Dr. Megan helped us with our 17 year old pup and it was by far the best experience we've had with end of life care. The entire process was seamless. It's obvious how much she cares and respects animals and their humans. Companion Crossroads services are really one of a kind and my husband and I can't recommend them enough.

Even though the business was closed, they still welcomed us and accommodated our situation without hesitation. Their compassion meant more than I can express. They treated my pet with dignity, spoke gently, and guided us through every step. We received our pet's ashes within 10 days, prepared beautifully and respectfully. In such a painful moment, their kindness brought comfort. I highly recommend Green Heart Pet Water Cremation to anyone facing the loss of a beloved pet!

Not because the business isn't wonderful, but because of the fact that I needed them in the first place. Green Heart and Dr. Megan were wonderful during the process after I lost my soul dog, Lenny. I'd originally called Dr. Megan to also provide in-home services, but she wasn't available. Luckily she has a network of other doctors, and she was able to very quickly connect me with one of her colleagues as my situation was kind of an emergency. Once Green Heart received Lenny, it took about a week or so to get his ashes back, as water cremation is a bit more of a process. I did have to reach out to them for an update, but they responded right back and fully informed me on what they were waiting for. It wasn't too long after that that they called to tell me that Lenny was ready to be picked up. I will say when I got there I started crying as I walked in the door, and I don't think the person who helped me quite knew what to do, which is funny because you would think that considering the situation it's not unusual for somebody to be crying when they come to pick up their pet's ashes. But regardless, they took wonderful care of my boy. I opted for both the nose print and the paw print, which are an additional cost. The bamboo box for his urn came with the cremation price. They also gave me all the extra prints, as well as a candle, some of his hair in a bottle, and a packet of wildflower seeds to plant in his name. They also plant a tree for every pet that they take care of. This sort of commitment to the environment and sustainability is one of the main reasons why I chose water cremation. Highly recommend.

The family was able to be together to send our precious girl off because we were able to coordinate it on a Sunday. No scary trip to the vet. Before Dr. Daiger came, we got Mila outside as a family. She soaked in some sunshine, was able to see some of the million bunnies in our neighborhood, and even spotted a neighborhood cat on it's front porch. She died warm from her short walk, with a belly full of bacon from breakfast and the treats that Dr. Daigler brought. She was calm and happy, and her poor broken body is no longer in pain. What Dr. Daigler does cannot be easy, but she offers the kindest form of passing for our much cherished pets. Would that we could all be so lucky. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Daigler.

I am here to express my unending gratitude for every single employee at the centennial location as well as the Henderson location(where her body was originally transported) for making the worst moment of my life a bit more bearable. From the employees I spoke with that suggested the viewing service while I was hysterically trying to secure peace of mind to Louis who took care of and prepared my baby girl for her final walk home, the compassion shown was nothing short of incredible. With her passing being during the holiday season(12/23) I was not able to have the service until 1/6, exactly 2 weeks after her passing and I was very nervous about how she would look, feel and overall be presented to me. As soon as they opened the door to the bereavement room that was prepared for us an instant cry of relief, she looked just as she did while she was sleeping, so peaceful. I've seen a lot of reviews commenting negatively on prices for this service(and pricing in general) so it's important to me to share just how incredible lasting paws staff made the worst moment of my life. Honestly the cost was such a small price to pay for the experience of being able to touch, kiss, hug my baby girl one last time. So while some may think this is a "money grab on grieving pet parents" I could see(and feel) just how much love and care went into her viewing service by the staff. They bathed her, brushed her and had her prepared on a table with soft blankets and a pillow for her head. Louis did a very thorough job of explaining everything about the cremation process and communicated with me through every step. I brought supplies to make more nose/paw prints but forgot scissors so that I could clip more of her fur, without question the sweet front desk staff provided a pair of scissors and a small plastic bag to keep the clippings in. I had used a euthabag(instead of standard issued plastic bags) that I had sent to all of her loved ones to write sweet final goodbye messages. One of the many reasons I did this was so that whoever was handling her could tell how loved and special she was...Louis made a point to comment on this stating that him and the staff really enjoyed reading the messages on her bag and could feel how loved and special she was. That small seemingly insignificant exchange truly helped my grieving heart so much, just to know she was seen in death the same way as when she was here, so very loved. I had 30 mins with her but of course was offered more time if I felt as though I need it, in fact when Louis came back in to check on us and I had said I was ready, after explaining everything he even confirmed again that I did not need more time. I was given the option to leave and come back when everything was done OR stay in the room dedicated for us while she was being cremated. I opted to stay with her throughout the entire process because I promised her I would be with her until the very end. Once Louis took her to the back I was still able to watch via a tv with a live feed in the bereavement room and Louis even came back in the room to let me know when it was finished and he was going to be opening the door to begin brushing her ashes out so that I may look away if I needed to. I was there from 9am-2:30pm and was able to go home with her and all of her prints and clay paws. I guess I'm leaving this review to sing the highest of praises for lasting paws employees and their viewing service option but also to let any grieving pet parents know: if you're on the fence on whether or not the viewing services is "worth the money" ....it 100% is-being able to kiss her sweet nose one last time was priceless and truly has helped so much with my grieving process. Also I hope Louis sees this and knows how much of a positive impact he made during the worst time of my life and how grateful I am for the care he showed my girl after her passing-He made this whole experience a bit more bearable and really honored my girl.

