I come here at least once a week to walk around and enjoy the scenes of design district. The architecture here always brings me in a good mood and feels like a fresh breath of air think beautiful art, and construction, even in their parking garage. And big brand names, but also some other ones like Sephora and Alo, I come here for coffee, for bites in their food hall MIA Market or to just get some steps in. And the best part is there are always people walking around and enjoying their day which makes it the best spot for people watching and enjoying. read more

I'm from LA & this was better than Rodeo Drive. The greenery mixed with the designer stores is such a vibe. There's some great little cafes here too. I thoroughly enjoyed walked around and checking out all the stores. It's rather huge you can easily spend 2-3 hours here. It's busy and happening place to be. read more

If you're looking to get into some damage in your wallet, look no further. From my experiences, it's been done. Shopping heaven for all your designer lover with stores literally at every turn. It's a few blocks radius with all the designer stores that you could possible want. Beautiful location with tons of picturesque spots. It a favorite among influencer so more than likely you'll run into someone you follow on IG or any social media platform. They do have a good amount of restaurants spread out which is nice. Art display is pretty cool accompanying the whole esthetic of the place. Upscale shopping Mecca but even a stroll along and window shopping or people watching is worth it. read more

This area has transformed into one of the best shopping areas in the world. It's Fifth Ave., Beverly Hills, and the Champs Elysees all wrapped up in one. Beautiful outdoor shopping and entertainment. Stroll the streets and you will find Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Christian Louboutin Dior, Prada, Cartier and more. It's a watch heaven with branded stores from Breitling, Bulgari, Panerai, Hublot just to name a few. Tons of restaurants, art galleries, and event space as well. The first time I was here they had a great Louis Vuitton pop up. There's plenty of paid street parking and there's a garage close to all the stores. It's truly a sight to see. Luxury Shopping where the worlds of high fashion, art and food come together. If buying a new bag or shoes is out of your budget, don't worry, there's some of the best people watching here. If you are into luxury brands then this is THE place for you. All the top houses are here. Dior, Prada, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Pucci, St.Laurent where I gagged over a 25,000.00 leather trench coat. I should have snapped a picture but I was too busy picking my shocked eyeballs off the ground. I obviously know my lane as far a luxury good are concerned, my feet are firmly in the LV, Gucci, Fendi, Prada range, but still its nice to look and see and touch and aspire! I also need to say at every store we entered every one on staff was very welcoming and friendly. Not pretentions here and that is beautiful because you can not judge a book by it's cover. You don't know what people have in their wallets. And speaking to this as well, I saw and heard people from all the world shopping down here. Every language you can imagine. Some people were definitely representing in their couture but there were just as many who were chill and casual myself included and still got treated well. Amongst the shopping the grounds are nice as well. Beautiful landscaped pathways, patios with umbrella covered tables and swing areas for children and yourself! Poppin' tags! This place is the place to be seen. I saw more Lamborghinis driving through here than I saw anywhere else. You see all kinds here- people dressed to impress. There's shops galore- multiple locations for some. There's food, a food court, and bathrooms, and plenty of public art and wonderful landscaping to see. Parking is Valet, of course. There's a parking garage that they can park your car in, look for the black and white artwork on the exterior. I heard that the designer of elements of the Design District had based this area on Barcelona's posh shopping district. There's no shortage of luxury here. Hermes, Dulce & Banana, Gucci, Fendi- they've got it all here. No, there's no hardware stores around here. The place is clean, and has lots and lots of public art- be sure to check out Buckminster Fuller's buckydome by the food court. read more

My recent trip to the Miami Design District was great. It felt like stepping into a living, breathing fashion magazine. I was also attending the annual car show that Prestige imports hosts with all the supercar brands. also people displayed their private collection. The miami design district has maney high-end stores like Gucci and Prada, but what truly captivated me was the atmosphere. Imagine a combination of art, shopping, and people-watching, all blended together. Stunning murals and sculptures popped up around every corner, and the architecture itself was a work of art. They also have this fantastic free art museum called the Institute of Contemporary Art, perfect for a refreshing break from the retail scene. If you not in the mood to spend several hundreds of dollars, window-shopping here is an absolute thrill to see the latest trends. Just a friendly reminder, things can be a bit on the expensive side, so be prepared. Finding parking can be tricky too so consider public transportation or ride-sharing options. Their is meter parking along all streets. Overall, the Design District ranks high on my Miami must-visit list. It's stylish, vibrant, and offers a truly unique experience. read more

