With privacy in mind and a state of serenity (the lighting in the suite puts you in the mood!), the sessions can be enjoyed alone (great for solitude) or like us, get a suite with the tandem door open, we squeezed in a much needed gossip session while sweating away! The cooling, essential oil doused COLD towel (used at the end but given to you at the beginning) is the ultimate enjoyment! DON'T FORGET YOUR WATER. Or buy one from the studio, you want to stay hydrated. We booked a 40 minute session, going against the advice that 30 minutes are perfect for beginners - we had to call it quits at around 35, lol. We were started off at 140F. The pods remind me of wood fire pizza burners, haha. They can slide up and down and are lined with tons of towels, very hygienic. And I had no safety worries as all staff was wearing masks the entire time. Plus with the high temp I'd think all virus would be diminished. We started sweating buckets around 10 minutes in. It is beyond the most extreme cardio sesh you can think of. My friend said at the end that I was glowing, so I guess the detoxing worked! One advice would be to bring layers to change into in case you get so hot out of the session but it's cold outside of the studio. CYL has a lot of cute merchandise too and various packages and memberships, come check it out!

When I started going I researched and learned that women should soak in approximately 53 degree water and I loved R3 because they had 3 different temps and one was around that temp. As I continued to go, I noticed the temperatures were all going to colder options. When I asked the front desk she explained that it was due to "so many bodies being in the water and the bacteria was too hard to keep up on so we have to keep it colder". Um...yuck. After hearing that I couldn't go back. I don't think the water is changed very often which would certainly be an answer for the bacteria, no? I also saw a customer come out of the sauna and not get in the shower before getting into the tub, so I mentioned to her that it was a rule of the club that everyone shower first. She told me that she and many others do not bother with it. The front desk person heard our conversation but didn't come to assist or ensure showers were happening. She did thank me for policing the other customer, though I was not very effective. Soaker beware!

Outside of that... they had the steam room and sauna temps up ENTIRELY too high; like beyond the threshold of human comfort... also, the floor in the salt room or whatever, was SO HOT I swear it almost melted skin off! Temperature control checks need to be done here more often! I will just go to Lake Steam next time... at least they regulate the temperature appropriately. You aren't suffocating yourself within 2 seconds. I had to cool pool plunge a COUPLE of times, just to be able to keep... myself from overheating. Literally, I think the temps were approaching 130-135F -- it was almost too hot to sit on the wood in the sauna, and the steam room was so bad... it wasn't even 1 minute and I was out of there. Stayed maybe 1 hour total. I felt... for the money paid, that isn't worth it.

There's quite a bit of information provided to you as you walk through the facility while being guided to your room so it can feel a bit overwhelming but I'm sure you can ask the staff member to slow down or repeat. I booked a room with a personal shower. There's a large remote-controlled TV in the room. You can access various media to include YouTube & Netflix. There are controls within to adjust the temperature & the infrared light depending on what you want to experience. They also provide towels and the soothing towel for aftercare. Very pleasant experience. If a location was closer to me, I would definitely go regularly.

OK, so here it goes! I am having a hard time finding decent spas here in Colorado. It seems like…read morethere's a million in California but not as many in Colorado. This spot was recommended to me by a coworker. It's located in a weird little strip mall and decent inside, the person that did, my treatment was excellent! Massage was great. The Banya was very interesting and then the mud mask afterwards was luxurious. The reason why I'm only giving it four stars is because it's very pricey. I think the owner could spend some money to make the interiors a lot nicer with the amount of money you pay. The shower was very dark and no shampoo or conditioner. Can't use the hot tub and the floors felt dirty. There was gravel underneath my feet from the hot tub. All in all can't complain but that's the down and dirty of it !

