I have a Shar-pei with a myriad of health-related issues and after traditional veterinary care failed to address his overall well-being and healing, I decided to go the holistic route and I couldn't be happier with the results and Dr. K's services. She provided a customized plan for my dog, consisting of supplements and feeding recommendations to help restore his liver and kidney function, reset his GI tract and to improve his immune system after being treated for myositis with Prednisone (a human-grade steroid that suppresses the immune system). Additionally, Dr. K has guided us through a host of other minor conditions using holistic methods, which have proven to be best for my dog. If that weren't enough, on many occasions when we've been low on supplements, she's personally delivered them to our home. Dr. Becca is a life saver. She is absolutely passionate about helping and healing, and she will treat your pet as if he/she were her own. My dog, Sakari, was diagnosed with a nasal tumor and given 2 months to live in January 2019. Today, Sakari's CT scan showed that she is cancer free! Although we did receive some traditional SRT radiation treatment via an oncologist back in 2019, Sakari has blown past expectations in terms of survivability. Plain and simple, Dr. Becca saved my dog Wallie's life. He was diagnosed with meningioencephalitis and was put on a high dosage of steroids at the same time as receiving chemo therapy, to suppress his immune system, that was basically trying to kill him. At first he seemed to be getting better, but when his vet tapered the steroids he relapsed and they had to put him on high dosages of steroids all over again, which destroyed his muscle tissue. Everything that was being done with traditional medicine, while it was saving his life, seemed to only be treating the symptoms. Dr. Becca Klobuchar is working with our 8 year old rescue pug with chronic UTIs and bladder stones. Our traditional vet wanted to put her on a prescription diet, but after looking at the ingredients in the kibble, we refused. We began searching for a holistic vet and found Dr. Becca. Through working with Dr. Becca we have incorporated multiple supplements into our pug's raw diet and have not had any UTIs since! Now that she's getting older, she is also starting to experience mobility issues. I cannot recommend Zen Pet more highly. I love that Dr. Klobuchar comes to our home and has flexible evening and weekend hours. She provides excellent care for our 3 older large breed dogs. Since the dogs have started receiving acupuncture/massage/essential oil treatments, they have better mobility, less pain, enjoy more activities, and are happier and more energetic. Dr. Becca has been the most amazing blessing to us and our fur family! We have a 13 year old boxer diagnosed with cancer in August.  Our primary vet gave us some minimal options and referred us to an oncologist. Dr Becca has made a huge difference in the quality of life for my rescue pups with her diet and supplement recommendations. I have a Japanese Chin named Sophie which Dr. Becca has been seeing for several months. Sophie has a heart condition and pulmonary hypertension which see sees a cardiologist for these conditions. Sophie also has had a constant cough associated with these conditions. After Dr. Becca saw Sophie she recommended some supplements to improve her cough and heart condition. Sophie no longer has the cough and her overall vitality has improved so much you would never believe she is 13 years old and has heart and pulmonary problems. Dr. Becca Klobuchar is so helpful - she recommended a great nutrition plan for our beloved dog of 10 years that was diagnosed with cancer almost 4 months ago. Since the cancer is primarily in his intestines, he had symptoms of chronic diarrhea. After the diagnosis and learning the tumors were inoperable... we really weren't sure what to do. Dr. Klobuchar got him on a nutritious, clean diet that got him all the nutrients he needed and his symptoms have been far less severe, even going up to a week without seeing them! Dr. Becca has been coming to our home since June 2020. Our MS-e was diagnosed with "cushings disease" and we were desperate to get her health back on track. She had become lethargic and her belly touched the floor and started to lose her eye-sight. Dr. Becca suggested a "whole food" diet (no more kibble) and put MS-e on a few different natural supplements along with her "prescribed medication" to keep the disease at bay. The acupuncture, herbs, supplements and essential oils that she used in caring for my dog were essential in providing her with an excellent quality of life. When my dog developed laryngeal paralysis and had to have surgery, Dr. Klobuchar's care bolstered Bella's energy before the surgery and supported her healing afterward. Dr Becca has been amazing. She first saw our 10 year old lab who had recently undergone surgery for Laryngeal paralysis. I was astonished how well he did with the acupuncture and also with the additional recommendations for supplements and dietary changes. Within a few weeks he was perkier and the back leg weakness that can come with Lar Par is no longer evident. After our two year old lab began having seizures she came to see him as well. I couldn't believe he responded so well to the acupuncture. A two year old lab lying still for 30 min. was a sight to behold. Dr. Klobuchar is absolutely wonderful! She has taken care of all of my pets for years from when she was working at a traditional vet clinic and after she began doing holistic medicine.
