Amazing fish supplies! Kaydence was so helpful and awesome. Will be back soon! And may buy a membership next time

I'm very disappointed with my experience. The manager refused to sell us a pet based solely on hearsay from another customer. He told us, "So unfortunately I have to decline this service because a customer told me you were going to release the mice into the wild." No one asked us for clarification or gave us an opportunity to explain. Making decisions based on an unverified accusation felt unfair and unprofessional. read more

They no longer price match to chewy, plus got over charged for 4 items that were 58.88 my sub total (before tax) was 274.97 something doesn't add up! I won't be shopping here again. read more

Made appointment to have our pup groomed. When we arrived for the appointment, the groomer said our appointment was canceled due to "non-response" to their confirmation text. We had received a text the evening before stating, "Petco Grooming Appointment Reminder: See you tomorrow at 8:15 CDT". As an aside, we have had our dogs groomed at Petco for 10+ years. That would seem to be, in most businesses, a loyal customer, worthy of good service. Never again! read more

One of the best customer service experiences. MJ has such a positive and welcoming attitude she made me feel very comfortable and she knew a lot about the animals at petco! read more

Angie in grooming is AWESOME! My grand fur baby Oreo doesn't like getting his front paw nails clipped but she was able to get them done. She gave him the time and attention he needed. I appreciate you treating him like your own!! I will be driving 45-50 minutes for grooming but it's worth it!! read more

Petco - All smiles! - Pet Stores Near Me - Arlington, Texas

I experienced new groomers at the Petco in Arlington on W. Green Oaks where I have taken by two dogs, a 9 year old yorky and a 7 year old shitzu for over 7 years. I dropped them off and one hour and forty minutes later get a call saying they could not get the shitzu out of her kennel. They told me to come pick her up and had not touched the other one. The groomers were rude and appeared to not know enough about dogs to be groomers. Never again will I try them again. I never experienced problems until the former staff was replaced. Do better Petco! read more

i love this store! Angie does amazing work! But I definitely would like to acknowledge Andrea . When King (my rotti) got to his appointment he was little hyper from the ride over. The interaction Andrea had with King to calm him down was amazing!!! Both of these ladies are true professionals. I appreciate the good work you ladies did with King! Thank you! read more

All the employees are kind, inclusive and polite. Special shout out to MJ for wonderful customer service. You can tell she really loves the customers as much as she loves the animals. read more

The Petco in Arlington Tx, N. Collins, Tom Thumb shopping center, while grooming our small dog they CUT OFF her rear dewclaw. They were trimming nails and cutting hair at the same time. She's half trimmed, missing a toe, wearing a cone, and on meds. She'll be ok. The hospital put in stitches. This is truly unacceptable and should never had happened. I will never use this Petco for grooming again. This happened Sunday, 09/10/23. read more

I went to this Petco because it is near me. This Petco is located in a shopping center near a Kroger. The parking is not easy to park in plus it is a crowded area. The store is long and skinny not real big. This store seems small and crowed and not very good lighting. The Petco I was going too closed. It was a very large and very nice bright and clean. I'm sorry they closed that location. The prices at Petco are not great but that is the norm for pet supplies. The sales can be good. You just have to be lucky to show up on a sale day. The service is fair not great. I just see a cashier usually and they are busy checking people out. Good place to get dog treats. Not sure about fish supplies. I need to go back and look around. And Petco is a great place to rescue a dog or a cat. read more

I loved the products and the customer service I was helped by Peyton who was very helpful and very kind she helped me with getting the fundamentals for starting my fish tank. In my opinion she deserves a raise. no matter how many questions or concerns I had she was their to answer them. I am definitely going back to this location. I highly recommend coming here for what you need for any pet. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET FOR GROOMING TO THIS LOCATON. Andrea has no sense of grooming and zero experience. i don't know if the previous feedback is paid by her, but she is totally not experienced at all. she injured my dog ear and she shaved down my dog down to the bone without my permission. I have already escalated the situation to the Petco district and corporate for a resolution before i file a lawsuit against the groomer and Petco for the emotional damage and injury to my pet. What an experience. read more

I love this petco and my mom and I go there all the time. We really appreciate the knowledge of some the workers like Lindsey. They have a good selection of dog food! read more

For over a year now my family has been going to see Angie at Petco. I have three rescue dogs and she not only takes wonderful care of them and makes them look oh so very cute, but the whole team loves on them while they are there. It's one of my Boyz favorite places to visit. Angie is the best! Thank you for your detailed and loving grooming of our Boyz especially Buddy Bear who has been battling allergy and skin issues... And thanks for Hershey and Roto too. If you use any groomer, check out Petco off Green Oaks in Arlington by Kroger. Ask for Angie (by the way there are two...both will take wonderful care of and make your fur babies look beautiful! Sincerely, Rebecca read more

I'm a regular at this Petco now (I adopted a puppy about a month ago). This location has a wonderful staff; every member I have met has been super friendly and helpful. I always end up having a conversation with one or two of them whenever I visit. It is a clean store, and even when my puppy had an accident on the floor, a worker told me to not worry about it and proceeded to clean it up himself rather than let me use the customer clean-up station provided. My puppy has been going to training classes with Kim and she works very well with him. The training is very professional yet friendly and easy-going enough for my pup to not realize this is his "school." She has also helped me save money by giving me numerous coupons. This Petco is cramped inside a smaller plaza and without a lot of parking. This isn't a huge issue but the busy Kroger next door makes walking across the main road of the parking lot (with a puppy) a little scary! Not that this is Petco's issue, but please, Kroger drivers: SLOW DOWN. All in all, five stars all around! read more

The store may be smaller and hidden but the real gem is the people working there. They make me feel at home and eager to help with my dog.

