Food was amazing. It wasn't busy, and was very modest so we were a bit skeptical. That lady came from the back kitchen with plates that made us want to slap our mamas!!! The food packed a punch. Very flavorful and well prepared. read more

Peruvian Flavors - Peruvian Near Me - Hurricane, Utah

On a road trip with my son traveling from AZ to WA. We stopped at Hurricane, UT on our first night. It was 8pm and about half of the restaurants recommended on Yelp were now closed. We decided to try Peruvian Flavors downtown as it sounded tasty and was open until 9pm. The location was not easy to find as the restaurant's name was written under the window pediment, so we drove right by the building and parking lot the first time. Once we found it, we were the only patrons there, so we got our pick of seats and had great service by the lady running everything. The interior had basic tables and chairs for dining, but the decor had a lot of flair and charm that really resonated the spirit of Peru. There were a few display cases adorned with jewelry, postcards and other knickknacks. The walls were anything but empty. For our meals, I ordered the Lomito Saltado with chicken, and my son got the same thing with beef. Both plates came out in about 5mins and had hot French fries and fresh grilled onions and meat. These plates didn't stand a chance as we were hungry from 8+hrs of driving. We passed on dessert and drinks (drink options were bottles/cans in a fridge as there was no beverage fountain). Thanks Peruvian Flavors for fueling us up during our road trip! read more

Please ignore all other reviews. There were no people there, yet they still managed to take 90 minutes for three orders. And by the time we actually got the order, it was extremely soggy and salty. Please refrain from coming to this place. Extremely disappointed as there were so many other reviews praising this place. DO NOT waste your hard-earned money here. This place had nobody inside for a reason. If I could give a half star, I would in a heartbeat. Please stay away. read more

A good find in a remote area Just 25 min outside of Zion West entrance. The portions were generous. The mini arepa appetizer was filled with chicken, cheese, and shredded beef. The fried rice chufa was packed with chicken and pork. The lomo solado was good but the sauce was way too salty and needed a bigger serving of rice to complement it. Overall a good meal. read more

My goodness, this Peruvian restaurant was the perfect stop after a long day at Zion. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and traditional decor. It was empty when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night in March. The food was amazing, very flavorful, incredibly well seasoned, and most of all tasted very homemade but also top tier restaurant quality. Food came out quick and the service was great. I got the arroz con pollo. Wow the rice was so delicious, best part of that dish. And my favorite dish I got, the causa rellena. The mashed potatoes were soft, the chicken and vegetables in between were so fresh and balanced the entire dish. Literally heaven. You need to get the causa rellena. Overall, a very authentic spot full of character and culture. Must support this small local business please!!! I will definitely come here again the next time I'm nearby. read more

The food we ordered was all EXTREMELY salty. The only good thing from our plates was the fried bananas.

Mercedes was super kind and welcoming. She deserves a nice raise as she was so sweet to everyone and reminds me of my mom. The food was also very delicious and fresh. I ordered the ceviche, arepa domino, and arroz con leche. My boyfriend ordered the lomito saltado. We enjoyed everything + the passion fruit beverages. The bill came out to about $73 before tip. Super chill restaurant, it gives it a small family business feel. read more

Fantastic meal in Hurricane, probably our favorite during several days in the area of Zion National Park. Very reasonably priced. Everything we tried was good: limo Salgado, chicken Milanesa, another steak dish with beans and plantains, and the chicha Miranda drink. Friendly and helpful staff made up of a family. When you order they disappeared into the kitchen and made the food fresh. It was ready within 15 minutes. Theres a good amount of seating and it feels, clean, bright, spacious, and cool. There's a small parking lot right next to it. read more

I was surprised to find a small family owned Peruvian restaurants with limited English in this area steps from our airbnb and on top of that very vegan and vegetarian friendly. An awesome casual spot post hike at Zion NP that makes you feel like you are out of the country. The food was very flavorful and they are very vegan/ vegetarian friendly. The Causa a la limeña vegana and the beans were our favorites. Make sure to ask for the delicious homemade spicy sauce. read more

First time coming here as a Peruvian. The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious!

It seemed like there was mostly bar food/ American food near Zion park and we didn't want that after being in the sun all day. I'm so happy we found this place!! I've never had Peruvian food but it was perfect after a long day of hiking and being in Zion We got the chicken with rice and veggies and it was so filling and seasoned just right. Lovely restaurant with a lovely owner! The lady was sweet and patient as we figured out what to order. All the food was delicious and flavorful, my favorite being the breaded fish. We ordered a breaded fish, arepa with chicken and avocado, chicken lomo saltado and beef lomo saltado. Not everything on the menu was available which was understandable, since it seemed like only the lady was working. we were the only ones when we came in but people trickled in soon after. Food came out pretty quickly too! Made note of this restaurant so we know where to eat next time we come here on a trip :) read more

Peruvian Flavors was NOT! The lomo saltado was EXTREMELY salty and beef was way tough as shoe leather, and that's putting it nicely. Chicken Milanese was like eating a salt brick out of Zion. There was no love in the meals. HUGE misrepresentation of Peruvian food culture...absolutely garbage!!!! Don't waste your money here. Better off eating at a gas station. read more

Oh yes, this meal was exactly what I was looking for. After 2 days of camping, I really wanted something full of flavor. I've driven by here a number of times but never stopped in. The restaurant is a quaint little place. The lady taking my order was very friendly and eager to help. I was in the mood for chicken. She suggested the Milanesa de Pollo and it was delicious. The chichen was breaded and cooked just right. And I just scarfed the rice down because it was so good. The veggies were a nice compliment to the dish. And the plantains were amazing! I kinda wished I ordered more food. I can't wait to stop by again. read more

All of the food was fantastic. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are charming. The mother speaks broken English, but tried so very hard to communicate. We fully understood what she was recommending. It was very sweet and a part of the experience. She later brought her daughter out to translate, and we had a wonderful conversation. I highly recommend! read more

Terrible food. Taste is bad, very little quantity. It ruins my image to Peruvian food. Never again to Peruvian food.

Such a wonderful treat to find Peruvian food in this area. I absolutely loved the mom's green sauce, which was a fusion of Peruvian and Venezuelan flavors! read more

Ambiance was nice, worker was great. Food would have been good but everything was so DARN SALTY. I had to guzzle 3 cups of water to get through my meal. Even the sauces were too salty. I felt my cholesterol rise higher than the peak of Angels Landing. Ordered the loma saltado, ceviche, and tallarin saltado. Everything was overstated, including the provided sauces. Order the food, but ask for less salt. read more

This was such a gem of a find! I'm Peruvian and it tastes super authentic! Great service too - the cashier was very helpful.

The food is great - large portions. We each had two arepa to try different flavors and couldn't finish them. I highly recommend this as an alternative to the crazy traffic & vibe in Springdale. read more

Traditional and scrumptious! Located on a corner with plenty of parking come inside to embark on the flavors or Peru and Venezuela. The woman that took my order was like talking to mom :) super sweet and a smile with a warm welcome. Lots of choices to choose from on the menu.
