I know it's loud. I'm not unrealistic, but their demeanor was 100% opposite of the first. I took them the 3rd time in case it was a fluke. It's too expensive and takes too long for my dogs to need reassurance after. Sadly not a lot of options out here.

Somehow, he seems younger: more energy, more interest in his surroundings, and noticeably more alert. On his walk, he had a new spring in his step (he's usually stiff after sleeping most of the day) and was focused and eager to move forward. He typically barks at strangers, but this time showed no interest--and dare I say, he even seemed better trained. At home, he wasn't food-focused in his behavior, and I truly believe he thinks he's still going to get the same level of activity and stimulation he enjoyed at Dogtopia. One of the best parts of his time there is the professional, supervised interaction with other dogs his own size. I never second-guess taking him to Dogtopia. The results speak for themselves.

I would have realized there were lots of horror stories similar to mine and that the positive reviews come from people that like to have their cats groomed. I'm sure there isn't a lot of competition in the mobile cat grooming business so he has a fan club there. Dogs are definitely not his specialty, or people skills. He quoted me the most expensive grooming price I have ever had, and shame on me, I was getting on a plane and frazzled and didn't really look at it. Getting three doodles fully groomed is expensive but usually in the $5-700 range. Angel quoted me $1078 for all three dogs. This was mobile so I explicated an up charge but then again I wasn't really paying attention. Anyway the money spent isn't my main complaint here. I just want to spare other people and their pets from having any interaction with this insane person. The quote when I went back and looked said the following. *Labor: On site grooming. Nail clipping or filing. Shampoo and hydro bath. Hair cut or furminator depending on breed. Cleaning of the eyes. Cleaning of the ears. Cleaning of their anal glands. Initial rinse. Brushing. Her paw pads and nails weren't trimmed. She was very traumatized by the event. I got home the day after and she was not herself and slept for a couple days. My labradoodle also had the strange point between his eyes, different lengths all over, same with feet and nails. My oldest the golden doodle who is 14, looked like a couple hacks had been taken at him. None of the dogs looked bathed. Ok Mr. Strange. After reading through his reviews I saw plenty of this. One woman said he told her to put her baby in a dog cage. Lots of entertaining material on Yelp reviews for Angel. Not sure if the positive reviews are fake or just cat people. I had to wait a few days before I could go to the shelter to see the puppy because I promised my granddaughter, who was coming for a visit, that I would wait for her to get here. I called to make sure the puppy was still available before we went. The staff were wonderful! We were able to play with the little puppy for as long as we wanted, using a sofa in the director's office, and had a wonderful time. I eyes got a little teary to find such a sweet, cuddly, active puppy that was just perfect for me. My granddaughter loved her too. As a matter of fact, I don't think I could have left without the puppy even if I had wanted to. ANYWAY, We were very pleasantly treated and all of the paperwork was thoroughly explained. It's been a year since we got Tinkerbell and my granddaughter is coming for another visit soon. She doesn't know it yet but I'm seriously thinking that I'm going to get another puppy/dog to add to our family. I highly recommend Christ-Yoder Animal Shelter.
