He came out and did a thorough inspection and explained what my ant issues were. He suggested a treatment plan to get rid of the carpenter and acrobat ants. We agreed on the plan and he came back and treated all the way around my house and my trees. He showed me where the ants were in my trees and on my house. Very professional and knowledgable. During the recent followup visit he told me the ants were gone! Not on the house, not in the trees! I am very thankful that this Pest Guru got rid of my pesty ants! If I need him again, I won't hesitate to call him. The value of his services - priceless! read more

I called DeWayne in the afternoon and he made time to stop out the same day. I was concerned I had bugs coming over from my neighbors home but turns out it was just a beetle. DeWayne knew exactly what kind it was and the differences between other beetles. He did a complete look around the house and found some areas that could be an issue later but nothing serious at the moment. I just bought this house and it turns out DeWayne serviced this home a few months ago with the previous owners - I guess we keep it in the family/house. Overall DeWayne recommended a few services for later on down the road but did not try to force me into anything and did not make any issues seem bigger than they were. He was very honest, friendly, passionate about his job and nice. I have decided to use DeWayne for lawn fertilization and weed killer so I will update my review later on those services as well. Highly recommended. read more

0 STARS DESERVED!!I called for a quote and was going to move forward with it. His available times were to be Monday and Wednesdays. I wouldn't be home those days. I asked the guy if they did background checks on the people that come out here. I got 4 kids and a wife at home. I dont want some pedaphile or physcopath to come in when im not here. The guys asked if it's a joke and hangs up on me. Very professional sir. No you won't EVER get my business. read more

Pest Gurus - Pest Control Near Me - Duncanville, Texas

Pest Gurus is a wonderful company. We have been using them for many years. Dewayne goes above and beyond to help his clients. I know of one situation where a person had a poisonous snake. As soon as he could, he jumped into his truck and went to take care of the problem. If there is a concern between treatments, this highly professional man is there to help. The prices are good, too. We are grateful for Pest Gurus. read more

DeWayne is awesome. I am so lucky to have found him! I am a first time homeowner and found myself with a pest problem. Dewayne came and conducted a thorough inspection. He walked me through everything he found and made sure I was comfortable with his assessment and understood everything. He was reasonably priced and very helpful!! He handles most insects and pests and has helped with some ant beds that I had in my yard as well. Definitely worth it to pay for his ongoing services as well as any specific problem you may have! read more

I've had Dewayne and his son keep tabs with our ants and termites for about a year. They are some of the nicest people you could meet. I had an issue where my dogs kept pulling the ant traps from the ground, and using them as overpriced chew toys. Rather than charging me an arm and a leg for covers, he suggested I go to the Home Depot before he can by, buy some cement bricks, and they placed them over the traps for me. Since I have big dogs, I bought some bricks they couldn't move, and it worked. It only cost me $3! He is great at educating his customers with what he chemicals he uses, his technique, and reason for charges. Dewayne is a natural educator, and really enjoys his line of work, and he is passing that method off to his son. Good job guys read more

I wasn't sure if I had termites or ants, but I knew I had a bug problem. I checked Yelp and saw the good reviews for DeWayne and gave him a call. DeWayne lived up to all the great reviews 100%. Thankfully I just had an ant problem, which he resolved! I would absolutely recommend DeWayne to friends and family without hesitation! Thanks to Yelp for steering me to another great experience. read more

DeWayne and his crew came to cut down two cedar trees on my property, one which was infested with a bee hive that had been there for quite some time. They used the utmost care and safety cutting down the tree and did not kill the bees. DeWayne told me that the bees would remove the queen then move the rest of their hive but it would take 2-3 days. The bees did leave exactly 3 days, almost to the minute that he said they would. DeWayne knows what he's doing and I recommend Pied Piper to anyone. read more