She graduated some PT training with them, gave me much anxiety when her legs would hurt her, and they were always the very best at sending her home with me happy and healthy. Sadly, the last time I brought her here, it was too late to save her. Nessie was a Bernese Mountain Dog and she had hemangiosarcoma which was undiagnosed. Her symptoms the morning of her passing was primarliy lethargy, not wanting food, and pale gums. Within moments of me realizing she wasn't doing well, I got her into the car and sped to the hospital. As we were driving her symptoms got worse and I called ahead to ask for immediate help. The team was out front when we arrived and we got her onto a gurnee. I wiped out one of her eye boogers and told her I'd be right there to take care of her. Nessie sadly didn't make it to surgery. Her heart gave out before we could help her. But I know she got the best way to leave this earth as she was barely in pain and she wouldn't have liked the cancer treatment we were planning for her. The team did a really good job helping me through the hardest thing I've ever been through. My one regret is I wish I had woken earlier that day and tried to get her help faster. But sometimes things don't go the way we want. I hope if you're in need of urgent care, you can get your pup here swiftly and allow the team to do their very best. It's a hard job these Vets and the team have, taking care of our sweet angels. I've put off on writing this review as even though it's been three months, still feels very fresh to not have my sweetheart by my side. Thank you team for all your help. She was the very best girl.

They treat both our pets like they're a rabid dinosaur or something. My dog is little and afraid sometimes so instead of treating him properly the vet LITERALLY drug him by his neck and leash out of the room. They called us about our cat and basically told us he was going to die, then we talk to the actual vet and tells us something completely different. They have blind sided us with pay at least 3-5 times. We showed up to pay one visit and it was 700$ extra tha what they quoted us. They refused to give us the paper work the insurance was asking for and were rude about it, never gave us help with insurance. We actually paid over 400$ to visits that shoulda be reimbursed because we spent 3 months trying to get receipts that they literally couldn't figure out. On top of this the front desk is incredibly rude and not there for you help our your pets convenience. Made us feel uncomfortable and ready to leave. They also forgot to give us back multiple items left with our cat and we had to go back to get them, and they threatened to throw them away if we didn't come on their time even though they forgot every single item he came in with. Also made us bring in our cat for an appointment like 4 hours early so they could just keep him in a cage for their convenience. And then they kept him like 3 hours later because people were late. Their mistakes become your problem and they very clearly don't care about you, your financial situation, your pets, or their care. They care about their money and that's it. Do yourself a favor look else where and get your pets to people who care.
