We were at Grand Central and wanted breakfast before heading to the US Open. This place is right across 42nd st. It was perfect. They have a dining room if everyone in your party is ordering a full breakfast and a café area if you just want a coffee or croissant type items. The hostess was pleasant. Most of the waiters worked as a team. I had the eggs and bacon and it came with toast and a fabulous salad. I tasted my friends very pricey blueberry pancakes. I think they were about 25 bucks for 4 pancakes and nothing else. They were delicious but not 25 dollar delicious. I also tasted the homefries and they had a good flavor. I would go back.

Just about what you're going to get for being in a tourist spot. $30 French toast, $28 pancakes, and $35 specials. Large space to spread out. Very clean and attentive service. The French toast was very nicely displayed and cooked well. The fruit were very fresh and the bacon was crunchy, just the way I love it. Large portion for the price.

Always great service, central location and usually plenty of space. Nice menu with something for everyone. Soups salads beers wine whiskey and burgers . If they have the pot pie on special try it it's special . Burgers are good . Steak sandwich is a little light on but tasty. Guess it's a function of economics bc prices up dramatically and portions down.

The service was excellent from the staff but not from our server she forgot to place our order the food was cold and bland the location of the restaurant is popular and the inside has great chemistry I will have to try again and hope that the service is on top of their game. It has a bar and it is lively I expected more flavor and luckier ambiance

This place has become a favorite spot to meet up with one of my friends. Whether it be for a quick bite to eat or drinks. Today we dropped by for a catchup over a delicious Tempranillo Rioja and Prosecco. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of by Mark despite the bar being full.

Very cozy and beautiful decor. Waiters were very nice but everything took quite a long time even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Food was good but pretty pricey for nothing special.

Had a wonderful meal at Persian Square. The pot pie was flavorful and comforting, though I would have appreciated a slightly crispier topping. Overall, a great experience

Visited the establishment on a Thursday night for a much needed drink and meet up with long time friends. We chose to enter this place b/c it seemed quiet and it wasn't packed to the gills as bars in the vicinity were. Located under a bridge, right across the street from the legendary Grand Central Station. I felt the ambiance was very nice. Everyone of the staff we dealt with was very courteous and attentive. Their menu is not very extensive; reminiscent of that of a diner, but with more quality. We got a lobster roll, a burger and a chicken pot pie. Everything was as one would expect. It is a cool spot to sit down and have a conversation with friends over a drink, but it is a bit on the pricey side ($28 for a pot pie).

Came for impromptu dinner. Tried the crab cakes, mozzarella and tomato salad and the salmon. All were fine. Great location. Mid line pricing. Gets loud due to noise.

My favorite spot for breakfast in the city, I've been dining at Pershing Square for over 20 years and they remain incredibly consistent. My wife and I had Christmas Eve Brunch at Pershing Square to start our holiday celebration. As always, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere was energetic and the food was delicious. I went with my favorite, Belgium Waffles with berries and a side of bacon. The berries were all fresh, in fact the blackberries were enormous in size and flavor. The bacon was just the right amount of chewy and crisp. And the coffee is our perfection. Only negative was that they didn't top off my coffee, but in the end maybe that was a good thing The atmosphere here is very warm and friendly. The cafe is under the Park Avenue viaduct, across from the main entrance to Grand Central Station along 42nd street. If you're a tourist (as we were before moving here in 2011), brunch here is a must!

We were in the vicinity of Grand Central and in the mood for a late breakfast. Pershing Square offers fast service, tasty dishes, and interesting architecture. The breakfast menu is available 7AM - 11:45AM, Monday to Friday. Our waiter arrived promptly, and we shared: * EGGS BENEDICT $20: Canadian bacon, English muffin, hollandaise, house salad * FRESH FRUIT BOWL $15: Fresh seasonal fruit The Eggs Benedict was very good, the egg was nicely cooked, and the dish was well executed. Most of the fruit was good, some of the melon was not sufficiently ripe. We also ordered one iced tea, for a total bill of $44. Overall, a good, fast breakfast worthy of a four-star rating.

Nice old timey ambiance! Most of the servers were very polite and the service was quicker than expected! The French toast I got was amazing, and so was my hot chocolate drink I got! The eggs were also great!

