I meant to order lomo saltado but I'm guessing this is basically the same thing. I ordered delivery and food was still warm when I got it. Everything about this steak was delicious!! The flavor was just right not over powering and there were potatoes underneath that were so scrumptious!! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the one thing that can ruin a great dish is HARD RICE!!! No matter how tasty a dish can be the hard rice will ruin EVERYTHING!!! the prices online seem to be way too high and prices on the regular menu are different. Please change ur prices online!! If it wasn't for my 5 off and free delivery this one dish would've been $25 ridiculous!!

I walked into the restaurant. The people looked at me strangely so I walked to the back where the cashier was. She was pretty friendly. I got a menu. I ordered a shake for my daughter and I aLso the steak as seen in the photo. The food took really long. It was pretty tasty but the sauce was too salty. The cashier/waitress didn't pay me any mind unless I asked for her help. I asked for water and ice. They gave me bottled water and charged me for it. Lol I still gave them a tip but I'll never go back. Being from New York, I love food from South America and the Caribbean but I don't want to dine where I'm not wanted.

Only the dog was interested in this food. The meat was dry, the pasta tasted so odd and they sent fried bananas instead of plantains.

We ordered on Grubhub and the food was inedible. The pasta tasted so weird, the meat was dry and they sent fried bananas instead of plantains. Just super disappointing for an "Authentic" Peruvian restaurant to not even know the difference between Plantains and Banana.

This place should have way more reviews and a higher rating. The food is SLAMMING and a good VALUE. What more is there to say.

In English: As a Peruvian, I know what authentic Peruvian food should taste like, and this experience fell far below expectations. I encourage diners to carefully review both their food and their bill before paying. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The food did not taste fresh and seemed reheated. I started with the yuca a la huancaína, but the sauce was overly thick, lacked the authentic flavor and ingredients, and did not resemble the dish shown on the restaurant's website. The yuca itself tasted like frozen yuca. For main course, I ordered fish fillet and corvina, a traditional Peruvian fish that was also one of the more expensive menu items. The dish arrived cold, dry, and lacking freshness. The side of beans was dry and flavorless, and the sweet plantains were overly ripe and extremely greasy. I brought these concerns to the waiter's attention and showed him my plate, explaining that I did not want to eat the dish. I did not order a replacement because I was dissatisfied with the quality of the food. When the bill arrived, I was charged for the meal I did not eat, and a 20% gratuity had already been added. This was not clearly disclosed, and I only discovered it after questioning an additional charge on the bill. When I asked to speak with the manager, I learned it was the same person who had served us. My concerns were not addressed, and I was required to pay the full amount.

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.

We actually didn't know anything about and what they served. Inside was beautifully decorated and we were seated quickly. We looked at the menu and saw they served Peruvian food. We never had it. We started with the trio empanadas and each one was delicious. If I had to choose one I pick the chicken as the top empanada. I didn't know what to order for the entree and the waiter recommended the Seco De Tría and Lomo Saltado. One was a short rib and the other was a beef stir fry. Both were very delicious! The beef empanadas were flavorful and satisfying, while the cheese and guava had more of a sweet, dessert-like vibe, which was a nice surprise. Both were delicious in their own way. I also loved the roasted corn they serve at the table. It is such a great touch. The dipping sauce had a nice little kick to it that added extra flavor without being overwhelming. The space itself is beautifully decorated, creating a really inviting atmosphere, and they even have a drive through, which is super convenient. On top of it all, the service was excellent. I would definitely come back, even if it is just for a quick bite again!

I'm always interested in discovering restaurants that serve genuine dishes from different countries without Americanized alterations. When he mentioned the location, I recognized exactly where it was. He specifically recommended the Fried Rice, known as Chaufas. I also learned from him that Chinese influence is prevalent in Peruvian cuisine due to historical migration, which explains why these flavors are integrated. The restaurant operates as a takeout spot, with no seating available. Upon entering, I was greeted promptly. Initially, I planned to order the Fried Rice, but I decided to try the Lomo Salado with white rice and added chicken instead. The Fried Rice can wait for another visit. My order was ready in about fifteen minutes, and it was substantial enough to serve two people--really good value. The rice was delicious, cooked to perfection--fluffy and well-prepared, even if it lacked a bit of seasoning. They provided a side of Lomo Salado broth, which I could pour over the dish, but I found it unnecessary. The steak was flavorful, tender, and juicy. The chicken I added was decent; it was well seasoned but tasted somewhat cheap, so I wouldn't order it again. The French fries were good, though I prefer rice as a side. Overall, the meal was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. I'm already looking forward to returning to try the Fried Rice.
