Don't buy animals from here! Recently there were a few boxes "dumped" at this location. In one of the boxes was 2 BONDED 1 year old, female rabbits. This store broke a BONDED pair of rabbits for profit. Rabbits that were dumped. I was working with an associate of this location on adopting the bonded pair, MONEY WAS PAID! It was a SOLD deal and one of the rabbits was sold to someone else. I'll continue to share this story with every outlet I possibly can. There's nothing but, CRUELTY at this pet store! Date of visit: January 27, 2024 I always forget about this store, mostly because I do not find myself in this area often, but having visited recently, perhaps it was intuition telling me to stay away! Upon entering the store, the smell is anything but welcoming. I can't recall any other pet store having such an unpleasant smell from the moment you enter the facility. The store itself also appears like it hasn't been maintained or remodeled in quite some time. If you encounter staff on the salesfloor, they will not acknowledge you in any way, either. I had a gift card and came looking for dog treats. Unfortunately our pooch has some allergies so we look for limited ingredient treats, but there were very few options to choose from. After searching high and low and finding one thing, I headed to the checkout. The young man did not greet me, even after I said, "Hello" to him. He scanned my item and gave me my total. I asked him if I needed to slide the gift card or if he needed it. He response was to walk away from me, pick up a phone and call someone else to come up front. He then stood and waited with his arms folded until someone else came up and did something at a different register with the gift card in order for me to redeem it. I wish I had redeemed the entire gift card so I wouldn't have to go back to this store to use the balance. read more

Reptile neglect through the roof. Absolutely insane pricing for a malnourished and most likely diseased bearded dragon. Not only do none of the reptiles have the correct care, but most look sickly and poorly taken care of. Asking $175 for a half dead beardie is horrible. I feel terrible for the little guy. Get your act together PetWorld. read more

I used to enjoy the animals in this store; However, the care and compassion for these animals has gone downhill. On my trip this past weekend I saw a gerbil laying dead in his cage, reptile waters filled with algae, betta fish swimming in containers filled with algae, and 4-5 finches together in one SMALL bird cage as well as 4-5 parakeets together in small bird cages.. I will no longer support this business until something changes. Don't sell animals if you cannot provide proper care. read more

I paid over twice the price than the same thing from Amazon. They only have a 7 day return policy and don't give store credit if you miss it. Not a good way to keep customers. read more

We usually stop here to pick Purina's Pro Plan dry food for cats, and the Pro Plan wet food. They have a program where if you buy 10 of the 3.5lb or 6lb bags of food respectively, you can turn in the receipts for a free bag of food. Save those receipts, it can a $14 to $19 reward. Pet World is a big warehouse but very well laid out. If you are into fish, they have a very nice selection. We are more into the feline type of pets, and look forward seeing if kittens are up for adoption with each visit. It has been hit or miss over the last several visits. Pet World is a very clean and well laid out store. The prices are on point with the big box stores and the employees very helpful. Check them out! read more

I feel this pet store deserves more credit than the reviews that are posted. I go to this store every week to get frozen and live rats for my Ball Pythons (I know what your response is to the live rats comment, but we had to switch or the snake would have died from starvation). Anyway, they have very young staff who, I assume, this is their first job or temporary job and at times don't always have the right answer to questions. However, I will say that everyone is always helpful, and once you figure out how their store runs, things run smoothly. They are always my first choice for all my pet needs, as I have a good variety. I've never had an issue with any Pet World Warehouse locations and enjoy taking the usual tour of the store with my 2 year old before making my purchase of the week. Also, if they don't have what I'm looking for my second choice is Friends of Nature who I highly recommend as well. read more

They have no voicemail and the link to their website is nonexistent. So, there is no way to see their hours. Store itself is mediocre.

It suits my occasional needs. I've not had problems getting help when needed, nor have I never been greeted when entering. As another posted, their checkout area is "clunky" at times. I've had to check large bags of food out at the entrance side of the area and push the stuff around to the other side to leave. It's a warehouse and not fancy. read more

Good selection of supplies for pets but was super sad to find out they have bunnies they get from local breeders! Adopted a bunny from a shelter myself because they are in such huge supply there. The three biggest pet stores - PetCo, PetSmart and Pet Supplies Plus no longer sell bunnies because of this! PetWorld should be doing the same... read more

Walk into store planning to buy everything needed for new puppy but walked out empty handed. Not one employee greeted me nor asked if any assistance was needed. There were a group of employees all in the front of store talking and laughing in their on conversation. Won't waste my time tying to come back again. read more

Very bad mismanagement. No help when needed. I buy large bags of dog food and they have it set up so you have to bring your product to the counter where you walk in ( opposite of where you leave the store). I have brought this issue to management to switch the check out to the side you leave on. They think they know what they are doing by ignoring the customer. Also when you need help and go to the front of the store where ALL the employees seem to congregate, they roll their eyes as it is an effort to help you. Let's get rid of this crap hole. read more

I don't normally shop here because I don't like the way they keep their small animals. But today I had no choice because I was out of cat food, had no car and the were in walking distance. I have a major issue with the selling of kittens at this store. They say they are from "accidental litters" They should be referring people to HAWS instead of trying to make a buck off of these kittens. Anyway.... and they had a single sad kitten in a large cage. The cage and littler box were very clean and the kitten looked pretty healthy, but only a single layer of newspaper lined the bottom of the cage. There was absolutely nothing for it to rest or sleep on. Not a towel, not a blanket and not a bed. Nothing. A comfortable place to rest is a basic right for all shelter and rescue pets. This kitten should have the same (especially considering the store is filled with this stuff) I mentioned it to the person behind the counter and she said they put something for it to sleep on at night. Really? Cats/kittens rest/ sleep many times in a day. It just looked bad. I won't go back (except to check on that kitten) and I know many people who feel the same. read more

Please think twice about buying marine fish here. Their marine tanks where cloudy with sediment, covered in algae and their live rock (outrageously priced at $12.99/lb) was covered in aptasia. Today I saw a clown struggling in a filthy tank and asked it I could take it, put it in quarantine and treat it with medications and they stated they would rather let it die. Wonder if that is how they treat all their sick animals? Please choose somewhere that actually cares about their pets, no matter how small. read more
