I love small businesses and roasted Peruvian chicken is THE dish if you're going to any Peruvian restaurant. Don't let the minimal decor fool you, these ladies know what they are doing. My only complaint is this: I ordered a whole roasted chicken and it comes with three sides, we aren't fans of fries or yucca so we wanted all three sides to be fried plantains and they said no we can't do that. No explanation as to why. Were they out? Only had one serving of plantains left? So we were forced to order things we didn't really want. Thank goodness chicken hit the mark, especially after a long day of hiking. read more

Wait: there was no wait on a Wednesday at 8pm but people quickly came after us! Service: the service was fantastic! It seemed like a family owned restaurant with a mom and daughter. Be patient because the food is worth it! Food: I was visiting from CA and didn't expect to find such flavorful ethnic food in Utah! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. I loved the empanadas that had a more corn based casing than I've had before. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Our table was obsessed with the plantains! read more

My sister and I had never had Peruvian food before visiting Peruvian Flavor and the food was amazing! We have picky kids and were not sure what would happen, but my daughter practically licked her plate clean! The staff is really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I'm sad I don't live in Hurricane now as this would be a weekly thing...but we will definitely make a point to go every time we roll through Hurricane from now on! read more

Do yourself a favor and go! I love Peruvian food, and this is the best I've had in the US. Quarter chicken w fried yuca and plantains. The yuca tasted more like vegetable than fries (a rare/good thing), and the plantains were seared and caramelized to perfection. The chicken was excellent, also enjoyed their green sauce (garlic mayo?) w chicken and yuca. I'm becoming a Zion regular, so I'll definitely return here. read more

This place is family run I believe. The lady is adorable. Running the show on her own, so sweet. I assume her husband is the cook, he came out for a quick drink from the kitchen. It's helpful if you know a little bit of Spanish. The food was so delicious, the best food we've had on our trip so far! Flavorful and so yummy. Highly recommend this place for sure. We plan on coming back a couple more times before we leave for sure. read more

I forgot the names of the dishes but the chicken with fried rice is good. It's just one drumstick with a huge portion of rice. The chicken on its own is tender but a little bland but perfect if you eat it with the rice the potatoes that come with it are tasty too. Husband got the steak with fries and a fried egg. The meat was so flavorful! It also came with fries. It's a huge plate too. He also got the fried plantains which were perfectly caramelized. We haven't had such good plantains in awhile. The fruit juices are interesting. We got the guava and the purple corn juice. Yup - corn! Just had to try it. There are two kinds of arepa and I got the first with beef. It was extremely salty. I added some onions and peppers from my husband's dish to tone it down. Definitely worth visiting! read more

Omgggg... this place is absolutely delicious! What a hidden gem and great find! We were in town visiting Zion and found this on Yelp. We had steak, rice, tomatoes, onions and fries #1, and a pasta dish with chicken, beef and veggies (#16?). The seasoning is outstanding. The sauces are killer good! Service was very friendly and fast. Cannot recommend this place more highly. read more

A hidden gem here in Hurricane! The service was so thoughtful and the food came fast! We had 'bi a lo pobre' and ceviche, so fresh and tasty we decided to go back! Second time we had chicken aji(the special of the day) and shredded beef 'pabellon criollo', they were so authentic and delicious as well! Thanks Rosa! read more

Great food and friendly service... and that too at a reasonable price!! We loved this little hole in the wall. Picked up dinner for a couple of nights on our way to Zion. That was a good idea because most restaurants there were closed for Xmas. Try their lomita saltado, chicken soup, rotisserie chicken and their stuffed potato... all very tasty. Give this place a try when you are nearby. read more

Stopped by after a long day at Zion and we ordered our favorite Peruvian dish, Lomito Saltado. It was good! The rice was steaming hot, the French fries were crispy, the beef was nicely seasoned, and the grilled tomatoes and onion were perfect. Aji was a little thicker than we're used to, but still, we think this place is better than some of the Peruvian places we've been to in Orange County, CA. Would come back here if we weren't in a different state. Very friendly owner, too. Definitely recommend if you're in the Zion area. read more

