Dear Again and Again,…read more I've stopped in on a couple of occasions just to peruse the store. There's a lot of interesting items, vintage finds and the like. I've seen really neat clothing items that reminded me of something straight out of the 70s and clothes that I wish I would have considered picking up. The store is really filled top to bottom with stuff and one has to be very extra careful not to accidentally bump into anything, due to the tight proximity of the items. I mean, where I walked I was inches from knocking something over! Scary. I would hate to be responsible for taking down half the store... One thing that has turned me off on my visits has been the price. I expected to find more reasonably priced items and instead found everything to be a bit on the expensive side. Consignment stores are a nice way of saying thrift stores, but it seems that perhaps you don't consider yourself to be in that category. Which hey, is totally your prerogative, but I think you should consider the area and the clientele. I'm sure I'll find myself in here again, looking around to see what interesting thing I can find. Respectfully, SabrinaAnna*

The pricing strategy deployed by Again and Again is but one part of their unsavory business model…read more Yes, they allow you to leave your items there and declare your asking price. Our asking price was $300. Second, the minute you walk out they mark it up as you would expect any retailer to do. I sent a shopper into their store to inquire about my $1,500 desk I had left there a few weeks earlier. She was told it was $600 which would have left the store with a $300 profit. She asked if the store would consider $500 and was told no. My wife and I called every few weeks and was told the desk still hadn't sold. Roughly six weeks later we called to inquire if it had sold and we were told the desk was indeed sold. However, since we'd missed our required 'call-in' by roughly ten (10) days, the desk was no longer ours and we would be receiving NO money. The desk had been hijacked by the store owner and sold, probably for a lot less than $500 or $600 since the store owner could now keep ALL the proceeds from my desk for themselves. WHAT A GREAT BUSINESS MODEL! Act like a consignment store and ask for high prices, Second, just wait for sellers to miss a deadline and then greedily grab their goods. DO NOT give the seller any notice. Third, sell only when you can keep 100% of the profits on 'free' merchandise. My advice for ANYONE considering leaving any item with them for 'consignment' to instead just use Craigslist. You'll be in control, and you won't take a beating at the hands of this ruthless shop owner. Besides, the store was largely filled with undesirable junk and really old cheap stuff.

Dear Give Wink, You…read morerecently moved to your new location across the street (east) from the Falls. You are my go-to spot for anything that is unique baby/kid gear, from gifts for others to gifts for our baby to come. Throughout my pregnancy I have come to you repeatedly to buy special items, get ideas and speak to your wonderful Sales reps who know all about the best items to choose for each occasion and baby necessity. I really like the personal touch that you provide. I feel like I'm walking into a friend's house when I come here. Everyone is friendly, knows us and takes their time to help us choose the right item, while still providing enough space for us to discuss and make decisions. I love the selection and variety of what you have to offer. From cribs and furniture to clothes and toys, this store has it all! Some of the cutest, interactive books are found here, as are some very unique and educational toys. I can spend hours here just perusing all of the stuff. I have to admit you are a bit pricey and I have found some of the same items at other store for a more reasonable price. I have also paid beaucoup bucks for some items I had to have... However the customer service and individualized care are what keep me coming back to support this amazing local business. :-) Love what you do!! Keep it up!! Your loyal customer, SabrinaAnna*

The Aventura location has moved to Hallandale, but if you look up Give Wink Aventura on Yelp, you…read morewill see additional reviews of this store. They are so incredibly disorganized! They have no tracking system for their registry and I was told they don't have the man-power to update purchases. They leave items on your registry so that people buy duplicates and then you end up with useless credits at their store, since most of the items you registered for are out of stock or no longer available. Or, they just take the liberty to substitute any color or similar product for the one you originally wanted. The owner, very nice at the beginning, but then difficult to deal with. We spent over $5000 at her store, $3000 in furniture, and as they are walking in to deliver, she tells us about a $225 assembly charge, or threatens that I can put it together myself! I did not purchase Ikea! They also never placed the order for our car seat base, bought off the registry a month earlier, and then tells me I will have to wait another 6+ weeks for it to come in or pay $45 shipping charge -- for their mistake of not ordering it. Our baby was due in 6 weeks or less! If not for the salesgirl, Alex, who was sweet, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable, I would have registered elsewhere ... but I thought, oh, it's a nice local store, I will support local and not the big box stores... I am sorry that I did. What a disappointing experience!
