This Petco is terrible. I went for the first time with a printed offer for free offer to have a free exam for my dog. I had an appointment and asked at their desk if I was in the correct spot. I was told yes. So I got behind two ladies waiting with their dogs. No one else in line. After they were taken care of I stood there for at least 20 minutes waiting and noticed more customers coming in and getting in line to my right. A girl approached me telling me to get behind these people now in line waiting. After I was told to wait where I was. By the four girls behind the counter. Then this girl told me the printed offer in my hand was not welcome at this location. Which stated the opposite. She asked me to leave. After all my time waiting and the people behind the counter stood there and never said anything to reassure her they saw me waiting for over half an hour. Just so disappointed in their service. I will never step in this store ever again and tell anyone I know to do the same. read more

Called for a grooming appointment. Was quoted 39.00$ for shampoo nails and grooming. When I took her In I was advised that they were not certified to do a full grooming. They could bathe,clip nails, face and butt hole. Picked her up and was charged 49.00$ not the quoted 39.00. Not sure she had been bathed as her face was still tear matted and mouth still dirty. Did not come out fluffy like she normally does when blowed dried. I will never return felt I had been taken. I do not recommend. read more

Had " grooming" services done on my dog. Upon picking my dog up I was told she "moved around too much" for the haircut I paid for. I also realized they hadn't trimmed her nails, and when I asked the groomer about it she said, "shit, I forgot", went on to trim my dog's nails, and came back with one foot done as she couldn't continue as my dog "was whining". Manager was absolutely no help nor apologetic in any way, so I essentially wasted not only my time but my dog's comfort for what ended up being essentially a three hour long bath. And for any of those questioning if my dog was the problem- I immediately took her to a different groomer (A Classical Touch... amazing work) and they trimmed her nails in less than five minutes with no problems whatsoever. read more

Went to this store on Saturday at 6:48 to buy some dog food. As I approached the entrance the employees were exiting and one of them said " we're actually closed." I looked at the hours on the door and said " it says you're open until 8:00." No response. Just closed the door and headed to their cars. Luckily for me Petsmart was open. And that is where I will take my business from now on. And I'm sure that the manager at petco couldn't care less. read more

This place is, in a word, DISGUSTING. I went in here for a bag of cat food, saw the conditioner of the store, and immediately left. This place is FILTHY. Dog hair EVERYWHERE. It's as though they've never swept the floors or dusted the lower shelves. The staff was unwelcoming and were more focused on holding the counter down by leaning on it than actually doing anything to help with the hygiene of the store. Absolutely repulsive. read more

My parents took their 7 pound Pomeranian and 8 pound Maltese to be groomed. Because of covid you can't bring your dog in so employees have to come out and get the dog. Their pups were scared, which is understandable, so they wouldn't walk. The lady who came to get them dragged them with the leash. My mom asked if she would carry them. She said picking up dogs was against policy. However you have to pick them up to bathe them, to put them on the grooming table and to put them in their waiting cages. And that is apparently ok. But policy won't let them carry in a scared pup? You need to change the policy. Our business is going elsewhere. read more

Employees are absolutely rude. I will never go there again. First the whole store is absolutely disgusting. Second worst customer service ever. I'll definitely never go there again. We take our dogs at least monthly for grooming services. Taylor and Stephanie are amazing and do a great job. Especially with a very difficult large breed dog, Stephanie has been working with him and has been patient and taking time for things he was scared of such as nail trimming/grinding. Taylor does our other dog and just can't say enough good things of these two. They do great work and are great with our pets! read more

Out of stock on items and don't seem to be aware or care to order more. Inventory control terrible. Fixing up the aisles to make em look doesn't exist, employees rather goof off and run to the back of the store and hide out in what I am guessing break room? Not aware to straighten up items down them aisles, sometimes it really looks like crap in there. Some pet foods are old and expired with really bad dented cans and they just let em lay there. Employees are pretty darn lazy from what I am seeing. Always running out of product and failing to order more unless it's a long time away, just forces me to buy it from online like Chewy.com or Amazon. Not a very good maneuver Petco. Driving customers away to buy elsewhere isn't good business and bad for profits. Yes I graduated from 3rd grade math.Sure they might have to, it's just they don't CARE.....From what I hear about the grooming salon in store, THEY SIMPLE DON'T CARE. Keep your Puppy and Kitty at home safe!......Gotta Care, right? am I right or am I right? right? right? right? They need to send down a secret shopper from corporate to come in a few random times and let whomever is in charge of store really have it. Really sock it to em good and give them an ultimatum. DO NOT BUY FISH FROM HERE! I bought two algae eaters from here less than two weeks ago. I went against my better judgement when I saw the tanks here were filled with asexual snails. The guy who was helping us said all the tanks have then. I knew how to keep them out of mine but I should have paid more attention to the scales. Yesterday I noticed all my fish had ICK. I went and bought treatment for my tank. As I thought about it I remembered noticing the algae eaters looking funky and having salt look to them. I thought that was how their skin naturally looked. I was wrong. Woke up this morning to two dead algae eaters. Luckily my other fish will live most likely since I caught theirs early. I will never again buy fish from this place! read more
