger.

A must! When you go to Disneyland. The lines can get very long, prepare yourselves lol. It's a very fun ride. Few years back, the fake license was free but now they cost $8. Booooo... but they have to make their money somehow.

The fastest drive in Tomorrowland! Drive your own car in Tomorrowland and get your own drivers license as you exit the ride! Fun fun fun!

Fun ride to gage what type of driver that your kids will be someday. This is one of those rides at Disneyland that I will jump on occasionally if the lines aren't too long. Autopia is located in Tomorrowland and is one of the original attractions that opened with Disneyland in 1955. It has gone through many changes over the years. Even though you can use the steering wheel to move the car a little bit, a center rail that guides the car along the track does all the work for you. In my teenage years, I used to get in trouble a lot for bumping into the car in front of me. Younger kids need to have an adult with them because they cannot reach the gas pedal. As you approach Autopia, you can smell the gas fumes from the cars. It can be a bit nauseating, but not so bad once you start moving in your car. You get to drive under the Disneyland Monorail track as you ride around in your car. Autopia has been sponsored by companies like Chevron and Honda over the years. There is a 1967-era Corvette Stingray-style Autopia car on display at the Disneyland Hotel if you want to see one of the original cars from the early days.

Fun ride where you simulate driving along a race track. Lots of cars so the line moves decently. The track is a good length for the wait as well. There's some variety to the car styles. Anyone can drive as the car follows a track loosely. The kids get to mess around and you can sit back and just ride along if you have a younger one.

I was able to get discounted tickets through my dad through the navy base. I also upgraded the tickets to a fast pass to help save on some time. Luckily, my kids have been to Anaheim and were very strategic with our visit. We were able to hit 11 rides in one day and eat multiple Disney food treats during the day! The food items we tried - In Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo: Surabat Greens with Roasted Tip Yip (Chicken Salad) - Actually good good! Surabat Noodles with Crispy Marinared Eopie (Pork Noodles) - a little oily but otherwise good Fried Chicken Baos- Okay but of course overpriced Vinitian Vanilla Mousse - Pretty dessert, but just okay tasting. Too much fondant for me. Cold Brew Black Caf - Loved the Cocoa Puffs floating on top! In Edelweiss Snacks - Fantasyland Garlic Cheese Brat - This was pretty good! The pretzel bun was a little chewy though Croissant Cookie - Basically a crispy, flat pastry. Tiramisu Cold Brew - Not sweet at all and doesn't taste like tiramisu. Milk Stand Blue Milk - Just okay, wouldn't get it again. Polystarch Puffbread - It's way smaller than depicted on the picture. It was like pan dulce and a croissant had a baby lol. This was actually pretty tasty. Corn dog at the Little Red Wagon - This hand dipped corn dog was delicious! Would get it again. Loved the Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance rides. Didn't get to ride Tiana's ride since the wait was long and we used the fast pass for other rides. Lines didn't exceed two hours, which I was thankful for. Food lines moved quickly despite the lines looking kinda long. We did lose an item during our trip but the item was found two days after we submitted the claim. They are able to mail the item, free of charge! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the park. Weather was perfect! Thankfully it didn't rain while we were there.

My first visit was back in February, where I got to experience the Lunar New Year celebration for the first time. The food offerings during the festival were honestly a bit of a letdown overall, although the pho sandwich was definitely the standout item for me. Even with the food being underwhelming, I really loved seeing my culture represented throughout the park and thought Disney did a great job with the decorations and entertainment. The second visit was in March during spring break, and the crowds were honestly pretty crazy. After getting off the tram, it took about 45 minutes just to get into the park, so I definitely would not recommend going during spring break if you can avoid it. I also got to experience the Food & Wine Festival for the first time during this visit. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the festival food or drinks. Most of the portions felt really small for the price, and a lot of the menu items just weren't really to my liking. My last visit was in April, and I was a little nervous going since it also happened to be Nurses Day. I was excited to experience the park during Nurses Day festivities, but wasn't sure how much it would impact the lines and wait times. I was a little disappointed that the Nurses Day pins were not ready for purchase that day though. Between the three visits, I used both the Mickey & Friends and Pixar parking structures, and I would highly recommend Pixar over Mickey & Friends. I honestly wish I had used Pixar from the beginning, but it's definitely something I'll keep in mind for next time. Overall, the 3-day pass was definitely worth it. Each visit I was able to park hop between both parks, go on plenty of rides, and try different foods and drinks throughout the parks. Some menu items were definitely better than others, but I always appreciate Disney trying new things and finding ways to make each visit feel unique and special.

I also suggest attaching your credit card to your wristband for convenience. We really enjoyed the pizza place onsite. We checked in on a Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to do it all in three hours. The kids loved the bunk bed, and my only complaint about our room is that the tub faucet leaked. The next day, we packed a bag with a change of clothes that we fit into a small locker for $12, and went back into the waterpark for a couple more hours. I recommend packing travel toiletries for a quick shower before leaving. They have plenty of showers, changing rooms, and a swimsuit dryer, but no toiletries in the waterpark bathrooms. Waterpark towels are provided and must be checked out and in or you'll be charged, so don't lose them. There's a water bottle refill station in the waterpark near the bathrooms. We didn't try many of the activities offered except for the arcade that offered packages starting at $35. Lastly, be sure to pay for parking before you leave. That was also $35. All in all, we got a deal on the room but spent more on food, drinks, games, and parking combined. My kids are 5 and 10, and they were able to go on just about everything that was open.
