I came in and greeted right away by a very nice man. Told him what I was looking for, and he walked me over. There were multiple choices, so he patiently walked through them with me. I wandered through the store afterwards, cause I've never been in there before, I bought a couple of other things. And then I talked to another nice man about buying dog food in the future and asked 1 million questions and he was very kind. I had thought I've been to this location before, but I guess not. I went in to get my baby Thunder, his belated birthday presents with my son. I found things right away that I wanted for him. They had quite a good selection of toys and bigger things to play with and towers. The employees were very very nice especially the one woman who is a volunteer there. We ended up talking for a long time about a cat named Ralph who is there right now, in need of a good home. He's two years old and just the sweetest thing ever. I wanted to bring him home so bad but I already have three kitties so I didn't think it was a good idea, but I am regretting it now I wish I would've gotten him and I still might. But if anybody out there before me read this and is a cat person, and treats them well and loves them and does everything for them like they're your children and please go adopt this baby. He's healthy, he's loving, he's beautiful, he's neutered, and he's just so sweet. They had a really big selection of tags for cats and dogs there, including Buffalo Sabres, New York Yankees, etc. They even have a big , I don't know what to call it exactly but like a playroom where you can interact with an animal to see if you want to take it home. That was pretty cool. I definitely will return to this Pet Supplies Plus location, especially because it's on my way home from so many different doctors appointments that I'm always in the area. This review is about their on line purchasing and curbside pickup. I needed to order a bag of cat food and didn't want to run all over town looking for it. It's often difficult to find this brand in stock. Thinking what did I have to loose, I went to my location of Pet Supplies Plus and checked their on line purchases. First it turned out to be very user friendly and didn't leave me going in circles as sometimes happens with apps. I easily found the option for curbside pickup and selected it. Then I looked to for the cat food and was very happy to see that they had both size bags and it was very easy to see that they were both in stock at my location. Next I filled in my information ,paid for it, and joined their rewards program even though I'm actually already in the program. It was part of the on line account process , so I'm not certain how their system handles connecting the two. The only part that I wasn't sure about was the pick up time, but it said they would send you an email when it was ready for pick up. I placed the order at 12:17 and it was ready at 1:30. I thought that was an excellent amount of time, as I was running other errands anyway. When I arrived at the Pet Supplies location I called the number in my email and was given option 0 for curbside pick up. The gentleman said to pull right up to the door, and as soon as I did , he came out with the food. He was fully masked, asked where I would like it put in the car and was very pleasant. It was a terrifically easy process and one I would use again and definitely recommend. read more

I took my female 1yr old black mouth cur to get her nails cut by Alycia B. Miss Alycia seemed very knowledgeable and sweet, asking me questions to get to know how my dog will react. Miss Alycia even offered tips on how to keep the dog distracted with cheese on a stick. Until i walked around the store to give them space (dogs act up when their parents are around) I heard across the store yelling: "No. Stop." "It's always the rescue dogs" across the store. I Do Not Recommend Alycia B. for she can seem well rounded but is truly a hypocrite and offensive when you walk away. read more

I'm a big fan of this location and the staff. I recently adopted 2 cats and every time I've had a question about a product the staff has been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They also offer online ordering with store pickup which I've used a few times and it's been great. Basically every time I placed an online order, they email me a coupon for another online order so it's worth it. Their prices are also on par, at least for Science Diet cat food and flea medicine, since I've been comparing their prices with other pet stores in the area. Lastly, they're great about coupons. Not just for online ordering but even for manufacturer coupons. They have a coupon organizer in the store and will give you coupons if you're buying that product. They've also emailed me some GREAT manufacturer coupons for Science Diet that took about 40% off the price of dry cat food! I highly recommend checking them out if you have pets and like to save money. Also if you have a dog, they have a self-service dog washing station in the store. read more

Supplies for your pet, no less. Pet Supplies Plus was a huge surprise to me. I've driven past it 1,362 times without ever noticing it. I stopped in here to look for toys for my kittens, and what did I find? KITTENS! In need of adoption :( :( :( Look at the pix! One of them reminded me of my son (Johnny C) so much that I literally wanna go back and buy him asap. If nobody does in the next week or so, I probably will even though I can't afford it and have like 10 others. Awwwwwww. So yeah. Totally heartbreaking. They're out in the open so you can pet them and everything. So sad. Lots of birds and ferrets and such too. They have an immense amount of organic product here which is awesome. Some of it has been sitting on the shelves for awhile though. Also it's extremely overpriced. And a chain, from Michigan, with 28 states and 230 locations or something. But since this place made me literally cry my eyes out and that hardly ever happens anymore, I have to give it a 5. Plus they have fantastic customer service, I even got a lovely friendly response from the business PR leader. Usually these responses will challenge negative things you said, or at least focus on the negative. This one was just lovely and friendly and personable and I appreciated it. read more

Great selection of stuff and very friendly people, they went out of their way to take care of us!

