I had never taken a pottery class and was so excited to learn the ropes. There are 10 wheels here, so our group of 10 was able to arrive a little early, drink wine and eat some snacks we brought before learning the ropes of ceramics. Victor was our instructor and he was amazing! He first did a demonstration on how to work with the clay and start to make your piece. Then he helped us to create our own pieces. We got to make 3 different things. One item is included in your class price and you can purchase the other 2 for just $8 each. It's a hands on experience but so awesome to learn a new skill and get to be able to take your creation home. I will definitely look into more classes as I truly enjoyed my experience with the class.

Our family has been blessed to have both of our children attend Gymboree over the years--our eldest, who is now preparing to begin his senior year of high school, and our youngest, who just graduated from the preschool program. From the very first play classes to their final day in preschool, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. When our children first started, they didn't know their numbers, letters, or how to express themselves clearly. Today, thanks to the love, patience, and structured learning environment at Gymboree, they have left confident, prepared, and full of joy. Connie has an incredible gift for curating a team of nurturing, passionate, and highly effective teachers and assistants. They have an outdoor enclosed section which includes rock climbing and what looked like axe throwing (for kids). Inside they have plenty of arcade games along with laser tag. They also have some cool new bowling lanes in the back. I didn't get to taste the food or drinks but they did have a pretty wide diversity of options including the usual fair, pizza chicken fingers and more importantly alcohol for the adults but also lomo saltado and chicken and waffles. They also have private room upstairs for parties. The kids had a great time and it's pretty enclosed so not easy to lose track of your kid. Overall it's a solid option to host a party and keep the kids entertained.

My kids also said the other children weren't very nice, and on our first day they were left in a room without continuous supervision. That lack of adequate oversight and the quality of interactions among the kids made the visit less enjoyable. On a positive note, the owner did refund us an hour which was an awkwardly rushed charge on my credit card, which I appreciated. .... I'm adding to my review because I was surprised by the response. My appointment was scheduled for 11am, though I later learned the classes started at 10:30am. On our first day, we arrived early to check things out. You told me it was fine to leave the kids for the hour I paid for, and if they enjoyed it, they could stay longer for a fixed daily rate. When I returned an hour later to pick them up, the staff member told me to come back in 30 minutes because they weren't finished. I wish I had -- because when I did go back, I found my kids standing alone in a room. The staff member came out from another room, rushed me to pay (despite my having already paid online), and then charged my card again without proper explanation. To make matters worse, on the way home, my kids told me that the other children had been unkind and that the staff allowed them to be left alone intentionally. This was disappointing and not at all what I was led to expect.
