The Doodle Whisperer!! I've never met a more caring dog groomer. She loves animals and treats your pet like they're her own. We've been to at least 5 other groomers before Personal Touch and none come close to Marta! We have a Golden Doodle and she's the only groomer I've met that knows how to properly groom a doodle. 10/10! read more

Marta at Personal Touch is truly amazing. I researched different groomers in the area for my havanese puppy last October. After taking Hugo to her for his first grooming I knew that I found the right one! Marta uses all organic and natural products, doesn't use crates and she or her husband take the dogs outside for a potty break during the grooming session. She has a very homey set up, the first time I came to pick up Hugo I walked in and he was beautifully groomed, sleeping on her husbands belly as he sat on a recliner in front of the fireplace I have been to her every 8 weeks since then- I tell Hugo we are going to see Marta and he gets excited!! Marta also schedules compatible dogs on the same day, doesn't overbook and seems to really love the work she does! read more

After getting fed up with the big pet store groomers, I looked around for a small local grooming salon. I am glad I did! We went in to get nails clipped only. Instead, Marta said she would file their nails. This way, she could remove as much as possible without cutting their quicks. It took much less time than I expected. Marta took the time to meet and greet both of my dogs. She pet them, talked to them, and showed them the tool she would be using to get them used to it. She spent longer getting to know them and making them feel at ease than she did filing their nails! We did not get full service grooming, but I feel confident I would have gotten my money's worth with that as well. There were several dogs waiting for their turn for a bath and trim, and all seemed so comfortable and relaxed with Marta. My Chihuahua, that is afraid of everything and everyone did not even shake while Marta worked on her. I will be back! I have been to a ton of groomers in the past, but after going to see Marta at Personal Touch there is no need for others. You get the best from Marta. My dog even has a problem with biting but Marta is able to finely groom my dog. He always is fresh & clean when Marta is finished. Marta IS Personal Touch Pet Grooming and she's amazing. Kind, patient, professional, and very talented with an obvious great love for dogs. When our Cairn terrier comes back from Personal Touch, she is as clean as can be. She doesn't have even the faintest doggie smell.
