The booking process was super easy and I got a text confirmation the day before. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff who took time to introduce themselves to my little man and walked me through their plan for him that day. The intake process was pretty quick, going over vaccinations and temperament questions. I was pleased to see that Walter would get to spend the morning frolicking with the other doggos rather than chilling in a kennel. The staff let me know that they would keep him a little longer so that he could get acclimated to the sounds of the grooming stations before his actual treatment. I left knowing he was in good hands. A few hours later I got a call that Walter was ready to be picked up. They let me know that he was a little bit naughty (to be expected on a first grooming) but that all in all things went well and they thought he'd improve with future visits. The cut itself was not great but considering the limited success that I've had trying to groom this little wiggle monster myself, I think they did a pretty good job and that their work will improve with puppy's behavior. Bottom line, we'll be back again.

Our pup was wounded during a trim, some skin snagged with the shears, and though it was superficial, she started bleeding a good bit. They cared for her like she was their own. We were informed about it immediately, the bleeding treated, and she was dressed with some ointment to help stave off infection. The owner told me to call them if she ended up having any more bleeding, needed any veterinary care, or it otherwise became infected. If you have ever tried grooming a dog with clippers, you can understand how easy it might be to accidentally clip something you shouldn't. However, they still held themselves accountable and wanted to take care of us all. We've been back twice since then for grooming. Now I say this -- 10 years we've seen them for haircuts, and only the one minor incident. They are confident experts and guarantee their work.

A friend recommended Lucky Dog Pet Grooming and we are so glad we gave them a try! Our dog is a Husky/Pyrenees mix which means lots of hair and attitude. Lucky Dog listened to my concerns when I made the appointment, answered all of my questions, and assured me that they would handle him with care. When we dropped the dog off for his appointment, the woman at the front desk was super friendly and took her time to confirm the services we wanted done. We got a call about an hour and a half later and picked up the dog looking amazing! They gave him a bath and deshedding treatment, an outline trim, a sanitary trim, thoroughly blow dried and brushed him out, brushed his teeth, trimmed his nails, and gave him a cute little spooky bandana! I just wrapped up a 6-week training program with Dogtown's head trainer, Makenzie and had such an…read moreamazing experience. I have a timid, sometimes reactive and aggressive dog, who needed a lot of help with training. After an hour consultation with Makenzie, we decided to do three day & train sessions where my dog would go to their facility for a half day of training one on one with Makenzie, three at home 1:1 sessions in my dog's natural environment, and three hour long group classes. The amount that I learned in these 6 weeks was absolutely mind blowing. Training your dog is about practice and consistency, and speaking your dog's language, and Dogtown gave me the confidence and the knowledge to be able to train my dog on my own. The day & train opportunities were a wonderful way to start. Makenzie would train my dog 1:1 and then would send me videos about everything they worked on during their sessions. When I came to pick her up, Makenzie would show me what they worked on and how I could practice it at home. The training sessions in my own home were incredibly helpful as well. It gave me time to practice with my dog(s) in their natural environment and refreshers on what we had already learned, and building upon the skills she was learning. The group sessions were amazing for my dog, and any dog, to have an opportunity to practice in a new, overstimulating environment with other dogs that she doesn't know. Since she is apprehensive around other dogs, this was amazing practice for her. On top of everything else, the team is so friendly and kind, and the trainers are so knowledgable. I had the chance to take a group class with their trainer Maren and she was wonderful as well. Thank you to the team for teaching both me and my dog the skills to be better trained.
