A young teenager who also works at Eastridge finally walked up to us with a remote and said to Ryan "It's not really a big deal, I can just change the channel." My thoughts exactly. You can pick colors and sounds to be on during your entire float, just at the bookends or it can be completely quiet and dark during the float. You have a private room that includes a shower along with your floating tank. First you'll take a shower and rinse off before and then you can get into the tank. The water is body temperature so it's comfortable to get into. I had a difficult time relaxing at first and was pretty antsy sitting still for so long but I eventually was able to relax. Also, beware if you have any scrapes or cuts because they will sting when you get in the salt water. Once you're done floating you'll rinse off and then they have a grooming room where you can dry your hair and apply makeup before heading out. The facilities have everything you need and feel very clean and modern.
