Staff is friendly, helpful and very resourceful. In terms of helping you with any concerns you have with your pet. In my case, it's a finicky cat. It's my go to store without a doubt. read more

The staff was so helpful! I needed things to set up a fish tank and the employee was so helpful and informative explaining what I would need and why. This saved me so much time! I had all of the information I needed and have set up my fish tank in my classroom. I am now looking forward to getting the fish. I will be back soon! read more

Everyone is so friendly and kind to my dog! She loves our trips there! They always give me the best price too, better than Amazon!

This store has the feel of an old time neighborhood store. I love shopping in here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Great customer service! Personalized, knowledgeable and happy! Quite refreshing! Always a great selection of products from high end to affordable. read more

I love the store always has everything in stock that I need for my puppies and kitties

Back in my day, this used to be a Blockbuster! Okay, now that I've established I'm ancient, here comes the review. I needed several pet things and stopped here while out running errands. I was actually planning to stop at Park Ave Pets, but they hadn't yet opened for the day. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me get a heavy bag of outdoor bird seed into my trunk. They have a great selection of dog treats and rawhides, many made in USA so you don't have to worry about feeding the scary stuff to your pets. I don't *love* pet stores that sell animals and think it's kind of sad, but at a glance none of them seemed to be in distress. Parking is ample and removes the anxiety of having to find street parking. read more

Pet Supplies Plus Monroe Ave - Canary - Pet Stores Near Me - Rochester, New York

My local cat must-have-right-MEOW! spot. Picky kitties like a buffet of food a treat options at all times, and if we run low, I can find a pretty good selection at this location. It can get pretty hairy in here at times when the shipment truck is in, because I suspect they do a pretty large volume of inventory turnover being the sole source dedicated chain pet store to the immediate downtown area, but the staff in here are always great and will help you find or reach anything you need. They have dog wash in the back, regular vet clinics, and a cat adoption space. Parking is easy in their own lot, and they will help you carry mobile/online/heavy orders right out to your car. If you bring your fur baby, prepare to have it fawned over- these folks are real pet lovers :) As of 3/8 they do close at 8pm M-Sat (6pm Sun)- my only complaint- but that's corporate, not them! read more

Pet Suoplies Plus is doing deliveries with orders over $35, curbside pickup, as well as in store shopping. I have done each of these this week. New pets need new toys, etc and of course, you can't forget the not new pets! I wanted to see cat condos in person because some things are just better viewedi that way. What I didn't know is they come home with you fully assembled. So bring a large car or I guess view in person and see if they will deliver? Super happy with their customer service in all venues! read more

Pet Supplies Plus Monroe Ave - New cat condo at home - Pet Stores Near Me - Rochester, New York

I remember when we moved into the area and this space was a wait for it.. Blockbuster Video. No more kids. It's a nice little supply store for not just you your doggies or kitty cats but you can get bird food, fish food and etc (which we like to do) to feed Yellow Finches, Hummingbirds and the like. You can bring in your furry friend to take a look around. What's nice for us as it's a quick walk down if we need something and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The inside is light and bright and you can find items. We either get emails or a printed ad mailer. Parking is in the back or street parking. read more

Pet Supplies Plus is my top pick for all cat related purchases! Pet Supplies Plus hits the mark in service, pricing, and cleanliness every time I am there. My boyfriend's two cats are fairly low maintenance, so we tend to just stick to the basics: litter, treats, food, and the occasional toy. We make a special stop at PSS (as opposed to buying pet supplies from a larger/big box store) because of the employees and the selection. Not only will they have everything you're looking for, but they will answer any questions you have with grace and patience. Pro tip: BEST pricing I've seen on the litter genie (which, honestly, how did any cat owner ever live without the litter genie? Cat magic.) It's conveniently located, too - so be sure to swing by and treat your pet (or YOURSELF) to something special (...litter genie) read more

Ordered 2 bags of kibble Friday morning, website said delivery would arrive by 8 pm Friday. The spam coupon I used wasn't processed, but also didn't tell me it was refused. Kibble didn't arrive in time. Saturday midday got an auto email saying kibble would arrive Saturday. It did not. I called the local store on Sunday morning. The manager said the kibble was delivered on Saturday, but described a house that is not mine. Sunday around 7 pm I finally got the 2 bags of kibble I ordered on Friday morning. Awful corporation, even worse local store. Avoid!! read more

Great selection and awesome customer service. Staff were quick to help us and make recommendations. They even gave our dog a little cookie as a birthday present! Location is convenient and store has big aisles (good for walking dogs through). I did see live animals (rodents, birds, fish) for sale, which I'm never a fan of. But this really felt like a place that cares about animals. read more

Love the store but the website is horrible. Sometimes takes forever to load or not at all. Not my computer as other sites open up without problem. I have rewards I cannot redeem as I cannot get into the website. read more

the staff here is always kind and helpful! I also appreciate their selection--it can be hard to find good toys and harnesses for rabbits, but they're always in stock here! (as well as everything we need for our cat/guinea pig as well :) ) read more

My go-to pet supply store for my bird and two dogs. The staff is always friendly and helpful and I always find what I need and their prices are usually better than the big box stores too! Love the bulk dog snacks! The best pet is that they are close by and I don't have to drive to the 'burbs every time I need dog food! read more

Went today to try out the dog bath... such a deal for 10$! I am HAPPY to pay that to keep the mess out of my bathroom. They do supply shampoo but I brought my own. They even supplied towels! I paid that much at my last place to use a cold concrete room and had to supply towels myself. Employees have always been super friendly and helpful at every visit. They clearly put work into selecting and training the people they hire. The current cats inhabiting the cat room were much more relaxed about dogs, which was nice to see. I was even able to work on reinforcing my dog to ignore the cats. All in all a welcome addition to Monroe Ave and a needed resource for city dog owners. read more

I went there to bathe my dog in their self serve wash. Their elevated tub is much easier than bathing him at home and their price was very reasonable. I do wish they had a bigger elevated area for drying him, but I'll still take him back. read more

I wish I could give 10 stars. The employees at this location could give classes on what creating a true customer experience is like. Over the last two years, every single employee I have encountered there has been warm, friendly, and helpful. They have great prices, the store is always clean and organized, and even if you walk in 20 minutes before they close because you forgot you were out of cat food, they will still take the time to be conversational and make you feel like a valued customer. It really is a treat to shop here and my daughter and I enjoy ourselves every time. read more

I bought 4 small fish from this store. 2 days later my entire community tank came down with ICH. I called them and they said that all of their tanks have ich currently. They said all they could do is take back the fish and refund what I paid for them. My entire tank needs to be treated and all of my fish are ill. They said there is nothing else they can do. They said that it is there fault, but will not help with treatment or help in any other way other than showing me where to buy medicine for it in their store. read more
