I was looking for a place that does customized photo slate printing. That is where you can print a photo on a piece of stone. I searched and searched everywhere for a local business that provided this specific service but my searched only led me to online ordering. Which would take over a week to receive- with very costly shipping. I finally did a Yelp search for personalized photo gifts and it gave me a few locations, but after calling the first two businesses, they did not provide what I was looking for. I almost gave up altogether, but I made one last call to Gifts World Plus and to my surprise, they had exactly what I was looking for! It is local, super fast and with a price that can not be beat. The customer service is 5 star and if I could give them more stars I would! Teresa was more than helpful and so pleasant to work with. Terrible Customer Service at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery in La Puente…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery on Hacienda Blvd in La Puente. I was purchasing a letterman jacket for my son for $690. When it came time to pay, the employee processed my card, and the machine showed the payment went through as credit. She then wanted to charge me an additional $15 because of how the transaction was processed. I explained that I wasn't going to pay an additional $15 for something I had no control over. Instead of taking responsibility and waiving the charge, she refunded the entire $690, which I now have to wait up to five business days to receive. I even offered to pay cash, but she told me she wasn't going to wait for me to get it and that I would have to call back on Friday. She also informed me that my son's jacket was no longer guaranteed to be ready by the date we had originally agreed upon. What really bothered me was her attitude throughout the entire situation. There was no effort to work with me or find a reasonable solution. I was willing to spend nearly $700 at this business, and instead of showing any appreciation or professionalism, she made us feel like we were the inconvenience. All of this happened because she refused to waive a $15 charge that resulted from how she processed the payment. She would rather lose a $690 sale than resolve a $15 issue. As a father, I wanted this to be a special experience for my son. Getting a letterman jacket is a big accomplishment, and instead of walking out excited about his jacket, we left frustrated and disappointed. Customer service goes a long way, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. It's not even about the $15 anymore. It's about the principle, the attitude, and how customers are treated. I would not recommend Lee's Lettering & Embroidery based on how my son and I were treated.
