The Pet Supermarket felt exactly like the name, a big nothing unique pet store with several aisles of various inventory. The Petco surprisingly had many sections that mimicked an amusement park theme providing a pet shopping adventure instead of a common pet store. Upon entry they had a small carriage full of custom doggy treats for sale in a variety of flavors. In addition to endless bundles of dry food including a cooler loaded with gourmet healthy option called Just For Dogs and Just For Cats, but be prepared to pay the piper from $10.99 - $44.95. The flavors vary including Venison Squash and Turkey & Whole Wheat Macaroni. The Petco Zoo was my favorite section with live rabbits, hamsters, ferrets and fish amonst many other pet options. The prices at Petco seem to be in line with other retail pet stores who continue to deal with the behemoth Amazon at every turn. Fortunately, this store provided a fun shopping experience which Amazon cannot. They offer a Vetco total care veterinary hospital for your pet's health needs. In addition, this store provides a full service grooming area that includes washing, nails, and tick care. Also, cats are available in store for adoption and dog adoptions from a Hollywood location called We Love Animals Rescue Inc.

After paying the deposit -and asking for an updated pic/video - his reply is he "didn't have time and didn't want to hire a professional photographer. Would not consider sending even a picture from his cell phone. He would not even provide weight of Mother and Father of puppy. 2) BEWARE IF THE PUPPY YOU PICK UP LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN ONLINE PHOTO- REVIEW THOROUGHLY ALL PAPERWORK- and call to verify EVERYTHING regarding health. Do not let your excitement to adopt a puppy cause you to overlook red flags! JAMES the CON MAN owner- had no record of puppy parent weight- I needed a doggy whom I could carry everywhere- he lied about expected weight. He was so convincing, I did not suspect he would be SCAMMING ME. "Fonzi's" health certificate EXPIRED the day after I paid for her! On the drive home, she had diarrhea and coughed throughout the trip! Con man James only gave me kibble mixed with CHEERIOS for her saying he was "out of Little Ceasars. The next day was a Sunday so I had to go to an emergency vet cuz "Fonzi's" eyes were swollen and still coughing. She was diagnosed with an eye and respiratory infection and a heart murmur! 3) Beware of calling Con Man James if there is a problem. I was so heartbroken about "Fonzi's" many afflictions- I called him about a week later while constantly devoted to helping my FAKE "Fonzi" -and he made me feel it was my fault. He said to give honey to "Fonzi" for the cough...and that a heart murmur was "normal - and to go to another Vet and get a second opinion! I asked why "Fonzi" was still listed as "available" on his website..... he said "his wife just hadn't had time to indicate she was sold." 4 MONTHS LATER- "Fake Fonzi" was STILL available! ( apparently his wife is STILL " too busy" to update the website) Without listing a birthdate- obviously many "Fonzi's" have been "sold"......and James continued to falsely claim that "Fonzi" had been "discounted" by $1K...... for as I've monitored the website for FOUR MONTHS- "discounted Fonzi" is still $2500.... and no mention that this did NOT include nearly $200 in TAXES! 3) DO NOT GO ALONE TO ADOPT A PUPPY! Con man James preys on those who love dogs and want to believe the best. 4) DO NOT BELIEVE the "teacup/tiny" designation from this Con man. He gets away with this FALSE ADVERTISING to take advantage of those truly needing a tiny dog 5) I have cried over and over fighting with my "fake-Fonzi's" through medical battles- and burdened by the HUGE medical bills that resulted from being conned. I have been heartbroken thinking she would die. But con men like James know that those he scams will love their adopted dogs - and cannot fight him because of emotional attachments. But any so called "Dog Boutique" owner who feeds puppies CHEERIOS and bullies a customer into believing it's " okay"..... is to be questioned about EVERYTHING. I wanted to just "get on with" life doing my best to love and care for my "fake Fonzi".... yet when seeing on Dog Boutique website 4 MONTHS AFTER I ADOPTED my "Fonzi".... that "Fake Fonzi" is still FOR SALE as a "teacup/tiny" puppy for "discounted" price of $2500- with EXACT SAME DESCRIPTION and photos and videos........ I had to write this review to expose this predator- and encourage dog lovers to NOT BELIEVE DOG SELLING WEBSITES NO MATTER HOW "AUTHENTIC and PROFESSIONAL" they seem. As soon as I walked inside the well maintained store, I could hear a loud excessive chirping. As I followed the irrirating sound, it brought me to a bird in a cage next to the parakeets, rabbit and guinea pig. The bird was called Sun Conure and was wonderfully colorful but no way would this hand-fed loud annoying creature live in my house, especially for $1,500.00. The staff was friendly and assisted me looking for dog bone treats and chewy items.

I stumbled upon this boutique earlier in the year when I noticed they just opened. Then went back more recently to shop for gifts for the holidays. Elegant Puppies is aesthetically pleasing as soon as you walk up to the store. You'll find a tall dog made of fake grass at the entrance to greet you. Once you walk in, you might realize you can't afford anything in here. Ha. Kidding. But they do have a gorgeous set up and very cool and funky pet clothing, beds, travel gear and snacks. They also have pets you can adopt. The pets are cute but they look so sad. I suppose I would be sad too if I was locked up like that. Sigh. I really loved the cool futuristic travel pet cases. He was extremely nice and helpful and I can see he is working hard to stock his customers needs. If you go in there for something and he doesn't have it, he will try to stock it for your future purchase. He went the extra mile to show me his birds and even found some birds calls on the internet. I mostly saw fish and birds items and he also had some cute puppies. My four is not for the size of the store but for the service he gave me.
