    So sweet ‍‍‍

Crystal and Everette are very sweet and endearing. I have brought both my kitties here to be cremated and both times I felt as though they care and want to make this hard time easier for grieving. Their pricing is great and have so many add ons... def get a paw print!!!

We were so please with the care and kindness Grant showed us when we had our Tolly cremated. Service was given the same day he died and caring. Grant was kind and compassionate during the whole process. Cost for service was reasonable. They do take donations to help with expenses for those who need monetary assistance and to help run the company.

Moms dog Monty passed away earlier today. I called Denver pet cemetery and they couldn't of been nicer. They did a one dog cremation and sent me a very beautiful video showing me such. Couldn't have met nicer people today and the pricing couldn't have been fairer .. thanks guys

I buried my dog here in 2004 and it isn't a place I visit often but when I have I've found either my dog's headstone missing, which they replaced, or the cemetery not cared for properly. It's all weeds and not mowed or watered in the back where my dog is. Very sad state.

Losing your young(ish) pet suddenly and unexpectedly is an awful thing. Our family's Bernese mountain dog had been eating less than usual she went to see the family vet and then spent a night at VRCC for a full work-up. They released her Friday night and said she was back to eating and looking better. Well as soon as she got home she plopped down in a different spot than usual and wouldn't get up and wouldn't have a piece of bacon. I knew she was probably dying. When she passed around 4 am I googled pet cremation. What are we going to do with this 130 pound dog. There was just no way emotionally that we were going to load her in the car. I called Everett and he answered right away. He came to pick her up with his son. They were incredibly kind, conscientious, and polite coming into our house, engaging my 2.5 year olds question, and loading her up in their car. They could not have been more loving or gentle with her body. They offer a viewing tho we opted out of that. We did want a private cremation so we only would have her ashes. They called that night and they were available for pick up. Everett had already explained that the ashes would be in a ziplock in a velvet bag, in a box Saran wrapped. I was not as nervous to pick up. They were packed so nicely and labeled well, it is just so clear that they care. We just moved her into an urn to keep in the house. The experience couldn't have been better given the circumstances. Additionally the price is depended on weight. We thought it was a very affordable service.

The small velvet bag with attached poem and cremation certification. (Parker was only 3 lbs so the bag is very small!)

This is one of those reviews I wish I never had to write, but as life would have it, here I am. I suddenly lost my sweet little boy Parker on the early morning of September 19th. When loosing a pet (aka my child), it is hard to even know where to start. I was blessed to have my mom present when he passed, so she started making calls at 3 am, leaving messages in hopes that we could make arrangements that day to get him cremated. Denver Pet Cemetery and Crematory returned our call the second they came into the office and honestly they knew exactly what to say and how to handle the situation. I can't remember the name of the woman I spoke with, but she was amazing. She told us to take our time, spend time with him and come in when we were ready. I honestly can't tell you how much closure it gave me to be able to spend the morning with him and say goodbye. When we arrived , we worked with a young girl who helped us to get a clay paw print, then left us to be with him until we were ready. As we sat under their big trees, there was a peace in knowing he was in good hands with the staff at Denver Pet Cemetery and Crematory. There was no pressure to buy their urns or any other services - they just wanted us to know he was in a better place and that they were sorry for our loss. When we brought Parker to Denver Pet Cemetery and Crematory, I had him wrapped in my baby blanket. I assumed we would have to leave him with nothing (that was the policy when we had his brother cremated), however they allowed me to give them to him, wrapped up nice and tight in the blanket. As silly as this may sound, I loved knowing he was wrapped in my blanket when he was in the freezer waiting for his turn. After only 3 days, they called to let us know he was ready. The Denver Pet Cemetery and Crematory had his remains in a nice, blue velvet bag that had a poem on it called Under The Rainbow Bridge. Additionally, they had put the blanket in a velvet bag too, which meant the world to me. At the time, we didn't know the average cost of pet cremation, however after receiving return calls we found Denver Pet cemetery and Crematory was not only amazing to work with, but they are also the cheapest around. For the cremation services and a paw print, I think it was exactly $100. Their facilities are not fancy in the slightest (aka barns), which I assume is why the cost is so low. Either way, I would refer anyone I know to them!

She has been working with our nearly 14-year-old large-breed dog for the last three years. From our first intake/consultation and acupuncture appointment, Dr Becca has guided us on an incredible learning journey around the best approaches to support our dog's health. She has consulted on his diet and supplements, which, in and of itself, has made a transformative difference in our dog's general health and arthritis. She performs regular acupuncture appointments (she keeps a very organized and well-communicated schedule) where she's constantly talking through Max's health and considering any adjustments that would benefit him, while always honoring our approach. Max knows when Dr. Becca is en route and excitedly awaits her arrival; we know he feels amazing as a result. The fact that he still can hike 2mi/day on the trails is testimony to how well she's helped to preserve his joint function. Most critically, she actually saved our dogs life this week. He was preliminary diagnosed with a brain tumor and while we were told to arrange end-of-life care, she advocated fiercely for the possibility that Max had an infection and gave us a clear discussion guide to use with his regular vet to receive the right care. In this capacity, Dr. Becca "stays in her lane" but is always a text away, as if your pet is her pet. I've never known a veterinary professional to be this deeply compassionate, nor to possess such an encyclopedic breadth of knowledge around veterinary science while knowing precisely when to apply it and how to educate her human clients in the process. Our sweet Max would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Becca. You can be absolutely certain that every penny you invest with ZenPet will have direct returns on your pet's vitality and longevity as well as your own education as a pet parent. Finally, it bears mentioning -- Dr. Becca is great with people too. She is an absolute joy to be around. I'm eternally grateful for and in awe of the work she does; it is truly her calling.

