As the other lady brought the IPL machine in she said " if you get an error sign just turn it off and on again and it will go away. I called the next day talking to Dominic who said he was a manager there. I explained to him I had zero reaction from the IPL treatment and he was cold and rude. In person he is polite but he is not a problem solver. I was more put off by his reaction then the treatment. I expected him to want to fix the problem but he just said his lasers are not very powerful and I shouldn't expect to see results. Needless to say I was not refunded and once again I was snookered by a good deal and bad people. It sucks!!!

CU is an excellent teaching and research hospital and the AHWC is every bit as good as I expected…read moreit to be. The clinic is modern and comfortable and the staff are friendly and professional. They take most insurance and they're reasonably priced. I came here for aesthetics, but they offer so much more. They have a gym, physical therapy, nutritional consultants, and even behavioral health services. (They need a good coffee shop here in the large and cozy seating area downstairs!) I'm really happy that I found this place and I will be back for more services soon.

While this clinic is on the busy Anschutz Medical Campus, don't let that deter you. It's nestled in…read morethe same building as the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center off Montview on the second floor and provides front row patient parking at no charge. This side of campus isn't busy at all; and the building is very nice and modern with mountain views. Quite frankly, you shouldn't be going anywhere else for your cosmetic needs. The plastic and cosmetic surgeons here are fellowship trained with years of experience vs some medical or aesthetic spa you found on Groupon. In this clinic you can receive botox injections from the Chief of Plastic Surgery at CU Plastics (!!!). All at an incredible price - especially if you download and use the Brilliant Distinctions app which earns you rewards for every appt and purchase. Enter the building on the first floor and either take the stairs or elevator to the second floor where you'll check in to the CU Plastics Wellness Clinic. They offer free consultations with board certified, fellowship trained plastic surgeons; and have specialty trained staff to manage your needs - RN's, PA's and schedulers. Checking in is simple and you are greeted immediately upon entering clinic. The waiting area is nice and clean and overlooks the gym, Anschutz campus and floor below. Scheduling is very easy - I've never had to wait more than a few days to get in for my specific needs; and I'm currently seeing them for botox, juvederm and the obagi radiance peel regularly. CU and UCHealth employees receive 10% off; but the general public can download the Brilliant Distinctions app to receive similar savings and more! Obagi radiance peel is also buy one get one for the month of January. This peel is one that you can do over lunch - the peel itself only takes 12 minutes - and requires no downtime; you can be seen in public and go back to work immediately. Just don't forget your spf! Sara Douglass, PAC, and Dr. David Mathes (Chief of Plastics at CU) are phenomenal; and I enjoy seeing them for my regular appts. Nurse Jenn is amazing at follow up and answering questions - she's just on it. I hear from her for follow up the next day after every single appt. to ensure I'm comfortable and my needs have been met. I cannot recommend this clinic more. These are the best and most highly trained professionals in Denver to entrust with your facial aesthetic and cosmetic care. Their pricing is extremely competitive; and quality unmatched.

BEWARE-this business is committing insurance fraud. I'm not sure if it's just the owner in on the…read morescam or the massage therapists and other staff as well. Based upon looking through other reviews online, it looks like this has been happening for at least 5-6 years, if not longer. In a nutshell, I had paid cash for a few massages, and was asked if I wanted them to run my insurance benefits to see if there was any coverage. I was skeptical (as getting a massage paid by insurance seems to good to be true!) But I gave them my insurance info and was told that I had 20 visits covered in full for the year. So I scheduled a few appts, while keeping an eye on the billing for my insurance. Bottom line-they billed my insurance for 7 different dates, and I only had 2 massages. In fact, they even billed my insurance for a PT eval, and I never had any PT at all. I'm not even sure if the billing codes that they did bill for are allowed by a massage therapist (or if they are just allowed by a PT (or PT aide, etc.)) Nonetheless, he then tried to tell me that I owed extra money for the massages (probably because the reimbursement by my insurance was not a lot of money.) And this was after having told me that the massages were covered in full. He is getting sloppy in his fraud scheme, because some of the dates he billed my insurance for were very random, including weekends. I did report the business to law enforcement and insurance fraud, but I suspect nothing will happen because the amount of fraud was not a lot of money because I caught it early. If you want to get a massage here, I'd recommend paying cash and NOT giving them your insurance or any personal information (in case they might try for identity theft or something more serious, given they have a lot of personal information.) Or, if you do let them bill your insurance, watch the explanation of benefits and claims filed like a hawk, to keep an eye on whether he is committing fraud against your insurance (and you.) Also, I'd recommend keeping a paper trail of all of this information and any claims that he makes about massages being covered or the deal that he makes with you about coverage. Fortunately, I have everything in writing, and he stopped pestering me when I called him out on the whole situation. This is part of the reason our healthcare costs are so expensive, because there are criminals out there committing fraud, and insurance companies are paying out a lot of money for services that never happened. It makes me so mad to think that people like this can get away with it. Based upon other reviews, I imagine he will try to slander my name or say that I'm lying or something like that. I can assure you, it is all true. So use this business at your own risk!
