The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

I wasted over $1,000 to unknowingly abuse my dog through Off Leash K9. I sought help because my dog…read morewas reactive toward other dogs, loud vehicles, and people. I was desperate to help my dog and myself and Off Leash K9 had good reviews. What these folks didn't tell me was that my dog's reactivity, what I thought was outright aggression, was actually fear - that she was scared of all of these things and trying to protect herself from them. So with the use of the e-collar (really just a shock collar let's be honest), I punished her every time she showed a fear response at Off Leash K-9's direction. This definitely changed her behavior, but rather than helping her feel more comfortable with the things that scared her, we instead punished her for being afraid and taught her to hide her fear responses. I wish I had looked at the science behind dog behavior, because I now know research shows that punishment through things like e-collars, buzz collars, spray bottles, etc. are incredibly counterproductive to changing dog behavior long term and they seriously traumatize the dog. I'm so very grateful to have met a Fear Free trainer who taught me about positive reinforcement. It has improved my relationship with my dog immensely and it has ultimately lead to the sustained behavior change I was looking for. Please do not waste your money on abusive, ignorant training through Off Leash K9.

We loved our trainer - and I am so sorry I cannot remember her name (she had Yellow hair!). But she was amazing, respectful, and patient with everyone and the dog parents. LOL She was very skittish in the beginning but with confidence and learning and homework we did a lot of great strides to making her feel more comfortable with us training her and being at home. She still will love checking out squirrels but we have been taught on what to do when that happens. We appreciate all you all do, and look forward to checking out more of their classes.

There are tons of classes from puppy kindergarten, basic obedience, agility, nose work, fly ball, you name it. Everyone in all the classes has been very encouraging as have all the instructors. It is a great community for dog owners who love their dogs, want to train and work with them, and have a lot of fun. We have learned so much and just began trialing in agility. Whether you're a first time dog owner or a seasoned pro, there is sure to be a class that fits your needs. Make sure to keep an eye on their website as they do semester based classes and it can be tough to get a spot in the popular classes. If your dog has any behavioral issues, you won't be automatically disqualified from class but please disclose it to your instructor to keep yourself and others safe. There is a lot of free parking and a designated potty area right outside. The location is also great right off 95. Overall, I've had a really great experience and am very impressed with the club!
