I had never visited a city center on this scale before, and Brickell City Centre was impressive. It…read morefeels like a massive open-air mall with covered walkways, which makes it comfortable to explore even in the heat or rain. There's a wide range of stores catering to different budgets--from typical mall stores to high-end luxury shops. The center offers a good mix of shopping including clothing stores and beauty retailers. I am not sure about the restaurants and cafes, since I have not explored the whole mall. I did see a restaurant, Starbucks, and a boba shop that I visited. I visited several stores during my trip, and overall, the service was friendly and welcoming. Dior stood out in particular, as the staff were attentive, offered samples, and created a more engaging shopping experience. The other stores I visited were also pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it's a cool place to walk around, shop, and hangout for a day.

We visited to find a specific outfit, and the variety of stores has definitely improved over time. While the mall still features many luxury retailers, it now includes more accessible options such as H&M, Zara, a smaller Abercrombie & Fitch location, Sephora, and Victoria's Secret. The mall offers great dining options along with beautiful views, and it is always lively. Tourists are often seen taking photos on the skybridge near Victoria's Secret, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. One of the most convenient features is the free Metromover, which has a stop directly at Brickell City Centre. This makes it easy to park farther away and avoid high parking costs. For those who live nearby, walking is also a great option. The open air but covered design gives the mall a modern outdoor feel while still providing comfort and a sense of safety, which is very important. In addition to shopping, there is a movie theater, an escape room, indoor golf, and other entertainment options. We stopped for a bite to eat at The Henry. Our server, Alex was attentive and provided great service. What was once a quiet space focused mainly on ultra luxury brands has transformed into a lively, well rounded destination with something for everyone.

The store selection here is fine. Publix, Total Wine, Best Buy, Petco, and T J Maxx. But…read more.. The mall design is horrendous. Elevators are slow, confusing and often broken. It is often impossible to get from Total Wines on 3 to Publix at ground without walking across a long parking garage and then down three flights in a sometimes smelly -- you know why! -- stairwell. Or if the elevators are working a change at 2 is required. Bizarre. Sometimes I relocate the car from 3 to 2 if I have a case of wine or a lot of groceries. Or leave and go to another Publix store. I NEVER buy anything heavy at Petco.

Remarkably, it has gotten worse, if that is possible, since my one star review 8 years ago! How about starting again from scratch! I live nearby and since the start this building was always pedestrian unfriendly. It has only, for instance, a single handicap access elevator to reach the 2nd floor where 2 elevators are sometimes working, sometimes not working, to get to the retail stores. If you want to walk from Best Buy or TJ Max to Publix, good luck dodging between cars in the garage. Waiting for a while for the elevators that don't show numbers or never seem to arrive, well good luck on the gross stair cases which seem to double as a local garbage dump and bathroom. Whoever owns this building is getting good rents, I'm sure, from the large retail chains that are its commercial tenants. But why don't they spend a penny on upkeep, try to fix the peeling paint, the oil spots in the garage that serve as giant slipping pools, the broken elevators as a starter? They obviously don't care. Maybe they think people will drive here only, but South Beach is also wonderful for those of us who live here because it is great to be a pedestrian. Until you try and navigate this place. On my last visit, this week, check out the broken elevators and escalator. There was NO way to get around. Just crazy. (I'd give zero stars if possible, but Yelp requires at least one star)

The Perez Art Museum, Kaseya Center, and the Frost Science Museum are a just a few blocks away. The two public garages for Miami Worldcenter are at 9th Street and NE 2nd Avenue. I recently had the chance to explore the Miami Worldcenter when I attended a Yelp event at SixtyVines, one of the first tenants of this development. Much of it is still under construction but there is still enough open to warrant a visit. An open-air shopping promenade runs north and south from NE 10th Street to NE 7th Street and between NE 1st and 2nd Avenues. A large public plaza and park will be surrounded by shops and restaurants to create a gathering space with public art. In addition to SixtyVines where I dined there is an Apple store, the first Miami location for Savage X Fenty by pop singer Rhianna, the Museum of Ice Cream, and Lucky Strike for bowling. Other open businesses include Sephora, Lulumon, Ray-Ban, The Container Store, Lucid Motors, Naftali Group, Free People. Hyp, and The Spot Barbership. Coming soon, Serafina. I love the public art, especially the historic globe that was once in the Pan Am Terminal on Dinner Key and then graced the entrance to the former Miami Science Museum for 55 years before being restored and installed in Miami Worldcenter.I am looking forward to coming back for a visit to the fun Museum of Ice Cream and to try some of the other restaurants as they open.
