We went in search of Ski clothing and found a wide selection of brand name clothing lightly used at a very reasonable price. This place is an amazing place to get good quality items and high end brands for amazing discounts. The staff have always being very nice to me and respectful. I don't get offended if a item is not taken because rules are rules and at the end things are donated and that gives me peace of mind. I never have a problem when communication for drop off consignment. They really will work with you if your schedule is a little different. Be mindful this is also a business and unfortunately things can't be given almost free. I do love doing business with them. And I will continue supporting this location. Sometimes I have to go with my son and he is a toddler they are so understanding that he doesn't stop moving I try to stop him and control him but sometimes is so hard. They are so sweet and caring to him and me. Communication is key. Kindness and a smile can go a long way. read more

The hours of operation are horrible. Don't bother trying to consign here unless you are a stay-at-home-parent. Drop-offs are only allowed between 11 and 5 on weekdays and you have to call at 11 on the dot (if they answer the phone) to try to get a drop-off slot. I like buying clothing for my children here (can shop, but not drop on Saturdays) , but I guess my high end stuff will end up donated. read more

I regret consigning with this business. Buncha unprofessional people, who won't let you have your money. Back in September I requested my check to be mailed to me - no response. Tried calling them - their phones were down. Had to drive there in November - no check available for me - "sorry our phones are down, we will mail your check to you"... three weeks later - nothing. Called again, this time phone worked, only to hear some rude lady saying "it's weird you don't have your check I'm printing them all day long" and "come here yourself and pick it up, it's ONLY $72, I'm not gonna mail it". I stumbled upon The Children's Exchange unexpectedly one day last week. Worth driving around the corner and finding a spot to park! The store is located in a cute little strip of stores around the corner from that Sunset Place mall. The space is bright and clean with clothes separated by gender on either side of the aisle. Everything is clean, and items are all trendy/contemporary. In addition to clothing, you'll find various necessities such as strollers and diaper bags. Additionally up front there are books and great accessories. The owner CeeCee is friendly, warm and animated and makes creating an account quick and easy. In one fell swoop I sold two fantastic pairs of my Rock Star baby's sneakers while also picking up two great books for him and a hip pair of jeans for an infant buddy! Be careful dropping off your clothes for consignment here. I dropped of 5 pairs of barely used shoes, after 1 month when I went to check they claimed two pairs of adidas worth $50 that Ny child only wore once or two times were "donated" because they were too old to sell. The Children's Exchange has mid to high end clothing and products for children at a fraction of the price that you'd pay at retail. While everything is technically second-hand, some of it is still in the original packaging and never used. Given that some of this stuff will only be used a few times or for a short period, it's a pretty good deal. Aside from just clothing, they also carry toys, strollers, baby slings and carriers, books, infant care items, blankets, and roller skates. They have items intended for everything from newborns to pre-teens. For Miamians, I think the cold-weather clothing might be particularly useful because buying snow boots and jackets for a child that will outgrow the items before next year's trip up North would otherwise be unnecessarily costly. You can also bring in your own items and they will try to sell them for you and give you a cut of the sale. You can then take a check if your balance is over a certain amount, or use your store credit there. They'll only accept clean items in good condition, and items that meet certain standards. The drawbacks: the store is a bit small and crowded, so it's not ADA accessible and some of the items are located in places you wouldn't think. You have to spend some time and look around to find things sometimes. read more

This place was good while it lasted. For years I took items there and made some money, not over the top, but enough that I could go and use it to get my kids other clothing items. After Covid, they've made quite a few changes, their hours are shorter, they don't have as much clothing options, before the racks had plenty of clothes at semi-decent prices. Now, the actual owners are working the store and not accepting as much clothes; less on the racks means price hike on clothes. Not to mention, I was extremely bothered listening to one of the owners on the phone talking bad and criticizing how some consigners bring bigger bags and she just wants to accept small, Publix/target size bags. That was very unprofessional of her considering they are in business because of the items people take to them!!! After witnessing that, I decided I will not be taking our clothes there nor shopping there anymore. read more

Amazing kids clothes section. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We all need to do more. This is such an easy way. They have toys, cribs, strollers, car seats, books, dvds and yada, yada, yada. But there clothes section is sick. Brand new, some with tags still on. I mean, look at the surrounding neighborhood. These children simply had more outfits then they could wear. If you're a smart and thrifty mommy you'll shop here! This store is a quaint high end children's consignment store located near Sunset Place. They've got great baby gear items and tons of brand name children's apparel in excellent condition for an even more excellent price. The first two weeks of every month they have a 50% off sale for items with a specific color tag. That's when I like to go, unless they receive a specific item I've been put on a wait list for. :) The wait list option is very beneficial if you're on the hunt for a specific item. From what I've experienced, they call you right when the item comes in if you're first on the list. (love and appreciate this so much!) If you follow their FB page they update it weekly with pictures and prices of new items that have arrived in store. I highly recommend shopping here on a monthly basis for great deals on apparel! Everything is in new to like new condition. Everyone knows how fast things are outgrown by kids, so consignment stores make complete sense for moms. As a buyer and a new mommy I love shopping at these types of stores not only because you save a ton of money but because it's the smart thing to do. Great prices on good quality used clothing. Definitely going back. One tip: Leave the baby and stroller at home. It is very hard to get into the store and maneuver around with a stroller, the entire boys section is up a few steps (no ramp) and there is no changing table in the bathroom (had to go back to the car halfway through shopping). read more

This is a lovely consignment store! Great prices and selection. It is amazing how they actually seem to have a fill time, (and AMAZINGLY sweet and helpful), little lady named Marta who keeps everything in order...Marta is the pearl of their staff. I did not give this place 5 stars because of the rest of the staff. I have been in three times and after the first visit, have dreaded being rung up because I don't know what is behind the counter. The rest of the staff seem to have an attitude of sorts. It's like they work at a consignment store but think they are personal shoppers at Saks! When it comes to newborn to infant clothing this place is way over priced. I can't comment on the other items because I quickly left once I saw their pricing. I was dumbfounded by their pricing as with places like H&M and Zara offering inexpensive cute baby clothes you can buy new items for what they are selling used clothing for. I did not see a single newborn onesie under $7, and I am not talking about designer brands either. All brands were pretty basic. The rack was so jam packed with clothes I could not even slide clothing over to look at individual pieces. With this much inventory you would think they would be motivated to get things sold but no, of the 3 consignment stores I visited this was the only one that had no sale or tag discount going on. Also, no one acknowledged me or greeted me when I came in. The 2 other consignments i visited had same items for $2-3 and many were 50% off so save your $ and go elsewhere. Overall, not a good experience and if you are willing to buy at a consignment it's because you are looking for good prices. This place hasn't seemed to get that concept. read more

I was told by a friend to check out this place because I have a whole bunch of stuff for my baby that I need to get rid of. And she told me that this is a great place to come to sell your stuff. I'll keep in mind this is not a place you come with a bag full of stuff and then handed over to them. They are very selective on what they will take in and I actually like that. They won't take anything dirty or used up. It has to be in like new condition. As well the things they sell are the same. They are a little pricey in my opinion but this mainly comes to clothing.