The lobster is a little chewy, but the spicy claws were very flavorful. All of the crab had so much meat and the seasonings were all amazing. Surprisingly, the iron steak was one of our favorites despite this being a seafood spot. The waiter did say to just check mark the paper instead of quantities, but they end up bringing you 2 of everything you order. The sweet & spicy fish is also very solid, garlic noodles were buttery, and even their iced tea was super refreshing. Could not recommend this place more!! Bonus: they play a great 2000s throwback playlist that got us singing along and dancing while we were peeling all our seafood to pass the time. Shoutout to whichever employee put that playlist together!

This is exactly the kind of place that works well when you need something fast but still high quality. Service stood out. Jeanine was excellent; she quickly understood our time constraint, guided us to the right dishes, and kept everything moving without making it feel rushed. At one point we accidentally put a plastic menu over a lit candle, and she handled it immediately and made the moment feel light rather than awkward. The atmosphere was lively and full; the place was packed, but it still felt organized rather than chaotic. The bar looked well stocked, and the overall ambience worked well for a pre-train, Times Square-adjacent stop. Food was solid, with a few standouts. The salmon tartare with sesame crackers was excellent; clean, fresh, and well balanced. Jeanine recommended the shrimp avocado sliders, and that was the right call; they were outstanding. Happy hour oysters were fresh and well balanced. Littleneck clams were good, though slightly less compelling than the oysters. The fish tacos were good but not particularly memorable. Fried calamari was well executed, though the accompanying sauce could have used a little more flavor. The hot sauce, assuming it is made in house, was excellent and added a much better punch to the seafood. Drinks from the happy hour menu, including the Pink Flamingo and margarita, were good and consistent. I would come back to try more from the main menu. If you like seafood, this is a strong option for the price point and location, especially during happy hour.

I find it oftentimes to be overpriced, coming with a lot of bells and whistles and lacking in flavor compared to Little Thailand in Queens where I grew up. This place is an exception! From beginning to end everything was excellent. The pork belly was the perfect temperature of warm, tender, a bit acidic/sour (YUM), and so delightful. I can see why many reviews recommend it. The crab curry was so nice and clean and fresh. The crab was so tender, and the curry strong, and went beautifully with the rice. It's actually such a sleeper hit, and we added it onto our order last minute. The steamed branzino was delicious, too - tender, limey, sour, sweet, a little heat - it's got everything!! And it tasted so so clean. Beware! There are tiny fish bones, so be careful as you're eating it. The dessert was good too, and very authentic.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I knew the experience was going to be next level. Thank you Jay for seating me and my friend at the best table in the house. Thank you to our phenomenal server Shamim. Your service was really over the top stellar. Soon as you sit at the table, menus are placed. Complimentary delicious bread, water, and warm hand towels are provided to clean your hands. The seafood buffet is $168 and you can order everything, as many times as you like. The buffet is contactless. The food is served to you at your table. Because the food is served in a manner that is based on a shared dining experience. All guests at the table have to order either buffet or Prix Fix menu. My order of Rockefeller oysters, and clams were simply the best I ever tasted. The way they were prepared is the only way I want to taste them. The next dishes they brought out were fried shrimp, sizzling shrimp scampi. Soft shell crab was cooked to perfection. My garlic butter Nova Scotia Lobster was divine. Cooked, and served to perfection! Next the sizzling sea bass was brought to the table! O-M-G! Within a second after arriving to our table still sizzling. Jose came to personally debone the fish (never had that done before) and he added the Thai chili sauce. At this point, my body was in a foodie coma! After a brief clean up of our table. I left our dining room, and went to the ladies room. When you walk in the ladies room, between the floral scent, and decor you are in awe of the details, the bathroom was dreamy. Back at the table our two servers set up a Picasso style dessert with hand drawn chocolate with the ice cream and a delicious cheesecake. Thank you for the birthday wishes, and celebration for my friend. José out did his self with his talented art skills. Special thanks to the Manager Sam for stopping by every table to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It was beyond our satisfaction. Tip: Make reservations even if your a party of two. Be sure all guests arrive at the same time. Tip#2: The upstairs level is perfect for large gatherings, corporate events, holiday events, bridal, baby showers, bar/bat mitvah's, and industry events.

The all-you-can-eat menu is made fresh to order, not sitting out like a typical buffet, which makes a huge difference in quality. I loved the seafood selection: lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels, octopus, fish, calamari ... you name it. What really stood out to me was how much variety there is. Even the steak, fried rice, noodles, lamb, and veggies were delicious. The service was super attentive and quick with bringing out dishes. The price is definitely a splurge, but worth it for the experience and high qualit. It's not just a meal, it's a whole vibe.
