    Most recently, I called the office to reschedule my appointment on 08-04-2023 for time 4p-6p…read morebecause I work daily until 4p and the woman in the office put in a note for my preference and that I worked daily until 4p. I was called at 1:44p by the tech, who obviously didn't read or get the note, and asked if he could come sooner. I explained that I worked until 4p and wanted him to come after I got off work. He said okay and that he would do so. He called me again at 3:23p and told me he was 30 minutes away and heading my way. He showed up at 3:40p... 17 minutes later. I was very upset over his lack of consideration and respect for my wishes for him to show up after I got off work at 4p. The previous time I had a tech out they were an hour late and didn't bother to call and let me know they were running late and so I wasted most of my day waiting on him, then had to leave for an appointment. He said they were short staffed and apologized. I asked for him to reschedule and he talked me into just doing the outside and returning another time to do the inside. Again, lack of consideration and respect for the customer. I let it slide and didn't report it to the office, but did tell him to please be considerate next time and let the customer know if he will be later than the quoted time. But with my experience with the tech on 08-04-2023, it is evident the staff just don't care what the customer wants or how their work (or lack there of) affects the customer's day. So I decided to cancel my subscription and will go to a company with better customer service. I spoke with a woman in the office on the phone this past Friday to report the tech and she was not the most pleasant or understanding. I proceeded to ask to have my services canceled, to which she went ahead without even asking why. I then told her I wanted to file a complaint, she seemed annoyed by this, and I told her about the last two techs and the inconvenience they caused. She couldn't care less and appeared to, out of obligation, agree that the tech's actions were wrong and she would send a message to their supervisor and have the supervisor (Tom/Todd??) call me to follow up. I've yet to receive a call back. Again, no one seems to care. I was, however, reminded that I would have to pay $57 for this month since the tech came out and sprayed the outside of my home, even though it wasn't when I wanted him to and I, for the second time, couldn't have the inside of my home sprayed because the tech didn't come when he was supposed to. Great way to keep customers! Very disappointed and seems customer satisfaction and support is NOT a priority to Orkin. Fortunately, there are lots of other companies to choose from and I can go elsewhere. No, I would not recommend Orkin to anyone. The bugs mostly stayed out of the home, that's the only positive, but other companies can offer the same results.

    1. They kill ants for a week not two months which are their intervals…read more 2. They purposely don't kill pests so you have to keep paying 3. I got stuff off of Amazon that got rid of a lot of the ants in one day. 4. If there are mice in your attic, skip paying them 20 k. I priced out the same services for 3 k which included adding more insulation than orkin was stating that he'd provide in the 20 k quote 5. Save money and time and go elsewhere!

    If you have a big job do not work with Doogie's…read more I hired them to deal with a mouse infestation and while they did an adequate job cleaning, they did not deal with the infestation in any meaningful way. They did not complete any of the things listed in their own proposal, mislead me into thinking that I needed to pay the whole cost upfront, and were incredibly unprofessional with communicating arrival times. The inspection was not thorough at all, they ignored several rooms and did not inspect the outside of the house at all. They did not remove all of the junk, they did not sanitize the whole house, they did literally zero functional sealing (they completely ignored every room but one on the first floor, and the entire basement) and the 4 traps they laid out in the open caught zero mice. They also threw away a whole bunch of things they didn't need too like all of the spices from our spice rack, an unopened gallon of cooking oil and several unopened containers of chicken stock. They also destroyed one of our mops by using a wood floor mop on bricks and destroyed a vegetable scrubber by using it to clean the stovetop. They left an air scrubber in our house and said they would be by last Friday to pick it up, no timeframe, eventually I message them and they say they will be there 3:30-4:30. At 5:30 I call them because they still have not shown up. The owner asks if she can send her sister at some undisclosed time to pick it up. I reply that no she can come pick it up in person Saturday at 1 (another time they said they could be available) Her sister shows up anyways at 7:30 slamming her fist into my door until I just give her back the scrubber. TLDR: don't work with Doogie's, they won't do the job, they won't communicate times well, and they will charge you full price.