I drove up and down some streets. parking is plentiful but you have to pay for it. shout out to all the artists that contributed to this. it's public property so it's free. Have not been here during the day but it will for sure be a place I will add to my daytime must visit list. I found by mistake be a use my car needed to be charged and their parking garage is Tesla charging station heaven. Well I guess Tesla store across the street does help. Lolol.... This is basically a luxury outdoor mall featuring buildings with fashion, jewelry, restaurants, galleries/museums and other high end goods. The area is pleasant and it has a lot of stores around, like Armani, Dior, Burberry, Gucci, Cartier, etc. The area is roughly between 36 and 43 streets on the east side of Miami. There is ample parking via garages including the famous Museum Garage. A nice place to spend some time (window!) shopping or just wandering around. plus the architecture is very modern, combining geometry with green areas. You can easily go around for a couple of hours. I came Sunday for the Miami Concours event and love it! Also, make sure to go to the second floor. There is a relaxing sophisticated swing area surrounded by flowers. Along with Upper Buena Vista just north of it, the Miami Design District dates back to the 1890's when it was a small village, home to cracker's who migrated from Georgia and North Carolina to farm pineapples in Florida. Along with Lemon City and Little River, Upper Buena Vista and the Miami Design District are the oldest settlements in Miami. Many of the homes here date to Florida's land bloom years of the 1920's when the first subdivisions were built. Twenty years ago Miami native Craig Robins recognized the potential of this part of Miami and he started purchasing buildings in the neighborhood for the purpose of creating a place with exceptional architecture, design and experiences. L Catterton joined Robins as a partner in 2011 and encouraged luxury brands to move into the Design District. Today there are more than 120 flagship luxury stores in the district along with restaurants, public art, event spaces, museums, and galleries. There are four parking garages in the design district. I \have only used the Museum Garage and it is only $3 to park. There is also some limited street parking. I love to come here to nosh, window shop, take pictures, and see free art. It is also a pretty awesome place to people watch. If you are looking for something different to do in Miami, the Design District is full of fun surprises. An absolutely beautiful place! You have to come here if you're in Miami, not just for high-end shopping but also for the aesthetics. The stores and architecture here are beautiful and there are lots of places and sights for photo-ops. Parking is actually quite affordable considering this is Miami. For 0-4 hours, it's only $3. I wasn't sure if I wanted to give a 3 or 4 star rating. I am going with 3. This area is super congested. I was here on a Saturday and imagine it is a little less busy during the week. So many streets..so many pedestrians...so many cars. It gets chaotic. I met my friend here. I wanted to come here because I haven't been to the Miami Deaign Dostrict in a while. The last time there were not nearly as many stores...or maybe I was in a different area of the district. I also needed to get a necklace repaired at Roberto Coin. This is probably the lowest end retailer in this area. This area sort of reminds me of Beverly Hills. A whiff of it anyway. So many high end stores. Heck even in the high end "food court" I saw a small entree for $42. Not all the eateries are that pricey. But still. It is a little over the top for me. read more

While it is a lot more sophisticated aka bougie now compared to the early 2000s gentrification and art renaissance, the Miami Design District (aka the northeast end of Wynwood Art District) has always been a fun spot to hang out with great restaurants and funky displays. Earning the name from its history as Miami's heart of fashion and interior design, it has now become more of a high end shopping destination with high end art exhibits. For example, the Moore Building - former location of a very fun Yelp Event and an old furniture store - recently held a socially distanced Basel event complete with a rooftop bar. You want high end Cuban food? Estefan Kitchen's got you (previously enjoyed by me). Aubi & Ramsa have yummy boozy ice cream, Balenciaga for the pretty sneakerheads and Louboutin will have you tapping them 6" heels with the red bottom. Armani Exchange for those suits; Tesla has your car ready as well. Although there's a nice parking garage with public art facing I395, their valet is pretty convenient in that you can get your car at a different block from whence you came. It's definitely a cool place to spend a couple of hours around! read more

