While it wasn't terrible, it felt like it was missing something to really bring the flavors together. The chicken in the bowl was pretty dry and overcooked, but the rice itself was fine. It's possible the kitchen was busy with a large party that Saturday afternoon, so maybe it just wasn't their best moment. Still, the dishes didn't look or taste as good as I was hoping. I'll probably give them another try once they work through the challenges that come with being a new business.

We checked online and it said they were open, so we just drove over, even though I thought they might be closed. The JJ fries were okay, nothing amazing, but the fried chicken was good as usual. Maybe they were just too busy or maybe they ignored business because they didn't want to work hard, so they didn't answer the phone and ignored their online ordering system.