We come here mainly after the dog park in order to use their dog wash facilities. They are always well stocked with towels, different shampoos, and conditioners. Our dog hates it, especially the dryer, but they give you all the tools needed for a great wash. Afterwards we usually let her walk around the store and pick out a treat or toy. The staff is always very helpful and they always have lots of treats on hand for her. One of my favorite pet stores in the area! read more

I do my best to support local business rather than Amazon. Pet supplies plus's coupons definitely help as well as their price matching. Unfortunately customer service is uneven. Today I was literally carrying/juggling 4 items in my arms but the cashier stuck his hand in my face and waved another customer with 1 can of cat food to step ahead of me. When I presented my coupon on my phone, he asked to look at it twice as if I had presented some counterfeit. I had to give him my phone number twice since he didn't seem to believe there were area codes aside from 716. Treating customers like 2nd class criminals is not a great way to compete with the anonymous efficiency of online ordering. read more

I took my puppy there for grooming and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. First the associates didn't tell us the correct pricing information when we made the appointment and end up paying more than what we were told when the day came for the appointment. Second, the cut on my puppy was terrible. All the fur were unevenly cut. It was suppose to be a full groom but it definitely wasn't. They cut the body only but not the head area.... It was suppose to include, nail trimming which the nails are sharp for the front paws, the ears wasn't cleaned. read more

I love being able to order online for curbside pick up, it makes it easy to just stop by without having to get my kids out of the car for a quick trip. The customer service is always great and the delivery of my order to my car is fast. The only downside is, the website is always slow to load and there's not an app to download on my phone to make orders or schedule grooming for my dog. They have an awesome pet bathing station! Brought my GSD here for the first time today. They have scented shampoo, hypoallergenic shampoo, shampoo/conditioner mix and one other one. Little leash holds your dog steady so they can't jump out, and there's a very handy air dryer that you can use to dry your pup after bathing. This review is for grooming in particular. We were going to another Pet Supplies Plus location and had a few bad experiences. We chose this location for one groomer in particular and had great experiences. She knew how to handle dogs of all personalities. That groomer has since left, but we brought our pets back and tried another groomer. I don't know what happened, but our normal mellow, happy-go-lucky, loves everyone dog got super stressed out and the groomer couldn't and didn't want to finish up. The groomer tried to charge full price as well. My husband went to the store manager and the bill was discounted, but that was enough for us. Without our favorite groomer who knows how to handle dogs and did a great job of grooming there will be no reason to go back. The store itself is okay, kind of run down, but carries a few things I have trouble finding elsewhere. Due to our bad experience we are going to find another outlet for our pet supplies as well. read more

I regularly visit this branch of pet supplies plus (its location is convenient). All the staff have been very good with my rescue dog, who has been known to get nervous. They have a very good range of pet products. I do find some prices a little higher than other locations, which is why I took a star off, but they have a price matching service. I bought a pair of budgies from this place. their wings were clipped. it looked like the person who clipped their wings had no idea how to clip a budgie's wings because it looks like it will take months for it to grow back. the other thing was that the budgies didn't know what a spray millet was at all. it took me a full week to introduce spray millet to them. the staff were really nice and somehow tricked me into buying a mix of food that my budgies don't eat and aren't familiar with at all. if you're planning on buying a pet from there, don't. and if you're planning on buying food or pet toys, just don't listen to the staff because they will get you to buy something useless. I give this place 1 and a half stars. and by the way, I trained the budgies and they're ok now. the budgies weren't very friendly but it was expected. it takes time to get them to like you but by clipping their wings and never introducing spray millets to them, it slows the process 10x read more

I took my dog Lucas to get groomed and they took his collar off and lost then lied and said I was the one who did it. When talking to the employees, they continue to tell me that I liked and then I spoke to the manager who had zero customer services.she proceeded to tell me that I was a lier and that basically all I wanted was a free collar from their store. I have been taking my dog there and using their services for a very long time. I was so angry at the lack of customer service and the treatment I received from the employees and also from the manager. I will never take my dog there again and do not recommend this place. They didn't take responsibility for their actions. And when telling them I had evidence and pictures that I have taken of my dog wearing the collar the day that I took him to get groomed , they basically said that was a lie to even though my husband was with me all day and was my witness. It isn't about the collar is about the principal , it is not good practice or good customer service to treat a costumer like they treated me. I have a good history of being a great customer in the past, they should have handled the situation better instead of calling me a lier , take responsibility of the their employees not being careful about their job and losing customers belongings. Will never step foot on that pet supplies place on Sheridan and will make sure to tell my friends about what they did to me so that no one ever have to go through this terrible of experience. read more
