Restaurant Week is an opportunity for establishments to showcase their best dishes, attract new customers, and leave a lasting impression. Unfortunately, Breeze fell short. The first indication of a lack of preparation was the absence of a Restaurant Week menu online, even on the opening day. Upon arriving for my evening reservation, the restaurant was nearly empty. When I requested the special menu, i was handed a poorly printed sheet containing duplicated descriptions and incorrect formatting. It immediately gave the impression that little attention had been paid to preparing for the event. I do want to acknowledge that the staff was genuinely sweet, welcoming, and attentive. The service was easily the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the food was another story. I started with chicharrones and guacamole. The pork skin was unusually thick and lacked seasoning, while the guacamole was incredibly bland. Next came a chilled mussel dish served over ice that was already melting. The result was an excessively watery plate with little discernible flavor beyond the pico de gallo and a sprinkle of cilantro. For my entrée, I anticipated a flavorful Latin-inspired seafood rice dish, much like paella. Instead, I received something resembling a fairly ordinary seafood fried rice takeout dish. It simply did not deliver the flavor, creativity, or quality i expected. At $45 per person, and over $100 spent between myself and my friend. The experience was particularly disappointing. I ultimately we dissatisfied and decided to dine elsewhere. I recognize that Breeze may have other dishes that regular customers enjoy, and I cannot speak to their entire menu. However, based on what was presented during Restaurant Week, I genuinely question whether the restaurant was adequately prepared to participate. Restaurant Week should be an opportunity to put your best foot forward. If these dishes were intended to represent the restaurant at its best, unfortunately, they did not inspire us to return. Wonderful staff, but the food, execution, and overall value left much to be desired.

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.

I love this bc it seems like the Peruvian version of Korean Army Stew . Really delicious fried rice/fries - very crispy/not oily; really perfectly roasted/seasoned roast chicken! Really friendly, helpful server; dying to try the gelato balls for dessert!
