If I have known the store policy is different from what the employee was stating, then I wouldn't have made the purchase. The manager would not honor what the employee has stated. Amazing Service! I had a need for a specialty dog food for one of my rescues. It was a Sunday evening around 6pm and I really didn't expect them to be open much less to have the dog food I needed. I was pleasantly surprised that they are open til 9pm on Sunday AND that they carry a huge variety of dog food, including specialty foods. When I got to the store, the service was great and the food was easy to find. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! I will definitely be back. read more

We've been coming to Pet Supplies Plus since they opened! It's a family owned with amazing employees. We just using their grooming services with Misty as our groomer. We have Enzo, the full sized Goldendoodle (60lbs) & Brownie, the mini Merle/Tri-Color Goldendoodle (22lbs). Misty did a great job discussing my desires for their cuts before taking them in. I also paid a little extra for both dogs to have the "Spa Treatment" and it was worth it. They came back smelling and looking great! I hope you'll give them a shot! read more

I came in seeking information on dog kibble recommendations for my 4 dogs. Each, with there own issues. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman that helped me, I believe she was a manager, because she started with asking me about my dogs and their needs. Then she proceeded to explain the various brands and helped me understand nutritional levels, etc. She was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. This store is my "go to" for pet supplies. read more

The manager was not helpful at all after I had issue with a young girl in the back with the small pets. I went to the manager I believe her name was Taylor but she made no time to step away from the gossip with another employ to help. The store is ran by kids most of the time, Or is at least how it feel and seems. I used to love coming to pet supply plus but I will not be back after that experience. I've been a manger for a automative shop for quite some time now and I would never let my employs act like they act in that store. The manager has probably no experience the by the way she act and holds her self. I use to only shop here in California before moving to the Katy area. But there are better option in the area. It's a shame that the store doesn't have a better leader and more mature and respectful employees. I could go on and on about my trips there and how many times I've had issues with the same manager and the Embarrassment some the employees give the store. read more

Love using the grooming service at Pet Supply Plus in Katy West! The towels and shampoos have always been well stocked and the tubs have always been clean! The dryer is the perfect temp (warm - not hot or cold). The aprons provided have been a blessing because my dog loves to shake before the blow dry is complete. Great service for the price! read more

This is a really great pet store dare buy fish from them. I'm not saying that the fish are bad or anything. I've bought a lot of mine from them. But I had to return a fish because they randomly died. Then for no reason was told they wouldn't refund my money, because I had a wrong fish in my tank.... only when I got home, after having to argue to get my fish replaced, did I see they rung me up for the wrong fish in the very first receipt. I had a little catfish, not what the receipt said.... so I got accused that I didn't know what I was doing with my tank, and she was just down right rude. Do not deal with Leah at all if possible. And not mention your animals. Go to the new PetSmart, not one person is rude and they actually help you with your tank. As for Leah, she made me feel like I had no idea how to run my tank, and being rude to a customer is just very bad for business. I will not be purchasing any more supplies or fish from them again because of this experience. Which is sad, because I used to like shopping there. read more

We took our dog a maltipoo for his first grooming and came back home in tears. We had specifically told them not to cut too much but they almost complete cut off all his hair. He doesn't look even close to the same dog and my daughters are still in tears. Please if you do take your dog to this store be very specific about what length hair cut you need to avoid what happened with us. Not recommended, doubt I'll go back for a grooming here again. read more

You can't find a better pet shop than this one. I've gone countless times since they've opened and every single of those times has been refreshingly pleasant. Their employees are actually out there WANTING TO HELP YOU! On several occasions, they've carried out my dog food to my car for me! And they're very knowledgeable about the products! Store is super clean, well organized, they carry higher end products and have great sales. I take advantage of their self dog wash station; they include the shampoo, towels, aprons, everything.
