Love Those Paws was great from the moment I messaged them for a quote until I returned from…read morevacation. Stewart guided me through setting up a time to go over all the particulars. Despite me typing up a whole instruction sheet, he insisted on walking through again just to be sure (which is very reassuring). The actual pet sitting was spectacular. The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

Listen, I'm not sure where to start because there's so much I want to cover regarding OLK9's Day…read moreCamp Program. First things first, Craig [Martin] is a Rockstar trainer. Period. Our very first interaction was great...his energy was wonderful...he did not disappoint! He was very methodical with his approach...explaining every step of the process...very engaging...constant updates of the Boyz progress...videos, photos...wait! The photos that I received were Ahhhhhhh-mazing, I mean impressive...only to learn that he's a photographer as well...but I digress. The Boyz are spoiled and I have no shame in stating this...*smile*. But they needed to learn manners. I have two large and very strong Standard Poodles - Mr. Brown and Max. They're extremely smart, pretty obedient in the house, but a huge challenge on walks...my poor dog walker. I wanted to be able to take them anywhere without the extended conversations of sit, stay, what are you doing? you know better... etc. At any rate, I'd been following OLK9 Maryland for some time online. I knew that training for two dogs was going to be a budget buster. Thankfully, I was able to take advantage of the "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday" (can't remember which one it was). I cannot say enough about the great experience I had...the Boyz were happy to see Craig each day which was a HUGE relief for me. Yes, additional work/training on my part is required...to me that's a no brainer. As a responsible pet owner, I want to make sure that there is consistency and an expectation that my Boyz are well behaved and well mannered. Which means I have to do the work. Funny, as I was driving home from our final session, I was so tempted to take them on a short walk because I knew it would be enjoyable. But decided to wait until morning... I'm so excited to be able to have an enjoyable walk with these guys... less scolding and more bonding. Well worth the time and financial commitment. Thank you OLK9 Maryland for bringing additional joy to our home... things are definitely more "manageable". I'm really looking forward to our walks, especially since there will be NO more pulling! Can't wait to be able to take them to the "brick and mortar" with me once it's open! "Life Changing K9 Training"

We worked with this training team a few years ago and did learn some helpful things from Craig,…read morewhich we appreciated. However, their training approach relies heavily on e-collar use, and ultimately, it just wasn't the right fit for us or our dog. Our dog did not respond well to the collar, and we became increasingly uncomfortable with using it. For us, it felt inhumane and negatively impacted our dog's trust and willingness to work with us. Honestly, we felt like it set us back rather than moving us forward because she became so unhappy with the collar. We eventually found another trainer whose approach focused more on leash pressure, patience, tone, and building communication and trust. That approach worked much better for our dog, and we were able to rebuild the trust we felt had been lost. I understand that e-collar training works for some dogs and owners, and I'm not saying this approach can't work for others. It simply wasn't right for our dog or our family. I think it's important for owners to know that training methods are not one-size-fits-all, and finding an approach that your dog responds to positively makes all the difference. While we did take away some useful information from our experience, we ultimately needed a different approach to help our dog thrive.

However, since I teach school, I didn't put her in her crate as often as I should. Needless to say, it was a hectic in the morning. In addition, Daisy was refusing to get into the car. I called Dauntless Dogs and spoke with Angie. She spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone. The suggestions she gave me worked really well. I still required a little more support and scheduled a time for private training. There are not words to describe how grateful I am for the help and time they spent with me. It was expensive. This was without a doubt money well spent. Angie came with Casey. They listened to my concerns and my goals for Daisy and then we all got to work. Angie and Casey are dog whisperers. It took Casey approximately 2 minutes (this is not an exaggeration) to get Daisy in the car. Then he had her jumping in with the command, "load up" and going through to jump out of the car with the command, "out". Daisy believes that every dog is her friend and wants to play with her. Casey taught me how to help Daisy meet new dogs safely. Finally, as I wrote in the beginning, Daisy has become a little resistant to her crate. Casey worked with her (well really me), and within a couple of minutes, using the command, "kennel", Daisy was walking in the crate on her own. Casey taught me how to release her from the crate with the command, "free". Helping me become a better pet owner was the most important goal. Angie and Casey far exceeded my expectations. If you need help with your dog, you can't do better than Dauntless Dogs private trainers Angie and Casey.

Before working with Scott, we honestly didn't know if we could handle Hank on our own. The difference after training is night and day--he's now the dog we always knew he could be. Scott's dedication went above and beyond. He kept us updated almost daily with videos and progress reports, making us feel included every step of the way. We know Hank wasn't easy, but Scott worked patiently with him and showed tremendous commitment to Hank's success. Thank you to the entire Valor Canine team, especially Scott, for your hard work, and for continuing to check in and answer all of our questions. Valor Canine Service is not just a dog training business; they are a true maestro of canine behavior and obedience. From the moment my dog began his training sessions, I was kept informed of my dog's progress daily and it was evident that not only did Valor Canine Service possessed a deep understanding of dogs, but also has a profound love and passion for what they do. Their approach was not merely about teaching commands but about fostering a harmonious relationship between owner and dog. This holistic approach is what sets Valor Canine Service apart for me and, from others in the field. I still implement the follow-up behavior and obedience strategies I was given. I will definitely use this service again and would highly recommend them to anyone. Valor Canine Service thank you! HM

Olive (my 5-year-old Boston Terrier chaos gremlin)…read morehas been going to daycare there three days a week for a while now, and it's hands-down the best decision I've made for her. The staff are not just professional, they're genuinely amazing. Every single person there clearly loves dogs, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. They know each pup as an individual, not just a number on the roster. The daily mix of group play, individual attention, enrichment activities, and structured downtime means Olive comes home happy, tired, and mentally satisfied instead of overstimulated or bored. I've never had a single worry about her safety or well-being while she's there. Even better, my 7-month-old Amstaff mix Bohdi has been taking private training lessons at Fieldstone, and wow, Lindsey, the training director, is in a league of her own. I've worked with several trainers over the years (both personally and professionally), and Lindsey is by far the best handler/trainer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's patient, incredibly knowledgeable, reads dogs like an open book, and makes every session fun and productive. Bohdi looks forward to seeing her and her pup Birdie, and I can already see huge progress in his focus, impulse control, and manners. The training isn't just about commands, it's about building confidence and a real bond. The whole team at Fieldstone shines with genuine care and expertise. If you want a place where your dog is truly loved, safely enriched, and expertly trained, look no further. Fieldstone is the gold standard. Highly, highly recommend... five stars aren't enough!
