The vet told me it would be too stressful for him to be boarded while we were gone, so I read online reviews and called Ann. I honestly was blown away. Ann was extremely knowledgeable, and also just incredibly kind and loving toward my cat. She went out of her way to take care of him while we were gone. She brought over feeding syringes and gave him Pepcid to help his stomach, as he was unable to eat without throwing up. She honestly got more food down him than I had been able to. She also recommended a brand of food that he will finally eat on his own, and had great advice for me on how to get him to start eating again (we had the vet pull a few teeth). Every day when we were gone she kept me updated by sending emails and pictures of him. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. I will for sure be using Ann in the future, and cannot recommend her enough.

Because the outside looked abandoned with overgrown landscape. It didn't feel inviting, clean like a place I would want anything to do with. I contemplated leaving so I read reviews before making decision. Seems lots of people are appalled by the looks. Well I gave it a try. I walked in talked with staff and left her for the day. I don't have anything negative, the staff I interacted with seemed friendly. I wasn't given a tour of the place which is new to me as most places have given me a tour so I snot know what goes on behind the scenes but if it's anything like the front maybe that's why. However what I can see from cameras it's not so bad. Overall I will bring again but I recommend doing something with the front. Curb appeal is a thing if you aren't aware.

After meeting with the team at Lantana Animal Hospital today, I feel it's important to update my review to reflect the full picture. They took the time to sit down with me, listen, explain, and truly understand what happened from my perspective. What stood out the most is that they weren't defensive, dismissive, or focused on money--they were compassionate and genuinely concerned about Maggie's well-being. They acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, and instead of distancing themselves, they leaned in. They made it clear that they care and are willing to work with me however they can to support Maggie moving forward. In a world where veterinary care can sometimes feel rushed or transactional, I appreciated seeing the human side of their team today. While this journey has been painful and far from what I hoped for Maggie, I do believe they want to do right by her and are committed to helping however possible.
