    Every person is friendly and super helpful. They know their products. I always start my hunt here. Usually don't go anywhere else.

    Good overall store. They carry both high quality and mid-range quality dog and cat food. Staff of knowledgeable as a whole.

Blue Buffalo made a purchase for $3500 worth of e-collars for hunting dogs and when we contacted them to make sure the order was legit they told us, yes, and that the products we're going to be used in a new photoshoot they were doing for an advertisement. I was familiar with the company and personally purchase their food at Petco to feed our dogs so that order was approved and shipped. A couple of weeks later they placed another $8800 order for the same hunting dog collars and when I called them again to ask why they needed another 50 collars I was told that they just decided that they needed more for the photo session. I wasn't comfortable with it and did not ship the order right away and good thing because a few days after that they had charged the card back for the original $3500 order! I contacted them and they said, yes, sorry, that card was lost and that the card issuer automatically chargeback several transactions around the time period it was lost or stolen but that they would get back to me with a new card. 1 week later, still nothing. 2 weeks later, still nothing. Since then they stopped taking my calls and I have tried contacting the company several times and have left messages and sent multiple emails and no callback or any response at all ..not a peep! The items they purchased were fine and sealed in factory boxes. They were only using the packaging as a backdrop for the dog food they were photographing ...trying to appeal to the hunting dog crowd is my guess. Anyway, thank God we didn't ship the 2nd, larger order!! We're a small company and even $3500 hurts us pretty badly. Another almost 9k would have been devastating. I am not sure why this big company feels the need to rob other business for their products/money but they are despicable lowlifes and, of course, I purchase a different brand and we tell ALL our customers that use their food to do the same thing and you should as well! Not only is their food complete junk but they are thieves as well.

    The Great: The Norwalk store is super clean. The staff are very accommodating and kind and very…read moreknowledgeable. We worked mostly with Allison. She gave us a ton of information, told us where she would be the next day with phone number of the other store so we could reach out to her with any additional questions. She actually just texted me with pictures of the parents of the goldendoodle we purchased (it's after 7pm). I did call the store one day when Allison was out and Pete answered the phone, he wanted to know how the dog was doing, said he has been with the store for decades and if we need anything to just call him. GREAT STAFF. We were talking to some breeders directly and the communication was horrible. Gary has some great employees. Even the woman who bathed and did our dog's claws after purchase clearly LOVED dogs. Very positive store experience. The Neutral: My dog, as others have mentioned was timid and easily startled when first home, but I think that's normal. He's only 10 weeks old, arrived from Missouri only a week before. That's a lot of changes for a little guy. So we have been making sure to keep the house a little quieter and trying to not make noise when he is eating. Basically like the instructions from Gary (Owner) say, no playing or excitement for 3 days. It's day 3 now and the dog (Reilly) is really much more active, running around the house, eating better, and seems to be adapting well to us and the house. The unexpected: Day 3, the little guy seems to have developed a cough. Could be from the stress of the move, he didn't seem to have this when we brought him home. I spoke to Allison about this and was told we would be reimbursed if we were unable to get back up to CT to see their Vet. (We are an hour away). Update: He seems a little better today, he has his check-in/check-up anyway so we just moved up the date at the vet to make sure he's on the right track. I am sure he will be fine. The less positive: When we originally called on the phone, we were told one general price from the Owner for the dogs were were interested in. At checkout the dog price increased more than 50%. We were able to negotiate, but we felt it could have been handled better. The only reason we feel we didn't overpay is because the service and aftercare have been wonderful. And when you get a 10-11 week old baby, believe me you will have questions. This is my third dog, but I quickly realized pups this young are infants, more vulnerable, do more dumb things, eating well and not getting sick is really important.

He's the best boy…read more However, still haven't received Pedigree records (at the time of purchase, a woman told me she had the paper but couldn't find it, and she'd call me the following day regarding when I can pick it up) and he came home with Giardia and they still haven't reimbursed me for the vet costs despite providing all documentation as proof. Customer service lacks but they have great puppies if you're looking to add to your fur family.
