We did a little bit of digging to see what other doodle owners prefer to take their pups. A neighbor of ours recommended Doggie Decadence so we gave them a try. When we walked in, everyone was so super friendly and a few other dogs were getting groomed so I could see what and how they groom. The facility was spacious and seemed to be clean. They told me the price before we started and how long it would take. Pretty fantastic, right? She also walked through the grooming with me and what I was wanting for our little guy. We picked him up within 15 mins of her estimated time, and I was so super pleased with the result! They did a fantastic job and my pup felt comfortable being there from what I could tell. I also loved the cologne they put on him. He smells sooooo good! They also have a pre-book system where you get $5 off your next visit. Pretty great! Can't wait to take him back

We have taken both doggies here (Yellow Lab and Dachshund/Poodle mix). Neither of them had been to a groomer before and it was tough finding a place I trusted, especially cutting my puppy's hair. The haircut was great and the deshedding they did for our lab has been incredible. I would 100% recommend taking your pups here.

I've been taking my dog here for a little over a year now and they have been good. I just picked…read morehim up today and realized my dog and I are not getting what I paid for. When I dropped him off I asked for a schnauzer cut, close to the leather on the ears, to leave his tail long, and about an inch on the body. Then when I went to pick him up they had me pay before I saw my dog (which involves leaving a tip, hard to do before I see him), then they brought me the wrong dog, then when they did bring him up he wasn't on his leash and nearly ran out the door. By the time I really saw him I was already outside and he looks so bad. They did not leave his beard (making him look like a rat dog) and they left his ears way too long. Not to mention he had to pee like a gallon before we got in the car and he dropped the biggest poop when we got home, which tells me he did not get let out. Maybe they were having a bad day or their groomer changed again, but I am surprised and feel very ripped off. I will be finding a new groomer.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS GROOMER IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL…read more 1. These folks are reckless and have a complete lack of awareness of how to care for an animal or safely groom an animal. Ultimately they lack ownership of their mistakes as well. 2. The receptionist is rude and extremely inappropriate. The comments she made to my wife after dogs all day f*cked up are shocking. I will be having a word with the owner. 3. My dog was clearly without water from the time we dropped her off till pickup. She came home and instantly downed 5 bowls of water. What a joke of an establishment. The staff is an even bigger joke and this entire operation is a liability. Today was my first time taking my 9 year old dog and I'm horrified at the condition she was returned in from a simple grooming...

Better than PetSmart!…read more We were referred by our friend who has a 17-yr-old terrier mix. At first we were leery and wary of a "school" where "students" are just starting out and learning. We love our little 6-lb shih tzu Sofie and of course want what's best for her. After some not great experiences with PetSmart (nothing terrible, Sofie just didn't like them and they weren't as detailed with her cuts), we decided to try USPG. When they asked us how we wanted her full groom, they showed photos of different face shapes, different cuts, etc. I am a visual person and enjoyed seeing examples. I wanted to keep the black on her ears and the white/black on her tail. The receptionist made notes of everything! Sofie loved them and her first cut was a success! They gave her a full teddy bear face and kept her ears how I like them (black tips just lightly trimmed), and cleaned up her tail. Overall, it was a very positive experience! Would definitely take Sofie there again.
