A lovely and patient person. She made sure we had the right fit for his chubby feet . We bought three pairs of shoes and they are so cute . I didn't buy clothes because has so much and he will be needing winter clothing and they were in transition. Unfortunately we do not live in Miami so I can't shop there all the time but I do go about once a year . I will definitely be going back . I used to shop there for my daughter when she was little - now it's her baby's turn .

Thought it might just be me but while waiting for my return to be processed (side note that returns appear to be deeply offensive to them) I had the pleasure of watching them interact unpleasantly with many other customers. Even though I have no kiddies, I find myself being lured into this store every time I visit Merrick Park and I always seem to come up with a great excuse to buy a gift... They have the latest trends for kids clothing and are perfect for matching clothes if you have multiple kids and want to dress them similar. I absolutely love this store for kids clothes. The service of course is top notch and many would assume it's cause you're paying top dollar...but who wouldn't when you're buying a lil' yellow polka dot bikini with shades for your 4 year old? or how about a strawberry inspired romper with cute little accents...? The look on your gift recipients face when they see a "Janie and Jack" gift box is always a good indicator you've won them over cause anyone who knows...knows that the store is exquisite in every sense. Totally worth it for me!

The Children's Exchange has mid to high end clothing and products for children at a fraction of the…read moreprice that you'd pay at retail. While everything is technically second-hand, some of it is still in the original packaging and never used. Given that some of this stuff will only be used a few times or for a short period, it's a pretty good deal. Aside from just clothing, they also carry toys, strollers, baby slings and carriers, books, infant care items, blankets, and roller skates. They have items intended for everything from newborns to pre-teens. For Miamians, I think the cold-weather clothing might be particularly useful because buying snow boots and jackets for a child that will outgrow the items before next year's trip up North would otherwise be unnecessarily costly. You can also bring in your own items and they will try to sell them for you and give you a cut of the sale. You can then take a check if your balance is over a certain amount, or use your store credit there. They'll only accept clean items in good condition, and items that meet certain standards. The drawbacks: the store is a bit small and crowded, so it's not ADA accessible and some of the items are located in places you wouldn't think. You have to spend some time and look around to find things sometimes.

We went in search of Ski clothing and found a wide selection of brand name clothing lightly used at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for lightly used quality clothing. The store has two fitting rooms so the kids can try on. The employees were available to answer questions which was good too.