If you go to this location, and you're a person of color, they will follow you around the store and have someone stand by the front door until you check out. It's very obvious this is what they're doing. I'm always aware of my surroundings. Funny it never occurs to anyone I know that's white, but people of color I know say the same thing. This time, the cashier was just standing by the front door with stickers in her hand, and another employee just standing there by the front area (both pretending to be doing something, but not actually doing anything). No one was at the register. They weren't randomly standing there until after I entered the store. In the past a person would follow me around without asking if I needed help, and other employees would go stand by the door. This time at least I was asked if I needed anything, or needed my items carried to the front. Another funny thing is after I checked out, the cashier that was originally standing by the door holding stickers (as if she was doing something) sat the stickers down, and stayed at the cash register. There were no other customers behind me. I'd assume if she and the other random employee near the door initially would finish what they had to do, if they had real work to do. Nope after I left they left. I watched from my car a few minutes as other white males entered the store, and nope the door wasn't magically guarded. It also hasn't happened to any of my white family members. I know because I've asked to pay attention. They all said no one stands by the door or follows them around. Could it be a coincidence, I highly doubt it. Because of how many occasions this has happened. This has been happening at this location for years. I'm just now making a review about it. People need to be made aware, and this location needs to be made aware their stereotyping is obvious. Next time I'll take my camera and film them in action when I shop. It's 2022, you'd think profiling based on skin color would be over with. The good thing is the cashier was nice when I checked out. So, I don't believe it's all of the individual employees on their own. Whoever is instructing them is the issue. read more

Petco groomer JORDAN is outstanding! I have a rescue pitt/ mastiff mix that needed his nails clipped. Bodhi is 6 yrs old and has spent the last 4 years in a no kill shelter. It was a great place to be a dog! Lexee's Legacy in Celina Texas! Bodhi was scared. Jordan was so good with him! She didn't hurt him at all! I'll recommend Petco groomers on Greenoaks to everyone! Thank you Jordan! read more

Me and my girlfriend went to this location Petco because I saw the reviews are good, The guy that work there on 08/09/19, Was the only one that ask us if we fine everything alright, But when I ask one of the girls that work there was kinda mean I ask her if she knew where they sell pet rats toys? She turned around and look at me with a mean look and said ya there back there some where! I kinda got offended if that employee attitude and the cashier lady goes by the name (Lindsey), Was being rude to my girlfriend my girlfriend was going through so me stress so she was kinda sleepy and (Lindsey) the cashier was laughing and giggling at my girlfriend! Which that I fine that to be very "unprofessional" And the only reason I didn't respond back to her negative behavior is because I didn't won't any trouble...:-( read more

Beware of getting your dog groomed here. We believe they drug the dogs. Took our dog several times... The last 2 times, she shakes like a leaf, when we get there. (Just thought it was the other dogs barking that scared her) They never cut the way we ask, always too short. And she acts weird when we pick her up... Not herself. Then, in the middle of the night, when the drugs wear off.. She's full of energy and ready to play. We will not go back! read more

This Petco is by FAR the best Petco I've ever been to. We were helped immediately upon entering the store. All of our questions and concerns for our new puppy were addressed! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We are strongly considering having our puppy training done here. Will be back for sure! read more

Decided to take my dog to this location for a grooming. (Had a terrible experience @ another location) I had my reservations but hoped for the best. While scheduling the appointment the lady seemed really happy & enthusiastic. When I arrived for the appointment she had the same positive attitude. It was 8 in the morning & I was surprised. We spoke about what services I needed & she said she would give me a call when my pup was ready. I was glad it didn't take long. The cut was a little shorter than I wanted and not the style I prefer, but I am still satisfied. I will, without a doubt, go back to this location. read more

Sales person was not very knowledgeable about the fish in the store. I was looking for a certain species of fish and I was sold something totally opposite. Fishes in tanks did not match the labels that identified them. Be very careful shopping at this store. read more

I love going to Petco, I go about every weekend and this is by far the best Petco around! The staff here are sooo helpful and nice! I was buying a ferret and I had multiple conversations with a few employees. They all knew so much and were incredibly helpful, most of them having ferrets as pets of their own. I came in with a broken water bottle and they switched it out with no problems! I've never had such great customer service at a Petco! They really care about their job, customers, and of course the animals! If you need advice or have questions about any of your pets I would suggest coming to this Petco. read more
