Thought it might just be me but while waiting for my return to be processed (side note that returns appear to be deeply offensive to them) I had the pleasure of watching them interact unpleasantly with many other customers. They earned the 2nd star for consistency - at least they're rude to everybody...

Even though I have no kiddies, I find myself being lured into this store every time I visit Merrick Park and I always seem to come up with a great excuse to buy a gift... They have the latest trends for kids clothing and are perfect for matching clothes if you have multiple kids and want to dress them similar. I absolutely love this store for kids clothes. The service of course is top notch and many would assume it's cause you're paying top dollar...but who wouldn't when you're buying a lil' yellow polka dot bikini with shades for your 4 year old? or how about a strawberry inspired romper with cute little accents...? The look on your gift recipients face when they see a "Janie and Jack" gift box is always a good indicator you've won them over cause anyone who knows...knows that the store is exquisite in every sense. Totally worth it for me!

It was popular with tourists and locals until a decline in the 2000's due to more attractive competition in the area. After being sold several times it underwent a major renovation by Federal Realty and partners. The north wing of the mall was demolished to make way for offices. The Cheesecake Factory, Fat Tuesday and Victoria's Secret were replaced with independent boutiques, offices, and community spaces to better fit in with Coconut Grove's bohemian urban village. Other features added included a large open-air plaza, foliage, a mini waterfall, trees and a modern design intended to blend in with the surrounding Coconut Grove neighborhood. I came to Coconut Grove to attend the King Mango Strut Festival and while standing on the sidewalk in front of CocoWalk I saw a beehive of activity. I hadn't been here in years and I was surprised to see how nice it is. After the parade I stopped in to check it out and left impressed wit hthe changes that have been made. Cinepolis, the movie theater has stood the test of time and it is now joined by 3D Botanico Gin & Cookhouse, Brows, Blue Mercury, Chase, Chop, Coco Cigars, Edward Beiner, El Bagel, Europann-USA, Eva, FP Movement, Gas Bijoux, Infinity, Misterpi, Montce, Narbona, Planta Queen, Skinlab by Barba, sportive, Sushi Garage, Sweetgreen, School of Rock, The Spot Barbershop, and The Oyster Bar. In addition to beauty services, classes, dining, and shopping they also offer events in the courtyard like story time, music, and Pilates. After the parade I enjoyed an ice cream cone from Salt and Straw in the tropical, open-air courtyard. The lush landscaping, outdoor seating, and relaxed urban-village feel make this pleasant place in the Grove to hang out and pass time. If there is one large drawback to CocoWalk it would be that finding affordable parking in the Grove is always a challenge.
