Friendly, helpful staff. They have a good selection for their smaller space. I try to come here frequently for pet treats and food.

Lani is a very anxious, easily scared pup and in the past has needed trazodone for grooming or vet visits, but with Mahi we've been able to bring her in without any issues. Nail trims with other groomers have always been a struggle, but Mahi somehow manages to get them done. We can usually get appointment times that work for us, and our dogs always come back smelling great and feeling super clean. Parking is easy right out front. Even though this location stays busy, they move people through pretty efficiently and seem well organized with their appointments. The grooming prices are reasonable and the fact that it's close to our house is a big win. Our other dog Bradi is much more social and absolutely loves coming here. She thinks it's playtime every time. We also like that they offer teeth brushing as an option. Overall a solid grooming spot if you live in the Queen Anne or Interbay area.

bad experience taking my puppy to get groomed here. (He's on the left)…read more He's a toy poodle and they completely shaved him down, leaving him unrecognizable, not even leaving any facial framing or fur on his ears despite him clearly not having any matting in those areas. Groomer seemed uninterested in conversation regarding the cut so I just left. Just did a lazy job in general. The groomers name was Wethir I believe. Does this look like a poodle cut to you? Such a low effort job for a $90 charge. My dog on the right was also pretty matted up and was taken to the Petco location in Ballard just last week, notice the difference in effort on the groomers end. Unfortunately won't be back to this location which sucks because it's closer to me.

My dog has been dealing with constipation and yellow liquid poop for 4 days for what can pass through. I am considering taking her to the vet today. They really should talk to the vendor they are receiving these from as they are obviously selling pig ears with a lot of fat or grease that is causing constipation.

The gentleman had on a newsboy cap and the woman had reddish hair (forgive me for not having better details, I was so sad. But the sentiment remains the same.) There are businesses you visit, and then there are places that become part of your family's story. All The Best falls firmly into the latter category. Since moving to Ballard, our dog was a regular visitor. He'd shamelessly help himself to treats from the bins, tail wagging with pure delight at his "successful" heist-- the cashiers were always so gracious. And on top of that, the store regularly hosts wonderful community events (like the wading pool they set up during farmers market days.) But it was on our dog's final day that the staff last Wednesday morning truly showed us the greatest kindness. We brought him in one last time, and they let him steal treats to his heart's content. Without being asked, they prepared a goodie bag filled with food and treats he might enjoy, and they gave me forget-me-not seeds. In a moment when I was completely broken, they showed such genuine compassion and understanding. Those treats kept Teddy calm and happy in his last moments, and I will never forget the incredible kindness of their gesture. If you're looking for a pet store where your furry family members will be truly welcomed and cherished, where the staff genuinely cares about your pet's happiness, and where you'll be treated like family, this is your place. Thank you to the team for being such beautiful souls. You've made me a customer for life.

We've been regulars for about a year. Absolutely love the staff and the environment…read more Our golden loves coming here. Dogs are friendly. Clientele has always been great. Dog owners are attentive and the staff has a good balance of letting the dogs play while monitoring for any escalating behavior. The only deterrent for us now is the fact they had to reduce their footprint a few months back. No fault of the ownership, but our dog is a bit rowdy so the smaller space is a little more crammed than ideal for our pup. Be sure to research on their website so you have all your dog's records before visiting the first time. I love that they are thorough with their requirements.

EWWWWW - vaccinations requirement shocked me!!! more than just rabies, they also require the less popular vaccines -- Bordetella and DHLPP. Bordetella is to prevent a certain type of kennel coughs which is not fatal. my dog is not around other dogs on a regular basis. we really don't need that vaccine! DHLPP is to prevent Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza. Requiring all dogs to be vaccinated for 7 diseases just to hang out there? Not worth it. Besides, many vets prefer giving DHPP dropping Leptospirosis coz there's a higher chance for adverse reactions when leptospirosis is given in a combination vaccine (DHLPP) - my friend's dog got a seizure from it. plus Leptospirosis isn't needed unless the dogs live in the high risk area, seattle isn't. The fact that they require DHLPP instead of DHPP tells me that they're more paranoid than wanting the best for the dogs. well, not all staff strictly enforce this rule anyway. - $16 for one time, $70 monthly subscription?? The indoor dog cafe in queen anne which is just 8 min away with 3 parking lots is only $9 one time and $35 monthly with a lot of perks like free meetups. - i've read so much about owners who are supposed to be responsible for watching their dogs get boozed up, no one cares about aggressive dogs being around, staff are rude and ignorant, biters get protected... so many indicators convincing me that there're better places out there for dogs and their owners, unless you just want a place to bring your dogs to get tipsy. so certainly there're some types of dog owners who would give this place a lot of stars. just look at the facts for yourself.

Communication is so important with customers. It really sucks when you walk in the door of a shop…read moreor restaurant and the first thing that happens is someone yells at you not to do something. That's what happened to me today. I had to quickly pick up one item for my dog and, as is the case with most businesses I go to, I was hoping to pull in my bike for a quick second - It's not like this store doesn't have any room to allow a person to put a bike up for two or three minutes. However, Even before I was able to get the door open, some blond chick in the store screeched at me: "no bikes in the store!" Clearly that is store policy, but the way she did it made it so that I don't ever care to go to this place again. I don't have a car so it's hard for me to get around, but I guarantee that I will go out of my way to avoid this store again because of the negativity I received today. Sure, they don't allow bikes in the store, but she could've walked up to me and politely asked me if I would park the bike outside and the policy is to not allow bikes in the store. Instead, she screeched at me from her counter across the store. That is really embarrassing and shaming. Perhaps she's not being paid enough to try to be polite to customers, but you can guarantee that they will not see my face at that store again.

She also had several skin issues and nothing I fed her helped stopped the itch. About four months ago, I tried JFFD for her and the rest was history. We recently moved close to this location (I used to get it from Petco) so I decided to visit. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they get freshly made food delivered every single day. I tried this food with Nugget and needless to say, she's become a complete foodie now (in true corgi fashion)! The staff here are SO friendly. When I told them that Nugget especially loves the fresh food, they informed me that I could request to have extra food made weekly for Nugget! I was in disbelief that my puppy could essentially have her own personal chef. We now get to pick up freshly made food every week for her. It is fairly expensive, but the quality and customer service you receive are unmatched. Nugget's skin issues and pickiness have completely dissipated. We love how simple the ingredients are and how happy she seems to be with her new diet! Thank you to all the friendly staff for making our lives so easy and always being so kind!
