    Signature Chicken Pot Pie! 10/10!
    Nina R.

It's been almost 10 years ago since we last ate here. And the pot pie IS still THE BEST there is. We've reminisced so much while eating our lunch today. Pershing Square will forever be in our hearts. Service was still excellent and food brings back memories!

The service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and even recommended a few things to do in the area. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, so it doesn't feel crowded. The food was good overall, although I do think it's a bit pricey for breakfast. The location is very convenient, right across from Grand Central.

We were at Grand Central and wanted breakfast before heading to the US Open. This place is right across 42nd st. It was perfect. They have a dining room if everyone in your party is ordering a full breakfast and a café area if you just want a coffee or croissant type items. The hostess was pleasant. Most of the waiters worked as a team. I had the eggs and bacon and it came with toast and a fabulous salad. I tasted my friends very pricey blueberry pancakes. I think they were about 25 bucks for 4 pancakes and nothing else. They were delicious but not 25 dollar delicious. I also tasted the homefries and they had a good flavor. I would go back.

The picture of the 84° thermostat was taken TODAY, 7/3/26, at 3:00pm!!! So many customers leaving because of the heat!!!

ICONIC Pershing Square IS REALLY out of touch on what it means to keep customers!!! I come here as much as I can when I am on vacation. Today is my second day, this week and I THOUGHT THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS BROKEN!!! The temp is in the 100's today and when I asked the manager when the air conditioner would be repaired, she rudely said, "Its not broken. It IS working." When I said it was cooking in the restaurant today and it wasnt when I took the pancake picture, she said the temperature was the same in the restaurant as before. THEIR THERMOSTAT SAYS ITS 84 degrees in the restaurant! Its INSANE.

The service was excellent from the staff but not from our server she forgot to place our order the food was cold and bland the location of the restaurant is popular and the inside has great chemistry I will have to try again and hope that the service is on top of their game. It has a bar and it is lively I expected more flavor and luckier ambiance

This location is so convenient. Right outside Grand Central, also a very easy walk from the Hyatt. This places looks like an upscale diner from years ago, and it has a cozy and relaxed feel. We came here for breakfast snd really enjoyed their options. We settled on the Eggs Benedict and an egg breakfast sandwich. Both of these could be ordered with potatoes or a salad. I asked for crispy bacon on the egg sandwich and they cooked it perfectly. The sandwich had a spread of avocado and some melted cheese and the salad was basic with cherry tomatoes, red onions and a tasty dressing. It was a very decent meal. The service was efficient and fast, the one ding about this place is that you have to go to their checkout desk in order to pay with your phone. I would highly recommend for them to get the portable service that accepts payments at the tables. Other than that, we enjoyed our cozy breakfast.

This place has become a favorite spot to meet up with one of my friends. Whether it be for a quick bite to eat or drinks. Today we dropped by for a catchup over a delicious Tempranillo Rioja and Prosecco. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of by Mark despite the bar being full.

Always great service, central location and usually plenty of space. Nice menu with something for everyone. Soups salads beers wine whiskey and burgers . If they have the pot pie on special try it it's special . Burgers are good . Steak sandwich is a little light on but tasty. Guess it's a function of economics bc prices up dramatically and portions down.

Just about what you're going to get for being in a tourist spot. $30 French toast, $28 pancakes, and $35 specials. Large space to spread out. Very clean and attentive service. The French toast was very nicely displayed and cooked well. The fruit were very fresh and the bacon was crunchy, just the way I love it. Large portion for the price.

Very cozy and beautiful decor. Waiters were very nice but everything took quite a long time even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Food was good but pretty pricey for nothing special.

Visited the establishment on a Thursday night for a much needed drink and meet up with long time friends. We chose to enter this place b/c it seemed quiet and it wasn't packed to the gills as bars in the vicinity were. Located under a bridge, right across the street from the legendary Grand Central Station. I felt the ambiance was very nice. Everyone of the staff we dealt with was very courteous and attentive. Their menu is not very extensive; reminiscent of that of a diner, but with more quality. We got a lobster roll, a burger and a chicken pot pie. Everything was as one would expect. It is a cool spot to sit down and have a conversation with friends over a drink, but it is a bit on the pricey side ($28 for a pot pie).

Came for impromptu dinner. Tried the crab cakes, mozzarella and tomato salad and the salmon. All were fine. Great location. Mid line pricing. Gets loud due to noise.

Had a wonderful meal at Persian Square. The pot pie was flavorful and comforting, though I would have appreciated a slightly crispier topping. Overall, a great experience

The green juice was so refreshing and the fries were delicious and the aioli paired with it was perfection. Pickled veggies, fresh falafel, the works. The waffle was also delicious and it had an addicting maple-butterscotch sauce that kept us coming back (I wish I ordered one just for myself it was that good). Can't wait to come back, Banter Brunch days will definitely be a part of my routine.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