What I didn't know was how this service can help his allergies as well (coughing, sneezing, panting). My dog warmed up to Dr. Desi immediately and she took her time explaining everything she was doing throughout her assessment and adjustment. She also helped guide me on how to properly trim and file his nails (to be honest I was terrified to do them myself and would rely on the vet or groomer to do them for us). What a difference one adjustment made! After YEARS of allergies, his coughing and sneezing has decreased dramatically over the course of a week (and after only one adjustment). He is also running and playing like he is a puppy again! I haven't seen him this energetic in a long time. I was honestly a little skeptical of this therapy when my vet recommended it to me. After seeing the results first hand, I am a firm believer that canine chiropractic care (in the hands of an experienced doctor) can make a world of difference in the lives of our four-legged family members and I specifically recommend Dr. Desi. My only regret is not calling her sooner :)

I cannot express how deeply disappointed and heartbroken I am over my experience at CSU Veterinary…read moreTeaching Hospital. I brought my dog, Lupo, there during a medical emergency while we were traveling from North Carolina, and what followed was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. We were already in a state of panic, far from home, trying to make the best decisions we could. Despite that, there was a profound lack of communication, compassion, and transparency throughout his care. We were never offered the option to stay in any rooms, just to rest for a little. Being 45 minutes away while our dog was critically ill created unnecessary distance during the most important moments of his life. The most devastating part is that we were only contacted when things had already taken a severe turn, and that call was not a supportive update, but a frantic, high-pressure conversation where I felt like I was being almost yelled at that he needed to be euthanized immediately. There was no sense of guidance, no compassion just urgency without support. We were not called earlier as he declined, and we were not given a real opportunity to come and be with him in time. Because of this, I lost the chance to have any meaningful final moments with my dog. By the time we were involved, he had been intubated. That was not what I wanted unless it was absolutely necessary as a life-saving measure, and it ultimately robbed me of being able to hold him, comfort him, or say goodbye in a way that had any meaning. That is something I will carry with me forever. When we last saw him, he was placed all the way at the bottom of a cage. It felt impersonal and distressing given how critical his condition was. There was no sense that comfort or dignity in his final moments was being prioritized. To make matters worse, a necropsy (autopsy) was performed without our explicit consent. This was incredibly upsetting and felt like a violation during an already devastating time. The lack of clear communication and consent around something so significant is completely unacceptable. After his passing, the handling of his remains and the lack of communication continued to cause harm. Because of delays and inability to reach anyone, his body was not released to the memorial service we had chosen in time for us to receive his ashes before our flight home. We were forced to extend our stay, rebook flights, and incur additional expenses... all while grieving the loss of our baby. I understand this is a teaching hospital and that not every case has a positive outcome. But communication, compassion, and respect for both the patient and their family should never be optional. At no point did I feel supported, informed, or prioritized as his owner. Lupo was my world. He deserved better. And no family should have to go through what we experienced here. There was no compassion in here. There was only a severe urgency to give us a large bill.

They said that they were a little busy but if i brought him in, in the next 20 minutes it wouldn't take long. I got there, they took him back within 10 minutes and then i waited for 3 hours. No updates. Zero communication. I spoke to a man at the back desk and asked if it would be much longer and if i could go grab food really quickly. He said it'd probably be about an hour so i definitely had time to grab food. When i came back it was about 6:45, the back desk was closed so i went to ask reception how much longer it would be because i am in the middle of moving and if there was still a wait if i could leave and they could call me when they were done. They said no because i "haven't received a quote yet". i said okay how much longer will that be because i've already been here for almost four hours. they said probably another hour. I asked if i could just take my cat to a different vet because they were obviously too busy to see him, they said yes but they'd still have to charge me the full cost of the exam. I went back to the waiting room and i sat there for another hour and a half. At this point it was 8:30pm. i'm supposed to be moving out of my apartment so i went back to reception and explained the situation again. They said that since it was such a crazy day, i could put down an $850 deposit and they would just refund me the difference when i came to pick up. (side note: they charged me for someone else's dog?? whatever though we figured that part out) i went home and continued packing. Then at 10:00 decided to call them because ive still received zero communication about my cat and he's been there for SEVEN HOURS. I called them, they said they'd have the vet call me back. at 10:15 the vet called me back and said that i'd have to come pick my cat up because they weren't going to be able to see him tonight (because he "is alert" and low priority) BUT! Not to worry because they weren't going to charge me for the appointment (the $850 charge on my card say otherwise but yeah whatever) The communication within this facility is a joke. I had suggested I take my cat somewhere else FOUR HOURS AGO and i was basically told no. I then had to take him to another emergency vet (they were actually helpful) but i didn't get home until about 2 in the morning. So an 11 hour vet visit that realistically should've taken maybe 3 hours. All of this could've been avoided if they had let me take my cat to another vet WHEN I SUGGESTED IT. Unfortunately i will probably never ever come back here because this experience was absolutely ridiculous and extremely unprofessional.
