Dear Again and Again, I've stopped in on a couple of occasions just to peruse the store. There's a lot of interesting items, vintage finds and the like. I've seen really neat clothing items that reminded me of something straight out of the 70s and clothes that I wish I would have considered picking up. The store is really filled top to bottom with stuff and one has to be very extra careful not to accidentally bump into anything, due to the tight proximity of the items. I mean, where I walked I was inches from knocking something over! Scary. I would hate to be responsible for taking down half the store... One thing that has turned me off on my visits has been the price. I expected to find more reasonably priced items and instead found everything to be a bit on the expensive side. Consignment stores are a nice way of saying thrift stores, but it seems that perhaps you don't consider yourself to be in that category. Which hey, is totally your prerogative, but I think you should consider the area and the clientele. I'm sure I'll find myself in here again, looking around to see what interesting thing I can find. The pricing strategy deployed by Again and Again is but one part of their unsavory business model. Yes, they allow you to leave your items there and declare your asking price. Our asking price was $300. Second, the minute you walk out they mark it up as you would expect any retailer to do. I sent a shopper into their store to inquire about my $1,500 desk I had left there a few weeks earlier. She was told it was $600 which would have left the store with a $300 profit. She asked if the store would consider $500 and was told no. My wife and I called every few weeks and was told the desk still hadn't sold. Roughly six weeks later we called to inquire if it had sold and we were told the desk was indeed sold. However, since we'd missed our required 'call-in' by roughly ten (10) days, the desk was no longer ours and we would be receiving NO money. The desk had been hijacked by the store owner and sold, probably for a lot less than $500 or $600 since the store owner could now keep ALL the proceeds from my desk for themselves. WHAT A GREAT BUSINESS MODEL! Act like a consignment store and ask for high prices, Second, just wait for sellers to miss a deadline and then greedily grab their goods. DO NOT give the seller any notice. Third, sell only when you can keep 100% of the profits on 'free' merchandise. My advice for ANYONE considering leaving any item with them for 'consignment' to instead just use Craigslist. You'll be in control, and you won't take a beating at the hands of this ruthless shop owner. Besides, the store was largely filled with undesirable junk and really old cheap stuff. read more

The worst experience of my life!!! Took 10 jeans to be sold when I went to pick them up there were only 7. The person there told me that one had sold the only one priced at $ 60 and that the other 2 were in the store possibly misplaced. I looked everywhere and could not find them and she didn't offer to help. I asked for the money of the sold item and she replied that only from the 5th to the 10th of the month they issue checks. I went the 5th and was informed that the item sold the day after the contract expired and therefore sold for half price. Instead of $60 were $30 and 40% is $12 and they collected a consignment fee of $10 so I only had $2 and they don't issue checks for less than $10. I asked for help finding my other 2 jeans and they told me I could go every day until the 21st to look for them!!!! DON'T GO THERE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR BELONGINS TOO!!!! read more

Have been to this store quite a few times and have found lots of gently used toys and puzzles for my grandsons. Owner is very nice and lets me know when she has items in that I am looking for. We got many of our Thomas the Train trains and accessories there. read more

Small consignment store in the same plaza as Antiques and Collector's. A lot of tchotchkes if that's what you like. Some nicer and new items of clothing but most are older. I didn't see a place to try on the clothing but prices were reasonable. read more

I would not consign with these people! I took some new and mid- range items to them. When I returned everything had. Been sold, but they had no monies for me saying their overhead was high and had not sold much! Not honorable people in my experience! read more

My family recently moved to Miami about a year ago, and one day I stopped in the shop to see if I could consign some of our children's clothing. Since then, I go back often. Even my kids love to go in the store because the owner, Jennifer has a train table for kids to play with while you shop. I love going in here, and always find something that I want to buy, whether it actually buy or not. Jennifer is just about one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, too! I have been shopping with Jennifer for over 8 years. I love this store. I read the reviews and it is sad some of things that are said. If people would read there contract that all consignment stores have then there would not be an issue. Yes, Jennifer can be firm but she has a business to run. But she is also fair. Sometimes her prices are high but if you ask her she actually marks things down because she has done it for me numerous times. I wish everyone to go by and check this place out!! read more

I used to do business with Again and Again for many years when Jennifer was originally on Old Cutler. The things I would bring into her would always be top of the line cloths, gently used and in great condition. The toys would always have all the parts and a lot of time zip locked. I hardly ever got a check from her because according to her my things did not sell, highly unlikely! Once she said she couldn't pay any of the consignees because her computer crashed, I asked her didn't she have a back up and she said that one crashed too! Yeah right! I repeatedly would ask her for a readout of all the things that I had brought in and she would tell me her computer did not have the capacity to do that, but one day I went in when she wasn't working and the girl there printed me up a four page list with the majority 80% she marked as donated. I had my good friend bring in all her baby toys, she had a garage full of things, and she never received a check from Jennifer, supposedly things never sold. That again is very highly unlikely. I went in there to get a bunch of my Disney VHS because the time was up for the consignment and while I was looking right at my VHS's, she told me they had been donated! She is a liar and a cheat and the only way she has stayed in business is from unsuspecting people who do not know her reputation in town. She has a very bad reputation in town and no one, and there are plenty, who has ever dealt with her would recommend her. read more
