Arepas appetizer
Jing K.

A good find in a remote area Just 25 min outside of Zion West entrance. The portions were generous. The mini arepa appetizer was filled with chicken, cheese, and shredded beef. The fried rice chufa was packed with chicken and pork. The lomo solado was good but the sauce was way too salty and needed a bigger serving of rice to complement it. Overall a good meal.

My goodness, this Peruvian restaurant was the perfect stop after a long day at Zion. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and traditional decor. It was empty when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night in March. The food was amazing, very flavorful, incredibly well seasoned, and most of all tasted very homemade but also top tier restaurant quality. Food came out quick and the service was great. I got the arroz con pollo. Wow the rice was so delicious, best part of that dish. And my favorite dish I got, the causa rellena. The mashed potatoes were soft, the chicken and vegetables in between were so fresh and balanced the entire dish. Literally heaven. You need to get the causa rellena. Overall, a very authentic spot full of character and culture. Must support this small local business please!!! I will definitely come here again the next time I'm nearby.

Mercedes was super kind and welcoming. She deserves a nice raise as she was so sweet to everyone and reminds me of my mom. The food was also very delicious and fresh. I ordered the ceviche, arepa domino, and arroz con leche. My boyfriend ordered the lomito saltado. We enjoyed everything + the passion fruit beverages. The bill came out to about $73 before tip. Super chill restaurant, it gives it a small family business feel.

Chicken milanesa

Fantastic meal in Hurricane, probably our favorite during several days in the area of Zion National Park. Very reasonably priced. Everything we tried was good: limo Salgado, chicken Milanesa, another steak dish with beans and plantains, and the chicha Miranda drink. Friendly and helpful staff made up of a family. When you order they disappeared into the kitchen and made the food fresh. It was ready within 15 minutes. Theres a good amount of seating and it feels, clean, bright, spacious, and cool. There's a small parking lot right next to it.

Salchipapa con pollo

Decided to stop here after hiking all day in Zion National Park. I'm Peruvian living in Houston, Texas and I can honestly say that the food here is authentic and delicious. I'd 100% recommend this Peruvian restaurant

A Peruvian/Venezuelan restaurant in Hurricane Utah??!! Of course we had to try it. Their food tasted very home-made and they were delicious!!! I would totally go back again if I'm in the area. I give 4 stars because I think they could use some TLC on their restaurant ambience.

Causa a la limeña made vegan, so delicious
Evie S.

I was surprised to find a small family owned Peruvian restaurants with limited English in this area steps from our airbnb and on top of that very vegan and vegetarian friendly. An awesome casual spot post hike at Zion NP that makes you feel like you are out of the country. The food was very flavorful and they are very vegan/ vegetarian friendly. The Causa a la limeña vegana and the beans were our favorites. Make sure to ask for the delicious homemade spicy sauce.

Loved it. So fresh and authentic. We found it after going to Zion and we bought the full chicken with sides.

overcharged my credit card after I had already left a generous tip and I got food poisoning. I'm not going back. Thanks for the service.

Had a passion fruit juice, pisco sour, traditional white fish ceviche, and a pork belly cilantro…read morerice dish. Spectacular. I cannot fathom how I need to be in the middle of MesquiNevada to enjoy good Peruvian food. My only tip is to understand the restaurant front is hidden behind the Dermatologist office. Like, impossible to find without determination and attention to detail. Nearly walked away once we circled parking lot. So glad we did not drive away!

I've had Lomo Saltado on my mind ever since I first tried it in Chile, so I've been wanting to try…read morethis place for years. I finally made the trip to Mesquite, and I'm glad I did. The restaurant itself is quaint and has a nice, casual atmosphere. The Lomo Saltado had tender beef, onions and tomatoes tossed in a savory sauce and served with rice and fries. Such a simple combination of flavors and textures, but damn, does it work. For me, huevo frito is a mandatory addition. I love the yolk nice and runny so you can break it over the rice and let it soak up all that goodness. My egg was more cooked than I prefer this time, but that's a minor critique of an otherwise delicious meal. The one area that could use some improvement is the service. I'm not sure if they were simply understaffed during my visit, but service was noticeably slow and not quite as attentive as I would have hoped. Nothing that ruined the experience, just something that could make an already good little restaurant even better. The food definitely satisfied the craving, and I'd happily give them another visit.