You're asked to arrive 30 minutes early, and we sat around the entire 30 minutes, then finally they walked us through the how-to of it all. the staff is really friendly and the place is clean and well appointed. it was a nice experience, but very indulgent. i don't believe the price is worth it, esp at $1/ounce on the beer & the 90-minute time limit in the room, when one wants to bounce around from sauna to cold shower to hot tub (not necessarily in that order), etc. plus time for dressing and undressing. the anti-gravity massage chairs are also an extra add-on, which i find a bit extreme. overall, we enjoyed ourselves and disappearing from the outside world was rather nice, but it's definitely a one-off, or an annual experience at best. Checking out was equally slow. The host was giving a lady a demonstration on the beer bar and he could have kindly asked to be excused to check us out, but instead he let us sit for over 15 minutes as he gave the gal samples.

I am very much a spa girly and this is one of the most unique spa experiences I have ever…read moreencountered. From the moment you enter the spa, it smells like pure relaxation. As lovely as the common area and patio are, it belies the relaxation that awaits in your private spa room. Before you are escorted to your room, you are offered your choice of locally made beer (My favorite was the "beer flavored beer", which tasted like.... Beer), as well as wine, kombucha, juice, or seltzer water. The drinks are served in a stainless steel insulated tumbler so you don't have to worry about breaks or spills. There are also complimentary snacks available including banana chips and an absolutely delicious savory trail mix. There's also a bathtub full of plastic "bubbles" (think 'grown-up ball pit', but a bathtub) in the common area which invites you to take your most Instagrammable shot. The spa even has a monthly competition for the best photo submission. I appreciate the intentionality with which this spa was designed. Truly they thought of (almost) everything: Hair ties, shower caps, hair dryers, plastic bags for wet clothes, their beer infused shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion offered both in the private room as well as in the common areas, a pitcher of water on the edge of the tub (Because one cannot live off of beer alone).... Even conversation cards containing thought provoking questions placed strategically throughout the facility (Even in your private infrared spa). This is not just an opportunity to relax, but to deepen connection. I came here with one of my friends and in addition to feeling infinitely more relaxed, I left here feeling like my friend and I got to know each other on a much more substantive and meaningful level as a result of this experience. Now before you ask... No, you are not soaking in a tub full of beer. (That was my initial concern, and I almost passed on visiting this spa because of said concern). Instead, you are soaking in a deep stainless steel soaking tub that is full of water and infused with your choice of herbs and aromatics. The room also comes with a CBD infused bath bomb, as well as a CBD and mushroom infused mud mask for extra relaxation and detoxification. The water temperature was absolutely perfect: Nice and steamy but not too hot. The soaking experience was simply not long enough... Which is not a slight to the staff or the facility at all. Just a testament to how relaxing the experience is. I could have stayed there soaking all day without a care in the world. Once we reached the end of our soaking experience, the tub started to automatically drain on its own. We used that time to shower, moisturize, and proceed to the next part of our spa experience... The massage room. The room is dark with small twinkling lights on the ceiling that kinda look like stars and the night sky. There are several zero-gravity massage chairs in the room, but do not be mistaken... These are NOT your run-of-the-mill nail salon pedicure spa chairs. These massage chairs mean business! Even on the lowest setting, my muscles were still sore for several days afterwards because that kneading function gets all up in those muscle fibers. Several times I found myself breathing through the massage like I was having contractions... Especially as those rollers made repeated passes over my lower back. It was definitely the most thorough and intense chair massage I have ever received. Each of the staff members we encountered was absolutely wonderful; Friendly and welcoming, answered all of our questions, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and video to capture the moment and really make the most of the spa experience. Our drinks were never empty and our every need was provided for. The only piece of feedback I have to offer is that it would be great if there were swimsuit dryer spinner on site. I was flying back home immediately after my spa experience and I had to bring my sopping wet swimsuit back with me. I double bagged it to make sure it didn't leak all over the place, but it would have been great to dry it out a bit before putting it back in my suitcase. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's likely the most unique spa experience you will ever have... Even if you are not a beer enthusiast.