First time here. Parking is pretty lean. There are 1/2 dozen spots in the back, but only for small vehicles. Place is old and pretty dive ish. That said it is clean , with all the windows bright and open. Greeted by older Lady who was very nice and happy to see us. Several take-out customers came in as we got seated. She brought us a menu and with extremely broken English tried to tell us what was good. We decided on the #1 Lomito Saltado & the #10 Prebellon Criollo. She brought some sauces to the table and best we could figure out one was a cilantro cream sauce. The other was a red spicy Chile sauce made like a Mexican Chili De Arbol sauce. It was thick and very spicy. Our meals came within 10 minutes of ordering. Have seen that a major complaint here is getting orders timely. Again this was lunch and we were only ones there. My wife had the #1 Grilled Chicken, peppers & onions. Served with white rice and hand cut fries. It was very tasty. I had the #10 a slow cooked beef roast with black beans and white rice. It too was very good. The flavors of the Beef were hard to describe other than very delicious. Price seemed high for the small portions. Out the door we spent $35 and change for 2 orders and 2 sodas. It seems that everything in this area is overpriced to capitalize on the Zion Tourist. Our experience was good, but the price and small servings would probably keep me from coming back. I like to support Mom & Pop places. Feel like this was worth around $15-$20 for what we got. Check out pics. read more

Food was excellent and I am a very picky person with food but I recommend this place 100%!! We got the lomito saltado, tallarín saltado and a arepa and everything was on point! Friendly service and the older lady that brought our food out was so kind! It's a cute little place with great food! read more

Food was tasty , I got something different I paid for but was still pleased . It's very home made food , so authentic .

Had a good selection of food. Got a saltado de pollo a chaufa and a criollo. I really enjoyed my food but there was a large Peruvian crew eating there when we came in and the server came up to us and told me you grabbed a white drink don't forget to pay for it and I asked what white drink and she said the one you grabbed and I said I didn't grabbed one and she said you want me to check the cameras and I said please do! I purchased my food in the register and my drinks also. I asked another older lady if they found the perpetrator and she said oh no it's cause the manager is watching the camera and I said that's fine but I just don't like being accused of stealing and she said no it's alright eat up and don't worry about it. The server did not apologize for the accusation nor the inconvenience and misunderstanding. If they kept the cashier girl in the front they would easily keep track of anyone grabbing drinks without paying for it. Unfortunately they said they couldn't go back and check because they needed a code. As you can see in my check I didn't mind spending but I do mind spending in a place where they will accuse you without proof or knowledge. read more

Food was delicious and service was amazing! Greeted and treated like we were relatives moment we walked in.

I ordered an Arepa Reina Prepiada and a Lomo Saltado. I also had a passionfruit juice which was so delicious and refreshing! I wasn't expecting much but found that the food was very delicious. The lady taking my order didn't speak English too well, but thankfully I knew enough Spanish to get by. She was very nice and even complimented me on my mediocre Spanish-speaking ability LOL! I would definitely try this place again if I'm in town. read more

Okay, So we were looking for something a little different for lunch. We came across reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Not sure what was going on but they were out of ice cream and seemed to be missing their fresh juices as well which was disappointing. However, we went ahead and ordered. The food turned out well. A little bland but good. The green sauce went very well with the empanadas. We would go back again. Good food for the money.Cheese Spinach Empanadas read more

My wife and I are foodies and this place has incredible flavor, very thankful we found it and will be back in a couple days before we leave.

All the food were too salty to eat. The soup, the various meat dishes we got, the arepas, and most of all the arroz con pollo. The meat was so dry as well. The prices are also really high as well for the quality and the surrounding area. They really jacked up their prices compared to the menu in the pictures so don't get fooled by that! read more

Best chicharrones I've ever had. We took it to go, but it was so good, we went back to the restaurant to thank the chef.

Very pleasantly surprised! Was a bit hesitant to try Peruvian in such a small town, but I have to say, it was very good and tasted very authentic. My fave Peruvian is Pollo Inka in Lawndale, California - iykyk. The flavors were slightly different, but in a good way. It definitely tasted home-cooked. We had the Pollo Saltado, Lomo Saltado, Lomo Tallerin, and a side of rice and fries. My only knocks were that I wish it came with a little more rice (but in all honesty, I probably didn't need it) and the green sauce was salty (my husband loved it though). I highly recommend making a stop here. I only wish it were closer to where I live! Happy travels! read more

I am very disappointed about this place, my husband and I were excited because it was Peruvian food, which we love, but it was very far from reality, firstly the place does not look like it is maintained or cleaned. Starting with the bathroom, access to it was blocked with an old refrigerator which you had to move yourself. It looked very dark and dirty in the hallway, my husband had to accompany me, which made the woman upset that he was outside waiting for me. Then there is a curtain where you can see that maybe it could be the kitchen and it looked very dirty. We were a little intrigued by how they prepare the food. We wanted to cancel it but we couldn't anymore. The passion fruit juice was simple, even it made me afraid to drink it. At the end we paid $46 for something that we had to throw away for fear of being poisoned. Maybe the food was good but with the doubt in what condition the kitchen looks NO THANK U. I feel sorry for those people who have rated this place as the best. read more