I went yesterday fan art event. Typically Art Basel would be this weekend but due to covid this year was a bit different. We were able to buy tickets in advance through eventbrite and had to choose an hour block schedule. It was pretty nice. I loved the 1 hour block because it wasn't so crowded as you know it usually is. You had more time to enjoy the art. The items and art was great. Staff was making sure the covid safety protocol was being upkept. I took a few pics to show you all. Complimentary drink once done with the 4 floors of art viewing. Covid details- We were offered courtesy Adidas mask which I thought were great as well. Time slots were avaliable in a 1 hr block to choose. We chose 4 -5 pm. My boyfriend and I came for the first time here and we loved it! It's bigger than we anticipated which is good! The parking garage at Palm Count is the most affordable which is $3.00 the first four hours. It's an outdoor shopping area so it's good on a sunny day. VALET SCAMMED US! Beware! Last night we attended an event at Omare. I valeted my car across the street in front of the MC Kitchen at 6:36PM. After the event we went to dinner at MC Kitchen. We came back to the valet and retrieved the car at 10:34 PM. The valet attendant actually walked over to my group and told me it was $10. I thought at the time I must have just missed the 0-4 hour time frame which would have made it $5. I paid him in cash and gave him a $5 tip. Today after looking at the texts from the valet I realize I did indeed make the under 4 hour mark by a couple of minutes. I requested a receipt through the text and this where I saw I was scammed. The receipt shows I did indeed only owe $5. The kicker is it shows I paid $5. It also says I gave a $3 tip. But the really disturbing part is that it says I paid with a credit card and shows some random swiggly line for a signature. To recap I paid $10 CASH and $5 cash tip. So not only did they scam me out of money but there may also be credit card fraud involved. I despise thieves. I will be calling the design district today and I will update with how they respond. I am not letting this slide because if it happened to me it's happening to other people. My guess if that they target people who are really close to the next price based on hours. For me it was two minutes. I should also mention that the valet offered to park my car out front for $25 when we arrived. read more

A boujee outdoor mall in Miami. The Design District is exactly that. This area is filled with couture and designer fashion shops. From Louie to Fendi, you can find all your expensive needs right here. I'm not one with high priced taste but my favorite part of this area is the architecture. Buildings with their own flair and shops where the outside is just as pleasing as the inside. This place is a dream to photograph. I usually come here to take pictures and I was lucky enough to do an engagement shoot here. We were able to take pictures with the beautiful walls with different textures and designs. The main part of this area is work of art, itself. They also have a food hall here: St. Roch Market Miami. This food hall also has wifi, in case you'd like to get some work done as you eat. If you're looking for a place to stroll around or need somewhere expensive to shop, Design District is a good place to stop by. read more

I always enjoy the design district, for shopping, dinning, and special events! I'd like to mention a Skating event that was hosted on April 9th 2022 in the Jungle Plaza area and it was really fun! They turned the space into a skating rink, with DJ & food vendors from 7-10pm. You could bring your own skates, or rent on-site. It's the second time they host it, but first time I join, i had a great time skating with my friends and listening to fun music. Many very talented skaters were onsite showing of their skills & even choreographies. Definitely a nice way of using the space and inviting the local community to a fun night out. The theme of the event was 'Pride', and most of the music was disco-boogie themed. I really hope they repeat this type of event. read more

I loved the cute light blue adult size swing. There was some type of outdoor market going on when we were there. I'm not sure if it takes place everyday. It started raining as we were leaving. Plus: the new eateries and gorgeous layout and modern look. Minus: prices, parking and actually a waste of most of the space. We didn't need another Ball Harbor. The luxury stores are doomed here. They made that mistake again with New Brickell City center and there you saw stores closing down within months after opening. Total waste and unnecessary high pricing. I don't get why they keep creating these high end areas for which there is no demand.
